In the afternoon on one of the hottest September days (9/9/23) I can recall, we waited 40 mins for a drink Our restaurant Table that was booked months in advance for 7:30 was not there and had to be made up. Sat down at 7:45. Order wasn’t taken until..8:05. After being “given” two bottles of water as small compensation for the excessive wait time, by the chap who we assumed was supposed to be “managing” the restaurant and who I voiced my complaints to, his female colleague who appeared to be one of the few staff doing any work involved in actually taking orders and delivering food to customers, came over to our table and, apologising for the presence of two bottles of water we had not ordered, promptly took them away. My wife fetched a pepper mill from another table which unfortunately someone had spilled some unknown liquid into, and without realising, seasoned her carpaccio with an unpleasant brown liquid. For some reason we paid for our meal. In hindsight we should not have. The few staff on duty failed to communicate with, or support each other, and seemed to be prioritised in favour of a wedding party over regular customer service. We saw at least two other couples walk out. Our apartment had the smell of dogs and the shower totally flooded the bathroom due I assume to a blocked drain. Also the bins had not been emptied since the previous occupiers left which begs questions about the quality of cleaning. Finally Hotels.com who we booked through, states that there are 20 units on site whereas there are nearly 100. So not as quiet as one might expect. We shall not be returning…

Wonderful setting and nice lodges. Shame that nobody told us at the time of reservation that the restaurant on site is closed during our stay. Also in the early afternoon families and an extraverted young crowd from outside the resort settled the private (?) beach. Lots of noise in the otherwise calm and beautiful setting. Cleanliness is not top!

I spent here a weekend with my wife in this very relaxing place. The apartment is really well fitted with all the equipments. It has a private beach and it is located is recluse area away from the city. Perfect for relax

Pros: beautiful location, really nicely designed villas, fully equipped. Cons: not clean (dirty foors, dust, pet fur from previous visitors). Maybe the latter was just bad luck, but we are not visiting again.

We stayed at the resort the last week of April this year. We had villa number 13 which is right on the tip and almost has a strip of private beach. The villa itself is stunning, very modern and has views of water all round. The amenities in the villa are great, you get a full kitchen, washing machine and two bathrooms. The restaurant is okay, but the service was very slow and my 5 year old niece had to wait a long time for her food as they forgot her order. Having said that we sat there one afternoon on the terrace and it was lovely even though not yet very warm. For kids there is a playground and trampoline park which seems very popular. Unfortunately you can't part next to the villa so the walk to the car is a bit of a trot, however, you can drive up to drop off which makes it a bit easier. The one thing that could be imprved is refuse collection. You have to walk your bin bags from the house to the car park of having smelling rubbish in your car in order to get rid of this. It would better if there was a regular collection from the villa especially given what you pay to stay there. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It is only a 5 minute drive from Ouddorp where you have shops and restaurants. All in all would highly recommend…

We booked a 2 person studio. The studio is small, but nice. Unfortunately it is build directly next to another studio and if you sit on your terrace and the neighbours are sitting outside, too, you almost sit next to each other. Very little privacy. A separation of some kind would have been nice. But it's a nice resort on a beautiful location and very friendly staff.

We rented number 14 very clean, comfortable, modern and a lot of space. We rented for 4 days at Christmas, very quite, peacful. This beach resort looks like being a very busy noisy place in the summer. Certainly NOT wheelchair friendly or for older people that have difficulty walking. DO NOT EAT AT THE RESORT RESTRAURANT ( WERELDS AAN HET STRAND)

Although more people are visiting us in the Summer, it is not necessarily a busy and noisy place. It is true, that the resort is not the most wheelchair friendly place, we also highlight this fact on our website. When designing the villas this was not really taking into consideration. Apparently, you did not have a nice experience at the Restaurant. We are sorry to hear about that. With the family we rented two Villa`s number 13 and 14 which are located perfectly direct at the Grevelingenmeer. When walking out you are one a few steps away from the water. The villa`s are new and very luxurious with 2 nice bathrooms. Nr 14 had a Bath which Nr13 did not have. Nr. 14 has more interior decorations and it looks really nice. Unfortunate because we were here in the autumn we had a storm but this resulted is a nice view of the rough water. In the summer this location is absolutely fabulous with beaches located at every Villa at the outside and a bigger beach in the inner circle. We absolutely advise this resort to families! The restaurant Werelds aan het strand is highly recommended as the food is very nice and the staff friendly.

We were very fortunate to spend a couple of weeks at De Punt during the sunny August and September days that we recently enjoyed. The resort is quite new and built on reclaimed land, so expect lots of sand, pretty dunes and shallow but very clear water on the border of Grevelingenmeer. Perfect for families with children, super safe sandy beaches. The villas are finished to a very high standard with a great kitchen. There is good WiFi available. The reception staff was extremely friendly and very professional. Even our newspaper was hand delivered! Thank you - you all made our stay fantastic. Werelds aan Zee is the beach club at the centre of this small resort. Good food, nice wines and plenty of lounging. Choose the location of your Villa wisely and keep in mind there will be some noise coming from the beach club. Although you can't always avoid noise pollution... Bear in mind the higher numbers are quite close together and you can be unlucky with your neighbours. We had a 50'th birthday party next-door in #57 and we were up until early morning because of the loud music, loud talking and the party lights.…

Even though the resort is not completely finished, the location, the settings and the integration with the nature are great. The quality of the beach villas is amazing! We spent one week for a family reunion in Punt-West. Very good choice! We had two Deluxe villas for 6 and 4 people facing the inner lake. The living rooms are very spacious and we could accommodate everybody to have meals together. The children had lots of fun playing on the sand and in the nearby water. The resort is car-free, what is great with children. Everybody had fun! We look forward to coming back in spring or summer.
