We had a good time. Very quiet place. Only adult people young and less young ones as guests. Very friendly team. Good shuttle to the beach. Also at disposal a free smartphone for your calls. We had expected a little bit more of Greek cuisine. Located a the top of an hill. Good place for relaxing.

We have just returned from a week staying at Keri Village. Lovely hotel - can’t fault it really, staff were so friendly and helpful, good food with good options to choose from. The Spa is good, I would recommend a massage, the two ladies that work there are lovely. some areas of the hotel could do with a spruce up as it does look a bit tired In Places although it didn’t affect out stay. The only thing I would recommend be installed is a hand rail down to the toilets which is located on the ground floor and perhaps some more washrooms installed by the pool area. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so if you want to get out and about you would need a car. The mini bus from the hotel does do regular trips too and from Keri beach throughout the day. Thank you to all the staff at Keri Village for making our stay so pleasant!

This was our 3rd visit in 4 years and we probably regretted not coming last year. It was lovely that the staff still remembered us from our previous visits. Again we could not complain about the room lovely and spacious with a wet room / toilet. Again the food was superb with so much variety that will cater for all tastes. The soups were great again and different every lunch and dinner. All the meats were cooked well and in different ways. The pork in plum sauce was to die for. As with previous years no issues with sunbeds round the pool plenty to go round. It was nice to have the addition of music from the pool bar as well. As usual Micheal and his staff work hard to please you and work so hard from early in the morning to gone midnight. I have seen reviews stating how isolated it is and the food is repetitive. Yes it is out of the way but if the kind of holiday you want is quiet and relaxing then this is the place for you. Don’t come here if you want nightlife and hectic days if you do don’t moan about it on here do your research first. I personally didnt find the food repetitive as most days you have a choice of all meats and fish cooked in different ways. There even do chips everyday for those people who can’t live without them. It probably could do with more entertainment on an evening but to be honest we had a good laugh with returning friends we met previously and new friends we made during this holiday. Sometimes it is nice having a few drinks and a chat. We loved our 3rd visit here and will certainly be returning next year. Thank you to all the Keri team for a truly relaxing week.

Firstly, we have to say how great the staff were at the Keri Village Hotel. This goes from the super hardworking and polite restaurant and bar staff to the Manager, Mike, who never stopped working. We arrived after only booking the hotel two weeks previously, for a 5 night break. The hotel is completely all-inclusive and has what we thought to be a good range of local and European foods. Some guests thought the food selection was below par, but when you can have pasta dishes or locally caught octopus and shrimp, we're happy with the latter thank you!! Desserts were fab too! Rooms: Whilst we did email ahead to say that there was a wheelchair user guest, we did seem to have them a little on the back foot on arrival, Mike the manager though pulled out all the stops and we ended up with what felt like a newly renovated room with rollin shower. It was a standard loo, but a good height off the floor. All in all, we had a great room for my husband to roll around in. Having done our research, we knew the hotel had a steep ramp to the only entrance to reception and restaurant / bar and boy, is it steep. There was an open offer from the hotel in any assistance to get up the ramp but we did manage in reverse, most would struggle though as an independent pusher. Mike however, did reassure us that following other guests comments a separate ramp to the restaurant areas was on order but delayed from the manufacture. That said, the complex is good to get around as a walker / wheeler with ramps in most places. The small complex is in the beautiful rolling Zante hills and as such, be mindful you won't be going to most place without the use of transport, but there is a beach / village shuttle running several times a day. The pool area is great and spotlessly clean and we never had an issue getting a sun bed. The pool is actually a better size than we thought it would be from the images, and is 3.1m deep! The only downside is that it can be a little tricky getting in and out if you have mobility probs, but the shallow end is about 0.8m. We touched on cleanliness earlier and this, for us, was one of the hotels best qualities. It was spotless, from the poolside cleaned every night, to the rooms and the restaurant etc, all kept amazingly tidy and clean. Your plates, for example, were removed from the table as soon as you had finished by the pleasant staff. Again, a credit to the management of the hotel. There are a few things that we would suggest on reflection for a 4star, but these would be minor, such as bigger reusable water bottles for the room (no bottled water provided, which is good in todays eco society) and there are plenty of places to get water on site, in cups. A few more tv channels, not that we wanted to watch tv all day, but it will be to the liking of some tastes and expectations; and finally a €3 charge (but moreover) a €10 deposit for the pool towels. Whilst, we don't want to be picky on these niggles, they are some points raised by other guests in passing, so we only thought it right to mention to the hotel. In all, we found the Keri Village to be a great hotel, run and staffed by great people. The price we paid for our last min break made it a fab 5 nights and the only other money we spent was €50 to extend the room for late checkout and another €40 on tips at the end of our stay! Big thanks to Mike and the rest of the Keri staff!

We hired a car as we knew that the hotel was in a remote location and it was an easy drive from the airport and took about 30 minutes. It is a small (48 rooms) complex. Everyone is all inclusive so you don’t have to wear a band. There were a lot of British guests at the hotel when we went and some of them were return customers. Check-in was easy and the staff friendly, they explained that each room had a smart phone that you could use for the duration of your stay and had free calls, texts, wife and date. We took the phone out with us so that we could use a map app as the road signs on Greek Islands are not up to much! There is a free shuttle mini- bus down to the beach which takes about 5-10 minutes and ran 4 times a day, we didn’t use this as we had the car. Our room was dark and cool (a bit like a cave), the only light coming in was from the door. There is an air conditioning unit in the room and we used this on the heating mode as the weather wasn’t that warm when we went at the beginning of May. The beds were very comfy and very large. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed. Our bathroom was a decent sized wet room. One thing to note is that we had to run the hot tap for sometimes 10 minutes until we had water hot enough to shower in. On the first night we boiled a kettle and just had a wash. There is shower gel and soap in a dispenser. There is a safe in the room that there is a charge to us and if you want a pool towel you have to leave a $10 deposit per towel. The room had a mini fridge, hairdryer, TV (the only English speaking channels were the news, it would have been nice to have more because there isn’t much entertainment in the evenings and the locality means there is nothing else to do) The bar area is as welcoming as an airport lounge with no atmosphere. You just sit in long lines facing each other. There was a TV that always had football showing. There was entertainment 3 evenings during our stay a singing duo called the Flying Roosters were excellent and entertained on two of the evenings and there was a Greek evening with dancing. The free wi-fi in public places was a bit hit and miss at times. The pool area had a lot of loungers around it and we never had a problem with people reserving them.. There were not many people using the pool but the water was freezing. We did not use the Spa The food was very good, extremely tasty and quite hot, some of the best food we have had abroad. The choice may not have been vast but what was there was wrth having. There was soup, a salad bar, cheeses and a choice of hot items. There was a good selection of deserts also. The wine was quite drinkable and we didn’t have a problem with the other drinks either. There was sometimes a wait for tables in the evening. The weather was windy and cool at the beginning of May so we couldn't just relax around the pool and managed to clock up 1000km on the hire car getting out and seeing the island. There was some lovely wild flowers and herbs and olive groves but on the whole the island is run down and there is a lot of rubbish (a sign of the times?) Overall I would recommend this hotel if you wanted to get away from it all completely and relax in very quiet surroundings, it really is as remote as they say! If you are someone who likes to see a bit of the place you are visiting or likes a walk in the evening with something to see it won’t be for you. It is definitely not for the young. I would have given 4-stars but the lack of entertainment in the evenings and the ambience in the lounge and lack of things to do reduced it to 3.
