personnel were very helpful and kind enough to wait for our group to arrive later than usual for dinner. From our 7-days trip in Croatia and surrounding countries this was the hotel that had the best dinner and breakfast: quiet a lot of things to choose from a buffet. Rooms were spacious, center a bit far away but if you stay overnight it's convinient...

Stayed here for one night on our bus trip around Croatia with Scandorama. It was nice and clean, and the size of the rooms were ok. They had a nice indoor pool.
We had their buffet dinner when we arrived, it was not that good but the area didn’t had so many other places to eat and it felt a little bit in the middle of nowhere. It’s close to Split we would rather stay there than Seget Donji.

This hotel seems to cater to groups that are leaving on cruises from Trogir or Split and thus is relatively full, at least it was when I stayed there. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms large, the a/c adequate and the windows sufficiently sound proof. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Breakfast was tasty. You can walk to beaches from the hotel, as well as to Trogir.

Well located but way too expensive for its current 4* rating. This is max a 2* hotel and should psition itself like this.

Air conditioning yes, but it goes with a smell. Very old fashioned rooms and bathrooms.

Basic breakfast,

Iksude pool but looks more like a cave than anything else

Please reposition yourselves and adapt your prices

My partner and I have visited Croatia many times, hired car and roam around. Covid has changed this for many. Cavtat 2 days , car hired and ferry, not to hit Bosnia (red area) . Drive an hour n a half to this hotel. Staff so helpful and friendly. Hotel great location to old town and beach. 20 mins walk to town 10 mins to beach. Room spacious, air conditioning excellent, doesn’t turn off when not in room. Bed so comfortable, king size. Bathroom red but spotless. Breakfast, buffet style, enough to choose from. A couple of bars and restaurants opposite. Plenty of supermarkets. Nice quiet resort to hit before road trip. Thank you to staff on all levels for making our stay relaxed and comfortable. Parking close by.

We are here still as a part of a group. I have been all around the world, and this is by far one of the worst hotels I have ever been to. Not for anything, but you expect differently from a 4 stars hotel.
We arrived here at night and we had paid for the bags to be taken up to our rooms. Unfortunately we arrived late (10 pm) and the man had left!!
First of all..each room 1 key only. Wow.And no possibility for another onr.

Dinner was quite terrible. Really. A tiny corner. They did have fish, meat and chicken..but..
We were 50 people. The dessert was 50 peices of a tiny chocolate unkown item.

The rooms are good and very clean. Our room was huge.. :)

The next day for breakfast, the selection was so limited I ate watermelons and buttered toast everyday!!
Then the staff were literally WATCHING us. One at the door and one passing between the tables to clean. But actually they were not just cleaning. They were making sure no one goes out with a "treassured" sandwich. My friend took a tiny sandwich with her..the lady stopped her saying: you must pay!!!!!!!! Imagine that.

Then I made the terrible mistake of asking for a kettle. The guy had no idea what a kettle was. I had to get him a photo from the internet just to show him. So he said he has been in the hotel business fir a very long time and never heard of guests asking for kettles. Then he said: if I give you a kettle..how am I going to sell my teas and coffees. I was dumbstruck.

That was nothing compared to their rudeness and inability to treat the tourists.
we were not able to use the tap cold water machine during the day. Only during breakfast.
No to mention how rude the staff were with my friends on the group.

The pool is tiny but cute.
The WIFI is really good and strong.

Finally I told the man that this is the worst experience in my life and that I will write a bad review on Tripadvisor. He said he doesnt even know what Tripadvisor is.

No way this hotel is 4 stars. No way.
So in short if you are really stuck and have no where to go at all..and dont mind the illtreatment or the v v v v limited food selection..go there.
Otherwise: DO NOT GO.
They successfully ruined our holiday.

I had a 1-night stay booked here the night before leaving Croatia. The night I checked in, I went out in Split at came back at 4am to find that THE FRONT DOOR WAS LOCKED AND THERE WAS NO WAY TO GET IN. I looked around for another entrance, or a phone number to call, or a night guard, and found nothing. I spent 30-40 minutes waiting and trying to call the hotel or find a way in, to no avail, all the while standing by myself in front of the hotel at the side of the road (not a comfortable situation for a young woman by herself at 4 in the morning). Eventually I gave up and managed to join friends nearby, and returned to the hotel at 6am. I told the manager what happened and he was rude, unapologetic, and basically said "so what?" to me having to wait outside in the middle of the night. He insisted on charging me for a room that I couldn't use, and at first insisted that I still check out at 12, despite me not being able to have slept at all that night. After a huge argument he agreed to a late check-out, but still charged me for the night without so much as an apology. It should be noted that the hotel does not have a curfew or an advertised time that the doors close - the night guard was supposed to have been there to let people in, but just disappeared and left the doors locked, with no contact number.

I absolutely implore anyone who considers staying here to STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE unless you don't mind wandering the street alone at night if you happen to come back to the hotel at the wrong time.

Stayed at Hotel Rotondo during our family vacation in April 2019, was out of season thus extremely relaxed and quiet , will recommend this hotel to anyone. Breakfast spread not as extensive as some of the bigger hotels, but more than adequate to suit anyone's needs.

We spent 5 days and 4 nights and was excited. We're half board. I can only say nice things to the whole hotel staff. They really great. Breakfast is plentiful, in fact a Swedish table and you can still order things as desired. Evening is the same choice and if there are no groups to do with the chef you can prepare dishes according to your wishes. I do not know, but I have never been like this in any kind of family environment. Some do not like it, we enjoyed it because the warm atmosphere of the people makes you more beautiful. The rooms are nice, clean and big. Parking is secured. They have family rooms, which we took, there are two rooms connected, so for those who travel with teenagers as well as it is a great thing. We all know how they like their comfort. On another occasion we will also stay there.

During our trip to Trogir my girlfriend and I spent 2 Nights at Hotel Rotondo.

We were looking for something with easy access to Trogir as well as free parking so the Hotel Rotondo turned out to be our best bet.

To be honest, I found the hotel a little bit dated but for the price and location it’s hard to go wrong.

From the property it's an easy 10-minute walk to the small town of Seget Donji and it's possible to walk to Trogir in about 30 minutes. Alternatively, it's just a short 5 minute drive to Trogir and there is plenty of parking outside of the city center so I recommend driving for a better experience.

We had a large room with a great view of Seget Donji, the nearby harbor, and the surrounding buildings/countryside.

The small balcony was great and we were rewarded with amazing sunsets on both of the nights that we stayed.

The air conditioning work very well and the bed was comfortable. The room was actually huge and the Furniture was awkwardly placed so there was a lot of empty space in the room, not really a problem though.

The wifi worked okay. There's an indoor pool in the basement of the hotel although I'm not sure why you would need it during the summer because you could just swim at one of the nearby beaches.

Breakfast was included in our rate and it was good enough to start us off for the day. There are a few restaurants nearby as well as plenty of restaurants in Trogir to choose from so you have a lot of options when it comes to dining.

Staff were indifferent about our arrival but helped us out with any questions we had.

Overall, I would recommend staying at the Hotel Rotondo if you're traveling on a budget and looking for something with a good location, free parking, and easy access to Trogir.
