Pools are pretty but are nothing special. Food is horrible. Staff is nice. I do not recommend coming here for an authentic experience. Just another touristy spot. I am disappointed. I would rather go to a natural hot spring.

I went only to the pools and the hotel, but with that being said, the pools are good, the drinks at the bar are good but a little bit overpriced, and the buffet is good with a good variation. I would recommend this trip as a morning trip to relax. The views of the Arenal Volcano from the resort are... More

We decided to stay at Baldi, instead of staying another night at our hostel in town, and doing a day trip. There was not a massive price difference given the daily admission cost plus taxi, and so decided to treat ourselves. To be honest, we needn't have bothered with staying at the hotel. It offered very little benefit (aside from... More

We stopped by on a Monday and the crowds were substantially less, we visited for a tour on Sunday and many more kids and people in the pools. We did not buy the buffet since we went early afternoon and decided to get a snack instead. Food is only available in the lobby bars and the quality was OK, but... More

We stopped here as part of an excursion. The good - the hot springs and gardens are beautiful The bad - while towels are free subject to a $10 deposit there is a $6 charge to use a locker. Also the bar prices are all stated in dollars yet change is given in colons. I appreciate it is the local... More

Located a few hours away from Juan Santamaría International Airport, Baldi has an excellent view of Arenal Volcano. The accommodations are nice and comfortable. 25 swimming pools and 4 slides will make you have a lot of fun. Prices are pretty high, compared to places around the area.

Baldi was our 3rd stop on our 16 day trip. I have to say that driving up to the property we felt like this was a great choice. The lobby is modern and you can immediately see several of the pools, it feels like luxury. I can't say the same for the rooms. They are very worn and unfortunately for... More

This place is awesome.Nothing else like it. If you are in costa rica do an excursion in Arenal and stay here to relax after. Head up drinks at the top of Springs are expensive. Room was nice and clean. There is a store not down the road. I wish this amazing place existed in the US.

One of a kind experience. Wide variety of natural water springs, sauna, Jacuzzi and water slides. More for couples. Exotic lighting. Women love it. 2:1 outnumbered men. Kids are there as well. We did not stay at the resort. Buffet is decent. Friendly staff. Pack light, else u pay for a locker at 6$. Clean. Well kept

This beautiful resort is located in the volcanic region of Costa Rica.July in this country is autumn. Everywhere was green, weather temperature was just right and sometime during the day there was some rain but it does stop anybody to have fun. More than 20 pools with gorgeous designs with different temperatures for all choices plus water slides for kids... More
