We spent three night in this hotel. Clean style, in front of Mylopotas beach and with a good restaurant. We loved the sun-beds in the beach and the food. Very kind waiters. It is a Typical Cycladic hotel and it is so cute. You will appreciate it!!
While staying there, we had two different rooms. One had a nice balcony but you could hardly see the sea. The other one had a little terrace which was a bit exposed and the garden view was essentially a wall-view. Rooms were okay. Cheap equipment (bathroom, shower etc.) but very clean. Pool-aera very okay but they could put some plants to prevent looking at the garbage bins… Good food at the restaurant. VERY nice staff there! The beach is just great. It‘s a two minutes walk to the sand and the blue waters of the Aegean..
Great beachfront hotel, among the best in the island. The outside look is in typical Ios style, the breakfast is large and very good and the service is perfect! We appreciated a lot the facilities that the hotel offers to its guests such transfer from/to the port, sunbeds in Mylopotas and lunch & dinner at Almyra by the sea. The food out there is GREAT!!! Try out the savory pancakes or the potatoes with churizo, I promise you won’t regret it! There is a rental just beside the corner so if you feel like you want to go explore, you can get your vehicle in a minute with no needs to drive back to the port or to the Chora. There is a peaceful atmosphere inside and if you don’t feel to go to the sea you can still enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool. There is even a little one for the kids. We felt absolutely relaxed and well treated so I definitely recommend it to everyone looking for a good place where to stay in Ios! …
We really enjoyed our stay! 5 stars for the amazing staff and the gorgeous food! The hotel is set back from the beach which means you can escape the noise but you are close enough to be able to walk to several lovely restaurants and get the bus around the island. You can also utilise free sunloungers on the beach with food and beverage brought to you which is a lovely idea. The hotel itself has a gorgeous pool area with plenty of space to relax and the food from the restaurant is just divine - we ate many a lunch and dinner at the hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was also very good with an omelette station and food to satisfy all tastes. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite - the room was clean and spacious but a little basic. I would suggest the hotel perhaps rename some of these rooms as we were expecting a bit more in terms of decor and furniture (for a 'deluxe' suite), however we had no real issues and plenty of space for 2 people. The hotel could also benefit from putting some sort of shade/an umbrella on the ground floor terraces though as we couldn't use ours much during our stay as the sun was incredibly hot which was a shame. The staff at the hotel are really some of the loveliest people we encountered on our 3 weeks travelling around Greece, they gave us everything we needed (including weights so I could workout!). We thought the hotel on the whole was fabulous. Highly recommend!…
Great service, beautiful pool and wonderful beach. Shout outs to Vikki (lady with the short hair at Al Myra) :) She was wonderful! Food was average but breakfast was satisfying and good quality. Still low season so we loved every minute of our experience.
I've traveled to many places in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. The people at this resort really made all the difference. It was by far some of the best service I've experienced. The staff really went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and to accommodate us to their best ability. The manager, bus driver, and bartender Romanis were all very sweet. The location was lovely, just on the beach. The rooms were really good, clean and basic but served their purpose and were comfortable. Everything was nearby and accessible. This island is a must-see and the resort is a must-visit.
I stayed at Dionysos with a group of friends for a week and we booked 4 rooms. A friend and I booked the double room with sea view and it was incredible. The bathroom was clean and recently renovated, the room was very nicely decorated and we also had a balcony which was surrounded by flowers and had an amazing view on the sea. We were very well received by Maria and were given recommendations on things we could do on the island. The breakfast + the Almyra restaurant were top notch and the pool area was very nice! The location of the hotel is also quite practical, it is on Mylopotas Beach (the best beach in Ios) which offers a variety of watersport activities and is also next to a bus station which has a regular bus that brings you to Chora. The service was probably one of the best I have ever experienced, as every time we had a little problem it was solved within 5 minutes. For example, once we couldn't manage to open the safe and the technician came and opened it for us. This technician was also responsible for the hotel transport and he deserves a special mention. On our last day, as he was driving us to the port, he made sure we had all enjoyed our stay and he soon realised that one member of the group was suffering from a hungover. Even though we thought we didn't have time to drop off by a pharmacy, he assured us we did and insisted we go. He personally went to the pharmacy with the affected person to make sure he would be recommended the correct medication. The cherry on top was when we arrived at the port he had the gesture of walking us to the agency where we could buy our ferry tickets. This hotel was outstanding in every way possible!!…
We stayed at Dionysos for a month and we had a great experience! Everybody at the hotel was super nice and friendly and our room was very nice and cozy!Even though the hotel is not directly on the beach(which none of the hotels are on this island) it's very close and has a private path to the beach. The owners are always present at the property which shows they really care about the quality of their hotel and the services their staff provide to the guest. Their restaurant, Almyra, is also one of the best restaurants on the island with a really good ambiance. I travel full time and I definitely recommend this hotel!
Everything was perfect from the arrival to the departure. The hotel arranged transport from/to the port. We had a nice suite with a private pool (we didn't use it the main pool and the private beach where absolutely fabulous). Can't beat the location, right on a perfect sandy beach. The Almyra restaurant that we used for breakfast and lunch at the beach was exceptional also. It was a wonderful stay in Ios for us and our 4 daughters and we will definitely come back!
We've been at Dionysos Seaside Resort from 6 to 20 August 2020 of this unusual summer. Located on gorgeus Mylopotas Beach the Resort is really beautiful: Nice and very clean rooms, all the staff is friendly and professional at the meantime, After few hours you start to feel home like in family. Private beach with umbrellas and sunbeds is just few steps from the location with bar and food service, The Almyra Resturant serves typical Greeek food of very high quality. We couldnt ask more for our holidays. Thank you so much for everything. We'll return for sure. Monica & Andrea
