Stayed in Christina studios the first two weeks of September. My husband and I have been to Greece many many times but never Lefkas and never in September. The weather was absolutely lovely apart from a couple of cloudy afternoons and rain on the day we we were leaving.
We requested an upstairs studio and that is what we got, overlooking the garden and car park and the sun shone on the balcony all day.
Christina, her husband Spiro and the ‘girls’ Eleni and Christina were so welcoming and friendly.
We decided to upgrade ourselves to breakfast daily and it was more than enough, even having bacon on few days which pleased my husband. Eleni and her beautiful daughter Christina c leaned the rooms daily and towels and linen changed at least 3 times a week. There was a bar available for drinks but no snacks but Christina had no problem with you eating your own snacks around the pool.
There are plenty of Tavernas along the road and at the small harbour which is about 15 minute stroll. The lovely bakery, Yummies the coffee and waffle place are 5 mins away. Make sure to turn left out of Christina’s main building and walk along to Nirikos Taverna which is really good and there’s a pizza, bakery just before where you can have a snack. We found our spot on the local beach which was right at the end of the beach going past the little harbour and outside Viva Ligia which is a small but lovely ‘cafe’ where we had lunch and drinks at very very reasonable price and sun bed and parasol were 6€ daily, we spent most days there (apart from 4) as we like a beach. Little tip take or buy beach shoes as it’s shingle and large pebbles to get into the sea. The people at Viva Ligia are so so nice and friendly definitely worth a visit.
We also took two boat trips on the Ionian Star booked through TUI which were so lovely and relaxing and the bbq cooked by captain Spiro on the sand and shells cruise was delicious. the other one on the Friday (can’t) remember what they call it took us to the famous Egrinemi beach and two others also lovely.
This was a lovely two week holiday that we thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend these studios. Efharisto poli Christina and crew.

The 3* Christina Studios and Apartments is traditionally Greek with a large, deep peaceful pool, which has easy access and where you definitely don’t need to reserve a sunbed. (Although some nutters put their towels on at 8am and never seemed to appear)

The rooms are split over 3 buildings. We stayed for 11 nights in the Superior studios which are in a separate annex across the road. The standard and family studios are in the larger building and overlook the pool or garden or mountain view. The 1 bedroom apartments are in a separate building above reception. There are no lifts. Our room was spotless, had a kitchenette and had a super proper shower room. The balcony was large and the bedroom door had a fly door, double glazing, shutters and a perfect retractable canopy.

(Please don’t complain like one guest did when we were there that they wanted the room where the bed had a particular colour bedspread)

The hotel’s pool terrace is a great sun trap, and the pool is surrounded by beautiful flowers, lemon trees and views of the hillside. There is a smaller section of the pool for younger children.

There is a mix of nationalities - mainly British, Dutch, Greek, Italian and German which made the stay more interesting .

Breakfast is a delight. Different homemade options each day - omelette, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, Greek yogurts, croissant, pancakes, bacon, Pastries, biscuits, breads, fruits, fruit juice, tea and coffee. The breakfast team do a superb job.

If your looking for lots of nightlife and a busy resort this isn’t it! It’s just five minutes’ walk to Ligia’s small harbour. There is a mini-market next door and bakery and traditional restaurants within a 3 minute walk.

The walks and views along the pebbly beach and little coastal pathways are stunning. You are followed around by dancing butterflies.

The bus stops close by about 6 times a day. Just 1.60 euro each way to Lefkada or Nidri. Or 8 euros in taxi (depending on traffic)

The icing on the cake is the amazing hospitality of Christina and Spiros. Nothing is too much trouble. All they want is for you to have a fantastic time and we truly did.

Christina and Spiros

Your 3 star accommodation with 5 star service

We have just returned from our stay and had to write a review for this excellent family run home from home

On arrival Christina took us across the road to our apartment number 13 I was so close to being superstitious and asking to move but our room was clean with adequate kitchen/cooking facility and a cool room on the back 40” at 6pm was welcoming !!

