We hoped that as this was a centre parks it would be similar to the centre parks in the UK, however this was not the case. The accommodation was very small and in a beach hut style, so hard floors and wooden furniture, very minimal. We hoped we wouldn't be spending too much time in there because of all the...

We decided last minute to take the kids away for half term. We looked at Center Parcs in the UK and it was UNBELIEVABLY expensive...then I read online about Center Parcs in Europe tending to be lower cost (terrible euro exchange rate notwithstanding) and indeed it was - around 1/3 of the price. Partly due to their standard costs, and...

Having never been to Center Parcs before, we went with an open mind - the difference in price being the deciding factor for choosing Holland over U.K. parks. Our children are 11, 9 and 4 and had a brilliant time, they enjoyed many of the paid activities and we made use of the additional tokens for use at the Park....

We paid extra to go into a refurbished, premium cottage on the waterfront, No 223. The location was perfect and the cottage was great. We had a lovely view directly over the water at the boats in the Marina. It had a nice and clean, modern feel about it. The heating worked really well, everything felt new and clean and...

Port Zelande We stay for a week travelling via the overnight ferry. Easy place to find. The welcome team were friendly and informative. The cottages looked tired, but were clean and tidy. There was a welcome pack at the cottage and bed sheets. There are plenty of activities to do including, a swimming pool area which has kiddies area, a...

Lovely location! And don't miss Neeltje Jans! We went for a family reunion and took 3 cottages in a group. The place is (I think although I have fairly limited experience of CP) a pretty typical CenterParcs set up - hundreds of properties on a site of significant size, and a central "services" area with bike rental, swimming pool /...

Unfortunately, we didn't have the best holiday in Centerparcs Port Zelande; mostly because of the weather, which was colder than normal for that time of the year. There were many rainy and cold days. On the other hand, I didn't like that they don't offer housekeeping services during your stay there; so, we had to clean our villa durin mg...

We have had experience of Center Parcs in the UK and this was our first time at a parc abroad. It is very relaxed, not overly busy (UK Bank Holiday weekend) and the staff were very helpful and polite. Accommodation was clean and had all we needed. We had a comfort cottage for 6 people (3 floors) and a balcony...

I travel all over the world for a living and have spent many a great holiday in the UK and abroad. With my younger children Center Parcs UK is the destination of choice and we have been there countless times - but prices in the UK are quite frankly ridiculous during the summer months. So we decided after a recommendation...

So in Port Zelande you are faced with free swimming everyday on slides and coasters along with pools. Other than this everything is SO expensive, the shop, and every possible exercise. However, not all activities are listed on the timetable you get, for instance (as I found out) table tennis is also free, could could save 70 euro an hour...
