I was fortunate to have a blissful extended stay of 2 months at Yoga Rocks thanks to Helen and Phil and their incredible team. They all spoiled me with their hospitality and care. Ian always had a smile, a joke and a good story. Briony the chef is a true artist creating every day a unique lunch and dinner of exquisite vegan tastes and colours all sourced from local farms. The waters call you for a swim. The rocks call you for a climb and an Icarus jump. The wind calls you to feel your inner strength. The yoga studio calls you to develop your own practice with its gorgeous view. WOW! Thank you Helen and Phil and YR team!

Amazing experience! stunning place, In the midst of wild beaches. I loved every second of my stay: daily yoga practice, comfortable rooms with beautiful ocean views, outdoor spaces to relax, superb vegan meals, incredible beaches with crystal clear water perfect to swim and the best hosts than one can imagine. After 6 intense months of COVID craziness I arrived to Yoga Rocks feeling depleted...4 days later I left feeling recharged, grounded and nourished!! The daily yoga practice with Helen was great and suitable both for for beginners or advanced yogis. Highly recommended! Phil and Helen have created a truly magical space...I Can’t wait to be back!

What a caring and calming atmosphere. Thank you Helen and Phil and all the team. The food is delicious and substantial, mealtimes were sociable and happy times, also with homemade bread, granola, fruits, nuts and honey jam and yoghurt avail at all times throughout the day and night in the communal kitchen for snacks if needed. The yoga and meditation was generous and warm and kind. The weather and location was stunning. The rooms were simple, yet soothing and spotless. I also loved the efforts taken to recycle, re use and I hardly saw any plastic at all. Helen was so helpful prior to our trip helping to arrange transport from the airport. There are only 2 tiny things I would have changed and that would be a kettle that poured more successfully in the communal kitchen and replace the decorative cushions on the bed as they were a bit worn. I came away from this retreat feeling totally nurtured and calm and good about the world. It is a truely special place. Still doing yoga every day and eating lots of yoghurt and making my own bread and granola. Yoga Rocks lives on in me :).

How Helen and Phil and their great staff run this place is just amazing. I can go on about the food and the amazing vibe forever. And then we have yet talked about the view location and surroundings. You gotta see and experience this one for yourself.

This was my first time doing a yoga retreat and my first time on Crete and I absolutely loved it. Helen and Phil and all of the Karma yogis on staff make Yoga Rocks such a relaxing and wonderful place to be! The atmosphere is so relaxing, the beaches nearby are spectacular- the water is crystal clear, the yoga space is welcoming and they had everything we needed. The rooms are simple but comfortable and extremely clean. I can't say enough about the food. Phil goes to the nearby farmers market each week to source fresh veggies, and the chefs put on a feast at each meal. There's always abundant food and we were often surprised with treats after the meals (chocolate balls, fresh fruit, etc). The homemade sourdough and yogurt in the mornings was so good, you can't get yogurt like that in the US! There's also amazing fresh fruit- peaches, bananas, plums, etc., that's all grown on Crete, and also an endless supply of citrus to make fresh juice with. My husband and I came together, and we both agreed that this was hands down the best vacation we've ever taken together! I would highly recommend making the trip to Yoga Rocks, especially for the David Williams retreat :)
