Spent one night here after landing PPT. I wish I had booked for longer. The grounds are impeccable and quite massive. Pool, fish lagoon you can swim in, large outdoor dining area. The resort faces Moorea. I was there for a night, booked a standard room. I had an awesome view, nice terrace. Nice and cold AC, great wifi. OK, maybe its not a brand new hotel, but it was quite nice and scores a 12 for location and a 10 for convenience from the airport. I ordered room service and I left my wallet and phone on the desk. When I returned to my room to find dinner arrived early and it was sitting on the desk right next to my valuables. My thanks to a very professional staff because my things were undisturbed. Thank you for a great stay

First of all I couldn't believe we were going to Tahiti for our 20th Anniversary but to cap it off, we checked in with Teeva and he made us feel like family. We arrived in the dark and enjoyed the best poke bowl we ever tasted from the bar. Everything you want when you're on vacation. We couldn't wait to wake up the next morning in our overwater bungalow and see what people talk about Tahiti, the beautiful clear water and amazing views. Anyway I highly recommend you stay at this resort. The staff is great. Hopefully you'll be blessed to have Teeva check you in. Can't wait to take our kids and friends next time.

On arrival in Tahiti we were given a Covid Self Test Kit to be complete on the 4th day after our arrival. Customs was well organized. The Duty Free Shop was open for our flight arrival at 4:40am (note the Duty Free Shops in LAX were closed). The InterContinental is about 4 miles from the Faa'a International Airport. A taxi was about 1700 XPF or $17 USD. Masks are required and social distancing is observed. We stayed in a King Jr Over-Water Bungalow and were very pleased. There was a ladder from our private deck into the water. The room had the usual amenities: flat screen TV, iron, ironing board, coffee maker, hot pot and hair dryer. The electrical plugs are 2-prong. The American Breakfast Buffet is amazing including eggs cooked to order. You sanitized your hands before entering the buffet. Along with a plate, you had individual tongs and ladle to use so no shared serving utensils. Small fans were located at the various food stations. No need for lunch after a huge breakfast. We enjoyed dining early at the Tiki Bar where they had Polynesian entertainment. The grounds are beautiful with a waterfall and infinity pools. One of the pools was like being on the beach with a sand bottom and swim up bar. I hate cold water and found the water temperature quite pleasant.. While tipping is not necessary, it is appreciated. Hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. They were very prompt in answering my emails. We took a 1/2 day tour of Tahiti which we found very interesting. I found that most things including the tour could be charged to your room. Be sure to let your credit card company know that you are traveling out of the country. For a nominal fee we were able to get an early check-in and late check-out. The hotel also offers a complimentary room with a shower to freshen up. The Faa'a Duty Free Shop is the prefect place to use up any XPF as you can charge the balance to your credit card. Safe Travels!

We only stayed one night but the hotel is in dire need of updating. The room was small and the bathroom tiny. Couldn’t imagine staying more than 1-2 nights. We stayed here to catch our bora bora flight the next morning. The breakfast buffet had great variety and a Tahitian show which was fun. We didn’t use the pool but also looked like it needed some TLC

Clean old classic Polynesian feel .wonderful breakfast buffet w your own tongs .we swam in lagoon and pool and walked the property admiring the fish/the water/crabs/birds /boats. Towel service does not start early, no robes or hair dryer in room which I would’ve enjoyed. Perhaps a few beach towels in each room would be nice for an evening or early morning swim. View of Moorea is beautiful . Check in and out is a bit of a traffic jam and the shuttles to one lane road to rooms is also a little right but charming. Great if lobby had drinks flowing/complimentary water or juice or cool Towel and lei greeting. Hotel arranged transport for us to and from Airport and ferry which was helpful. United crew stayed here we noticed . Mix of Americans/Europeans and locals
