I stayed here about 10 years ago and amazingly remembered almost nothing about the place except this beautiful wooden playground for kids which, alas, they have mostly removed. Anyway, my kids have since grown and they continued to really like this property. We had two connecting junior suites with park views, which is fine because hardly any of the rooms here actually see the lake with a real view because the hotel is set back far from the lake. I wouldn't bother to pay for a lake view here. The indoor pool and gym are excellent and there are some cool amenities in the gym such as this basketball coordination training game. There is a bathing suit spinner as well. Showers in the spa are very good. Food here is a big plus, and our dinner in the lobby brasserie was one of the best meals of our 2 week trip across Europe. The risotto was outstanding and so were the desserts. Yes, the F&B is expensive but it's no more than a Manhattan restaurant and the quality is in the top 10% with some food flair that goes beyond the average at this level. Breakfast here is also strong and eggs come out perfectly timed. Pre-arrival concierge was helpful and we found the place very classy but without snooty staff. We asked to be seated in the Chinese restaurant for dessert and the manager seated us, and other managers were very nice about assisting us throughout our stay. The theme throughout the resort is of an African safari with a touch of shishi such as a DJ in the evenings on the weekends. The location is not within walking distance of central Geneva; the boat ride is a lot of fun and saves you a $35 taxi ride which can take 20 minutes during the business day. Hotel is less than a 10 minute ride from the airport. I really like this place if you are coming to Geneva and want a resort experience just outside the city. The place is beautifully decorated and the outdoor scenery is very relaxing. Instead of reserving a room overnight in case of an early morning check-in, consider crashing off an overnight flight at an airport hotel such as the Movenpick at GVA.

Hotel's Favorite
Hotel is truly outstanding, there is little which needs improvement. Some parts of the Hotel could need refurbishment, Price Value needs to be maintained. Overall a very nice stay, of you have overcome the shock for the bill.

It was great ! I loved the fresh food the variety of choices how polite and quiet the staff is. You can have a meeting in one side. And someone els plays piano in another side and you won’t hear it. The Indian forest inspired theme is breath taking

First off, a bit of expectation modification is helpful. This is a predominantly two-story hotel with a few rooms on the third floor. I booked the highest room category that didn’t have “suite” in the name (Deluxe Room with Lake View). There were only two of us and we didn’t think we need the extra space. When we arrived around 7:30 pm we were assigned the only remaining “Deluxe Room with Lake view”. We were underwhelmed and disappointed. See the attached photo. This might have been a “deluxe” room depending on one”s standards but not a deluxe lake view. We were also disappointed when we realized there were no windows that opened in our room and didn’t feel comfortable sleeping with the door to a ground floor patio open. We were looking forward to a break from AC with the cool evening air in Lake Geneva and surrounds. We were reassigned to a 3rd floor Deluxe Room with Lake View the 2nd night and the view of the lake was much better but there are very view rooms with what I would call “deluxe lake views”. The hotel is hip but not exclusively so. The best plus is the complimentary Riva boat transport to the central lakefront area of Geneva. The staff is awesome. The hotel decor is exquisite. The pool is fabulous. So, stay here. Ask for a third floor room. Please note room 308 is configured for those with disabilities so if you are sensitive to that request another while if you need that request 308. We would stay here again.

although our stay was excellent, it left a very bad taste due to fact our airpods "disappeared" from one of our bags inside the safe storage room. even though we have proof because we can track the airpods, the hotel claims its our fault and that we lost them.... their response after having to send them 10 emails and reminders...: "we have to consider the possibility that your airpods pro have fallen / get lost after your departure from the hotel, even if we can all attest that they were in the hotel at 1.26 pm the day of your departure with your luggage." very poor behaviour towards a regular client!

I have lived and traveled pretty much anywhere, and never has it been so evident as in this place that you are treated based on who you are and how much money you have. If you have a room your good, by all means, you can afford to stay there. But if go here for a $100 lunch, don´t expect to get any type of service that is close to what you get if you as a woman arrive here with a wealthy person. I have been here twice. Once with a man where I was treated amazingly as they thought I was his girlfriend, but as a woman alone I was treated the complete opposite. It´s beyond superficial. Also, the air condition inside the upper level is so noisy that having coffee there is not a relaxing experience. And then the expresso you pay $6 or whatever it is, is from a machine! So you don´t even get real Italian expresso at this place that is supposed to be high-end. I had better coffee down in the city of Geneva. But all in all, what one never forgets is how the staff measures you up and down, and how talk to you, including the people at the door based on your wealth or not. This place isn´t genuine. I won´t be back even if can easily do the $100 lunch alone. Because it doesn´t support any values of treating people the same. Pluss the $6 espresso in what is suppose to be a high-end place is terrible..

This hotel is heavily advertised as a family resort and they do indeed try hard. However, if you come to this place with your young kids who are hungry on different times than you and you actually want to enjoy your stay you are also dependent upon it being possible to eat a samdwich by the pool and enjoy a drink while watching the kids. At the moment my best tip if you’re going there with kids is to grab a sandwich at the ENI station nearby the hotel to avoid to have to choose from spending a couple of hours in the room waiting for room service or having to take your kids to the restaurant. I do understand the lack of service was due to the hotel being short of staff, but with several people working by the pool anyway it would have been no problem to organise room service deliveries of simple lunch boxes to the pool. Also charging almost CHF 600 for a return trip to Geneva with a boat or is a very good way of making sure the service is only used by people who do not think at all about what they are buying. Those two items in particular is not what you expect from a five star hotel who already charges top dollar for the rooms.

The setting remains lovely but service is what it is and the rooms are getting quite tired…. Not even having a usb socket in a hotel of this level is really quite backwards nowadays. The bar/restaurant areas remain lovely and good but the concierge and the rooms and the hotel part really let the property down.

Starting with the concierge, they were very organized and my bag went to my room as well as a couple of bags filled with some items I bought on my way to the hotel. Reception was very kind and professional as well. The management was very generous by sending me fresh treats to my room on daily basis, while the massage in their spa was so relaxing and refreshing at the same time. I would definitely return, recommend, and use this hotel.

I stayed with a friend for a spa weekend. The hotel is fabulous, rooms are very well appointed with luxury decor and everything that you could need. The hotel is minutes from the beautiful lake and an easy 30 mins or so walk into the centre of Geneva. The spa is fantastic with a beautiful indoor and outdoor pool with lovely views of the lake. The main bar is lovely and we ate in all of the restaurants as we had dinner included, the food is fabulous here, the Japanese sensational, excellent cocktails, incredible wine list and all round top class customer service. Not cheap but well worth it for a treat, we would definitely return again.
