Senses is an excellent venue for a break, quiet relaxing with crystal clear seas on your doorstep. Plenty of food variety in the restaurant and a all inclusive option to keep the costs down. The inclusion of the pizza service in the afternoon if you missed lunch was excellent
Excellent food, friendly staff always willing and ready to help. It was a wonderful experience to stay in the Labranda Resort. Easy to book excursions and a lovely walk from the resort to Vbroska, which is a beautiful town.
This hotel is in a stunning location, the rooms are spacious, the whole hotel is kept beautifully clean and tidy. We visited at the end of the season and high winds were forecast so not everything was running or but in season there is plenty to do cycle hire scooters e bikes quads paddleboards cars. The Meeting Point staff are very efficient and knowledgeable and can book everything you might need. We took the water taxi to various villages and it was well priced and such lovely way to travel. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, they made every effort to make our stay enjoyable, we would certainly return, many thanks to all staff at Labranda Senses Resort Hvar.
Lovely hotel food drinks were all very good facilities around the hotel were poor ie entertainment program non existence told stop end ofSeptember even though advertised upto end of October on various websites excellent holiday if you only want to eat and drink!!
Stayed here middle of September, lovely weather, about 27C every day. We received a warm welcome from everyone, the lady at the airport, the taxi drivers and the hotel receptionist where we were signed in with minimum of fuss. Although not big, our sea view room was clean, well organised and in good decorative order, plus had one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in. There is a mini fridge, safe, hairdryer, kettle etc and slippers but no bath robe. Only very minor disappointment was the poor quality shampoo and no conditioner. Restaurant was well organised although they ask you to book a time for your next meal to avoid congestion. Breakfast was the same every day but with plenty of choice. Lunch and dinner were more varied with a good selection of hot and cold dishes plus friendly, helpful and attentive waiters. The Bar staff were also helpful but if you are 'all-inclusive' the cocktails are a bit weak. The Beach Bar area also had an unpleasant smell quite often. Couldn't work out where it came from and it wasn't over-powering, just not nice. The Spa has a good choice of treatments and they were very reasonably priced. To the right and left of the hotel there are some lovely walks but be prepared for the nudist beach! We hired E-Bikes at 150kr for 4 hours. They were brilliant fun, we cycled to the next town Vbroska in about 5 minutes and then onto Jelsa in a further 30 minutes. Both towns well worth a visit. You can also get the island bus (a modern coach) from Vbroska. It costs 33kr one way (cash only) to Hvar town but there are only a few each day leaving at 09:30 or 11:35. The return ones are roughly 12:30 or 16:30. Make sure you get a ticket as Inspectors regularly board and check passengers. There is a lovely Fort but it is quite a climb and costs 50kr to enter. We had lunch in a roof top restaurant over-looking the harbour and would rate it 5/5. Plava Alga, ordered a main course and got a complimentary starter of fresh pate plus a small chocolate dessert and honey liqueur. The island of Hvar has plenty of ATM machines, supermarkets and restaurants but not much in the way of general shops. When checking out there is a 120kr local tax charge and trying to fit the ferry times in with flight times can mean a lot of hanging around, however it's worth it to visit this ruggedly beautiful and unspoilt island.…
