Glorious grounds, magic water and infinity pool. Great gourmet restaurant over the water as well as more casual larger breakfast/ lunch place. We stayed in the hotel itself rather than a bure and it was a little tired - but frankly, the grounds are so outrageously beautiful we didn't spend much time there other than to sleep. The staff are... More

We spent one night at the Intercontinental before we flew home... what a disappointment. The wing we were put in was TERRIBLE -- dirty, ripped carpets, tiny room, chipped tub in bathroom, walls like paper. We heard EVERY sound in the halls all night. Amex Platinum Services made the reservation for us. We were relieved that it was only a... More

We stayed 2 nights prior to our flight home. Good location as it is very close to the airport and transfers via taxi are simple and fast. We had a lagoon view room which was good. Some music noise from the bar but that wasn't too bad. The room was a little dated but was perfectly fine and comfortable. This... More

We only stayed here for one night after returning from Bora Bora so I suppose you could say we were so spoilt at the Intercontinental Thalasso & Spa that nothing was ever going to live up to it and maybe that is correct but this hotel just didn't do it for me. It is about a five minute taxi ride... More

Dear Guest: Greetings from Tahiti! Glad to read that your overall experience was a positive one. Our resort cannot be possibly compared with luxury resorts in Bora in terms of products, infrastructures services and prices. Nevertheless our Tahiti resort with close to 250 rooms is the largest hotel in Tahiti located 10 minutes from the airport and welcoming hundreds of... More

We stayed 3 nights when we arrived in Tahiti and then another one night when we arrived back from Moorea. The first three nights were in a Superior room with a lagoon view, this was a nice room with a great view. The only downside was that the aircon was not as efficient as it should have been. The one... More

My family and I...6 of us...stayed at the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort for 3 wonderful days. We upgraded to the Motu overwater bungalows which were great. They are well thought out for amenities, looks, and the internet is free and great. You can go out the picture door to the back patio and go right down the steps into the water.... More

We just recently returned from a spectacular holiday in Moorea, but had a two day stopover in Tahiti. We were welcomed warmly and concierge had been brilliant in advance arranging flight arrival greetings and transfers to the hotel. We were able to attend a buffet dinner and show which was pleasant. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had delicious seafood... More

A pleasant surprise after arriving at 1am. Upgraded to over water bungalow and given late check-out. On return from cruise, stayed in panoramic lagoon view. Although this view was blocked by palms, I enjoyed the interior decor here more. Such a lovely hotel. Thoroughly recommend to all

No question that this is a very good hotel. Not sure, though, whether it deserves five stars. We stayed here as part of a cruise. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent.