The road is busy but we personally not disturbed by it. The road holds the main taverns from which none we had. Bad meal the menu s are pretty much the same only prices may vary but by pence

If you walk down to the harbour the taverners have views and nice setting the sunrise on this side of the island so no sunset but beautiful

Beach has sun beds brollies does fill up quickly but no need for a 6am start beach shoes advisable as no sand mainly rocks

Back to apartments breakfast can be purchased daily at your choice 4€ and plenty of continental choice
pool is clean and sun beds always available and Christina was full so bar is open but no food and you are asked to go to your room to eat/ supermarket next door

Christina will help and advise you with anything on the island and Spiros will entertain you , they are respectful of your privacy so really up to you to ask if you need anything if it’s not right they will fix it

Couple of pointers no atm nearby and cash is king so take cash with you

Mosquito are busy take spray

Car hire is not as cheap as it used to be

Boat trips from nidri are fun and see the island

Lefkada is busy but the sunset is nice from there

Bus 1.6€ timetable on shelters

Thank you Christina Spiros and we will see you on Suvivour next year !!! Much love

Karen (Jill) and Paul xx

An absolutely fantastic stay, would highly recommend.

The rooms are spotless, cleaned daily and towels changed every other day. Our room had a couple of small soap bars and a mini shampoo/shower gel if you forget your own.

There is a mini kitchenette available to use, although all we used was the fridge to store water and after sun and the kettle for cups of tea (pack tea bags!!)

If needed air con is available at €5 a day. We didn’t need it, the patio door was tiltable and had a pull across bug net and a nice breeze.

The pool is lovely, plenty of loungers and umbrellas. Do take your own beach towels.

Plenty of free parking available.

Christina is an AMAZING hostess. Super friendly and helpful, will help arrange cars and no doubt other trips if required. We even enjoyed Greek language lessons with other guests which was fun and helpful for our stay.

Breakfast is delicious. There is something new added most days and enjoyed by the pool. From Greek yogurt and honey, cereal, fresh fruit, slices of cheese and meat. Breads, croissants and more. There is tea, coffee, hot water and juices available. A great start to the day.

Location. The accommodation is about 20 minutes drive from the airport. There is a mini mart a 2 minute walk away with good value drinking water (although tap is drinkable) milk and other snacks and essentials etc.

Between the accommodation and the harbour there are probably around 10 restaurants, both near the road and on the seafront. The restaurant with the Secret Garden is worth a visit, very chi chi!

The beach (stoney) is a 5 minute walk. You can sit/lie on the stones, although not as comfy as the pool loungers, but nice to swim in the clear sea. Do wear beach shoes!

We stayed as a family of 4 - this accommodation is perfect for singles, couples and families. If you are looking for bustling nightlife and a party venue then this is not the place for you. It’s very relaxing and friendly.

Just returned from a fabulous 2 weeks holiday at Christina Studios. From the moment we arrived the owner, Christina, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. She works tirelessly to ensure that all her guests enjoy their stay. She speaks good English, which is a bonus.
We had an upper floor studio facing the pool and the mountains, it had a large wrap around balcony and was more than adequately equipped for our needs. The room had a small kitchenette area with a 2 ring hob, pans, crockery, cutlery etc. The room which, along with the rest of the hotel, was spotless, was cleaned on a daily basis with towels changed every other day. We had booked on a bed and breakfast basis, with breakfast being served between 8 - 10 a.m. in a separate breakfast room. It was the usual continental breakfast but with the added bonus of many homemade dishes such as chocolate cake, bougatsa (custard pie) and local cakes and biscuits.
Ligia itself is situated on the east coast of the island in between Lefkada town, which is very cosmopolitan and Nidri which is a bustling resort. The hotel is situated on the main road between the two towns and whilst it does have a working marina we would say that it is not a traditional resort as such. Having said that, there is a pebbly beach approximately 300 metres from the accommodation with lovely views over to the mainland.
Within a 10 minute walk from the hotel there are quite a few tavernas, there is a good coffee shop and bakery just across the road with a well stocked supermarket next door but one. The bus stop in either direction is a two minute walk away and it is two Euros into either Lefkada town or Nidri. We were there in early season so whilst the service was adequate during the day it did finish quite early in the evening. There is a QR code to scan at the local bus stop which gives the timetable. We visited Lefkada town a couple of times in the evening and a taxi back to the hotel was 10 Euros.
In summary, if you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful, quiet holiday in well appointed and well maintained studios with a host who goes out of her way to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay, then look no further than Christina Studios. Highly recommended.

