We came, found a note on the reception window that the key was in the door. The hostess turned up after two days. All talk about service, tennis, wineyard and selling of local wine was bull, there was nothing and never staff in the reception. The room was okey and well equipped in the kitchen part. If you don’t have car it’s hard match to get up there. But... the view and surroundings are amazing!
We, two families with 10-year old children, were very happy that we've chosen La Brujita for our stay during the short trip to El Hierro. The location is excellent to explore the island. And after the day of hiking or driving across the island it is good to relax in the pool. Or to have a dinner at the open terrace with remarkable view. In our apartments we had all we needed - comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. The furniture is a bit dated but it wasn't a problem. The only negative point was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom but it is usual for old canarian "casas rurales". The whole place is clean and green, fruit trees and flowers are everywhere. I can recommend La Brujita for all travellers who don't like "formal" hotels.
