The Hubertus Hof Landhotel and Restaurant is located eight hundred meters from the southern shore of Lake Balaton in a park forest. Our newly renovated (2016) rooms and suites can provide perfect relaxation for families and friends. In our famous a la carte restaurant, we offer angus beef from our own farm and seasonal dishes made from other localy fresh ingredients. You can even make a short break to us because our restaurant's door is open to everyone. The landhotel's concept is known mainly in Germany, so it is called hotels that were built on large farms and rural land. Our hotel also offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities, plus we are the perfect location and has a great lay out for family gatherings, team buildings, and small conferences or meetings. The huge forrest and wilderness around us attracts many hunters as well. We are pet friendly! Come and visit us!
A resort-style hotel set in a well-kept garden, under the shadow of old plane trees. The hotel claims to be 3*, however there are several elements that would justify a 4* category - spacious and nicely decorated room, free water and juice in the room replenished every day, a bathrobe, fresh towels for the pool, attentive staff that makes you feel welcome, etc. The stainless steel pool is very inviting, the whole area was very peaceful even in the peak season. The pride of the hotel is its restaurant serving Angus beef from their own cattle farm. We ate there 4 times, having tried both meat and veggie dishes and we liked everything. The only letdown for me was the lack of a proper lever espresso machine in the bar, and the mattress could have been better too. Balatonfenyves itself is a small, bit sleepy coastal village, with couple of beach buffets and a very nice yacht club. All in all, I’d love to come back one day.

Hubertus Hof is on the south side of Balatonfenyves in a quiet street at the edge of Nagyberek
My father has been going here for years and always recommends it, but this is the first time I've eaten here. Hubertus is a country hotel with excellent rooms and facilities and a restaurant to match. The room is well decorated and comfortable, and the service is prompt and friendly.
We had a fantastic pumpkin soup, venison with a homemade blueberry sauce which balanced sweetness and acidity perfectly. The potato dumplings were flavoured with wild garlic and very good too. My wife's braised beef was perfect, coming from Hubertus own herd of cattle. There's also a good selection of fish on the menu. The wine list has some local highlights, and good choices from around 10 euro about 30. The whole three course dinner for two with wine for less than 50 euro was good value for the excellent quality.
Since Hungary has low prices in general, and this is a bit more expensive, it doesn't get the attention it deserves, and that's a shame. There's very little as good along the southern shore of Lake Balaton.

Food and service arw always excellent. We come here for years and we never had bad food. Price is ok for this standart. They make also special vegetarian plates. On friday you can find actually special food made in the ofen. Excellent

Close Fonyod and Balaton lake in Hungary, in a nature park there are some little homes with private access. Restaurant is closed until March.

This place is just a real home away from home hotel, staff is super friendly yet professional. Our stay was very relaxing, used the pool also the go-karts, it is not crowded at all, perfect for families and for couples too. The food is also outstanding, highly recommended :)

We spent an unforgetable week in the Hubertus Hof in Balatonfenyves. We got an apartman (60sqm) in the main building. The quality of the furniture and the design in luxtury. Beside the beautiful layout, the great swimming pool, the high quality ping-pong table and the fantastic karts for the kids there are other important things to mention: Excellent food for breakfast and in the restaurant ( Great choice for veggies as well) and the kind and professional staff. Whatever request we had, they were Happy to help us. Thanx for everything! One more tip: take a bike and use it for local transport: to the beach, to the market or simple enjoy biking next to the Balaton!

We gathered here for a family wedding and it was quite magical. Large, comfortable rooms, beautiful grounds, free bikes, fabulous food, beautiful pool and all in this quiet, secluded setting. We were so well cared for, cannot recommend highly enough.

We only had dinner here - which was delicious:). They were very flexible about my wifes food intolerancy, and my little daugther's food (she's only 11 months). The only thing why I do not give a five is the staff - they are 'kinda nice', but e.g. nobody asked whether we liked the food or everything was all right etc. Worth to visit anyways.

An unusual hotel, with different small buildings in a large park. The interior of the main building is in perfect hunting-lodge style, with magnificent deer skulls hung everywhere on the walls. The restaurant offers good local wines and great local traditional dished, mainly meat. Tasted the deer, the wild boar, the roasted dick breast and everything was delicious. On the back there is a small swimming pool. The rooms are fairly big and very clean, some kind of small refurbishment could be useful to get a full score: the moquette looks a little old, the room would look better without it in my opinion. Very nice place to go with family or for a romantic trip, it is probably outstanding if you like hunting. Definitely to try if you like a nice meat dinner and a peaceful sleep afterwards.

They have different type of rooms. Simple smaller and big apartment also. The food is tasty like on Hungarian country side :-) excellent service and spa. Excellent place to discover Balaton lake. It is excellent for business or bigger groups also. They have football field what we use all the time.
