Very old hotel (70s) with mounted radio on the wall on top of the bed, the whole place looks like a crime scene, the only think we fortunately couldn't find was the corpse even looking behind the horrifying stained curtains. The pool should display a warning sign for risk of genetic malformations while swimming in that surely contaminated water. No...

Apparently hotel looks like a normal one without interest. Once you enter notes that does not fit reality. Reception staff attentive and considerate, decisive in case of problems, rapid and efficient cleaning staff and the direction seems to be aware of everything. A pleasant surprise! In addition there is a buffet for breakfast impressive and offer very good quality, which...

Im a truck driver and had to take a 45 hr break. I was on the outskirts of Calafell, Tarragona. I am not allowed to spend this time in my truck so my company searched the internet for a local hotel. Luckily the Victoria had just re-opened this day after the winter break. On my arrival the owner greeted me...

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and were thoroughly impressed. We booked an apartment as we are a family of four with two young children of 3 and 5. The breakfast in the hotel was excellent with a choice of cereals, juices, pastries and tea and coffee. The couple that run the place are lovely and couldn't do...

We were moved here by Booking.com after being double booked by other property owners. It was not somewhere that we would have chosen so were relieved when we saw how clean and light the apartment was. The Victoria is a hotel that fronts on to quite a busy main road. There are 6 apartments behind it; the two on the...

The hotel was further from Barcelona than I anticipated but nevertheless I had quite a good stay. The food was simple but adequate, the view from my room was pleasant and the hotel was a few minutes walk away from the beach. Unfortunately the TV wouldn't work but apart from that it was a largely relaxing 4 night stay, although...

just visited this hotel in a big school group. The rooms were clean but bed was made of wooden planks, the toilet regularly wouldn't stop flushing and the view out of the balcony was poor. Calafell town was boring and run down. The food was horrible. kids meal size portions of things like chicken nuggets and chips, along with tap...

I ran an A Level school trip in February 2012 to Barcelona and we stayed at the Hotel Victoria. The hotel is in an excellent location within Segur De Calafell - located exactly 2 minutes from the station (trainline to Barcelona). The hotel is a 6 minute walk to the sea front and there are safe crossing points across the...