We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing 11 nights at the Christina and now, sitting back at home reflecting on a fabulous experience, would gladly recommend to anyone, feeling it was the most relaxing family holiday I have had in years. To start with the more functional reasons, the accommodation is spotless, the pool area bountiful of sun beds, the nearest shop only two doors down and the other essential local amenities all within walking distance. Lefkada town only a short bus ride away and, at €1.60 on the bus or €10 to jump a taxi, it is very accessible, there is plenty of other options if you feel like venturing further than the local Lygia restaurants.
As other reviewers have made reference, it is the welcoming atmosphere at the hotel, provided by Christina, Spiros and the team, that makes this a significant cut above. Upon leaving, it felt more like we had stayed with family and friends, rather than people we had only met 11 days prior. They are wonderfully welcoming, brimming with pride about their hotel and locality, providing every opportunity for you to feel at ease and like a much cherished guest who is gratefully received, valued at every point.
My daughter in particular, was fussed over as if one of their own, hugged on departure, fueling all in our party to rebook for next year, which we did, almost immediately, once our bags were unpacked and the obligatory wash was on and wine in hand.
Christina, we can’t that you and Spiros enough for a lovely holiday and look forward to seeing you next year!!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home. Christina and Spyros are the perfect hosts, as are all the family. We are a family of three adults and three teenagers, so we had three studios on the ground floor facing the pool. All the rooms were very clean and spotless, which are cleaned every day, and towels and sheets changed every other day. Breakfast is available, with a varied choice of cereals, meats, cheese and pastries, and some cooked items, and not forgetting the pancakes. The pool is large and excellent, especially on the very hot days. The pool bar serves cold drinks and snacks, and are reasonably priced. Ligia has quite a few tavernas and restaurants, and a couple of bars (we recommend the Arts Club) that serve until very late. Buses are available to take you to Lefkada town, or a taxi is around 10 euros. Also you can take the bus to Nidri, about 15/20 minutes. I would recommend hiring a car if you want to see the rest of the island, where the better beaches are.
Christina is very helpful, and happy to see to all your needs, and works very hard to give all her guests a memorable stay. Spiros, although he doesn’t speak English, is a very good man, and very funny. All they, and the family ask in return , is a little respect
I can’t recommend Christina Studios enough, this is our second visit and hopefully not our last.
Thank you Christina and Spyros

We stayed at Christina Studios in September 22. Christina, the host was very welcoming and the place in very relaxing. Pool bar is ok with drinks and snacks available. Decent sized pool with ample sun beds. Room was good and comfortable with cooking facilites if needed. However our room (No.7) faced a busy road but got used to the noise of traffic and the double glazed doors kept the room quiet. Aircon available for an additional price. Overall accommodation is of a high standard for Greece. (Nothing falling apart or in need of repair and well maintained and clean). Even the WC by pool was immaculate and had a shower. Continental breakfast available with fried eggs and bacon if wanted. €4.
Overall I would recommend a stay here with easy access to local restaurants, small harbour and bus stops to get you into nearby twons of Nydri and Lefkada. Good for adults.

As soon as we arrived and met Christina we knew right away that we were going to have a fabulous holiday. We had one of the best studios we have ever stayed in Greece overlooking the pool. Lovely tiled bathroom, very comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The pool is very clean with plenty of sunbeds around it and the surrounding area is beautifully maintained, a credit to Christina and her staff.
Christina is always on hand to answer any questions and assist in any way she can. Breakfast was a mixture of continental and cooked with plenty of meat, cheese, fruit, yogurt and lots of yummy pastries, she even made pancakes a few times. The bar area was lovely and Christina would make typical Greek dishes for lunch to order.
The rooms were cleaned everyday, towel change every second day and the beds twice a week
To sum up we had a very relaxing and peaceful holiday at Christina's Studios and would highly recommend it.

Hi, we couldn't get a superior studio but would think they are good. They are across the road from main facilities but no distance at all and don't think a problem. Our standard studio in main block was perfectly adequate but the shower was quite small. Cleaned & beds made every day so quite happy. As there are studios of both sorts overlooking the road which can be busy, suggest you request studio at rear of property. Didn't hear any complaints however from anyone and think you will find Christina the owner very helpful. We emailed Christina a couple of weeks before holiday to request quiet room. Enjoy your holiday

If you have facebook look up "christina studios" christina will answer your questions re cots, but there are a few little restraints within walking distance some along the beach front some along the road. We favoured koutouki restaurant great food and pleasant company.... if you are looking for bars or night life you need to go to nidri or lefkada town,
