The spa is a good price/performance value (we had a relax package) and the spa staff friendly and helpful but the facilities are a bit worn out and not kept up to date. The hotel itself beeing an old castle has a romantic touch and potential, but the staff - with some exceptions - are doing very little to make you feel good. They did not provide relevant information about our stay. Our room was not very clean and the bathroom rather dirty. The cleaning ladies visited but did nothing to improve the state. The food was not tasty and the quality varied. It seems there is a need to run the hotel at the minimum of cost which is a pity.

What a magnificent building and gorgeous grounds. I couldn't stop taking photo's - the walls and ceilings were all so decorative and the spiral wrought iron staircase, well I'd never stayed in a place that could accommodate one of those. Although most of the staff don't speak English, they do know sign language and we got along OK - one of the waitresses knew a little. On the Saturday morning we were treated with homemade crepes with the chef cooking them on the terrace - they were delicious. Our room looked on to the wonderful gardens which we strolled through after our dinner on Saturday night - very interesting were the old war bunkers still buried deep in the garden. We sussed that it was also a rehabilitation centre and residential home but that part was kept separate from the hotel. The room itself was good, bright and airy and that bathroom was the biggest I have ever been treated to in an hotel, good shower etc. I even managed to ask for a hairdryer from the receptionist - amazing what you can get across!!

Hi I visited this hotel 18/11/2014. I arraived at 18:00 and outside was night already. Castle look nice and receiption also looks ald and nice. After check in we went directly to restaurant because kitchen works only until 19:00. We ordered one salat and baked spicy pork with vegetable. Salat and my food ware not tasty. From pork I felt burned meat. Regarding rooms - room was realy big maybe more than 25 squere meter. BUt furniture look chip and old. Morning I had shower and water was very diffuclt to set up. Warm water made that water flowed slowly or better say water din´t flow. So..I can say it is nice place but for long time they haven´t repair anything, this hotel is only for old peaple from czech republic without big requirments for rooms or restaurant. Welness or spa I can not erate. because I didn´t use it.
