We stayed here for 4 nights. It’s a lovely clean and very friendly hotel. It’s small which is what we like. Staff are great. Breakfast was nice. I have to mention the maids!!!! Apparently my folding of my clothes was not up to scratch so she refolded them lol, this was just a lovely touch the hotel. Made me smile :). Pool area is nice and quiet. Lovely to take a dip in and cool off after a busy day. The hotel arranged a quad bike for us, which I recommend to anyone wanted to adventure out. My only real criticism of the hotel is the shower cubicle is very small and is right next to the toilet. I mean you literally shower with the toilet. But don’t let this put you off. I will definitely return here.
The hotel is very comfy, very clean and perfect spot if you are looking for a place to relax, away from noisy crowded streets. The employees were very kind and provided us helpful info about the places to visit in the island
This family-run hotel is on the edge of an interesting town overlooking both coastlines. The hotel is spread over 3 or 4 low built buildings surrounding a central garden planted with flowers and fragrant herbs. Some rooms have verandas onto this. We stayed here for 3 nights, travelling by ferry from Eos. We were given a warm welcome, found the rooms clean and comfortable, with high ceilings and quietly air conditioned. Breakfast was varied, cereal, yoghourt, fruit, cheese, meats, several types of bread etc. Also an attractive salt controlled pool. Irene was a most attentive host and we were pleased to be away from the chaos of Sera. Attractive family restaurants close by and the adjacent bus stop sees buses every 1/2 hr to Sera. The Museum of Ancient Akrotiri (c. 2,000BC), a must-see, is within a 15 minute walk.…
Family owned hotel in the quiet area of Akrotiri. Small, clean, perfect. The owners were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were basic, but clean with own balcony, double bed, small tv, hairdryer in the bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space. The only small gripe is that the shower was a bit awkward to manoeuvre in, the shower curtain sticks to you and there are no shelves to keep your shower gel and shampoo etc. The rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast was simple but substantial, bread, butter, jam, boiled eggs, ham & cheese tea/coffee, cakes/biscuits, Greek yoghurt with honey. Breakfast was served outside in front of hotel which was a lovely area to sit in in the morning. At the time of our stay the hotel was quiet, we pretty much had the pool to ourselves and it was amazing. As mentioned in other reviews, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel and buses to Thira were every half an hour (word of advice when the bus comes get on it quickly and find a seat as the bus does not wait for you to sit down before it moves off. The conductors (not the friendliest people) will come round to take your money when you are seated 2 euros each way to Thira). The area of Akrotiri is lovely and quiet with a local shop and a few restaurants, a car hire/excursion place and a pharmacy. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we visit Santorini again.…
What a fantastic place this is, picturesque surrounded by vine yards, excellent room spotlessly clean and own balcony, excellent breakfast, bus stop at the front of hotel giving easy and cheap access to the rest of the island, just a few minutes walk to the fantastic Tavernas in the village of Akrotiri and lovely walk to the prehistoric village and sea front, as for the owners, simply wonderful people always got a smile and so helpful, I miss them already, hope to get back soon.
