The relatively hotel offers privacy in its newly fournished rooms in two separate buildings. It is a good place for year round activities including skiing in winter and hiking in other seasons of the year. The restaurant offers a variety of meals, including specialities of the local kitchen. There is a swiming pool and wellnes with sauna available..

We stayed for two nights at the end of the summer season so the hotel was quiet and virtually empty. The staff were very welcoming and paid great attention to fact that we only speak a little Czech e.g. printing out an information sign in English especially for us. The rooms are simple and clean. We asked for one with a balcony, which was a good idea as we slept soundly with the door open letting in cool, fresh mountain air - a relief from air conditioning! The night sky was crystal clear and we had an amazing view of the stars and the Milky Way. Coming from London, with all its light pollution, this was an awe-inspiring sight. The breakfast was typical for a simple Czech hotel with limited, but enough, choice. We didn't try the restaurant. The Dlouhé Stráně reservoir is definitely worth a visit and this was a great hotel to stay in. It may be helpful for others to know that in summer the Reception was in the Lower Building and if possible you should park in the middle level carpark to access it, otherwise there are a lot of steps to go up as the hotel is on a steep hillside.

hotel in "retro" style, (but still renovate) with very good restaurant. Hotel is divided between two buildings - in upper one you can find sauna, in lower one is restaurant. If you are looking for standard hotel for cheap price - Dlouhe Strane is a good choice

The only advantage is the location which is clise the all ski slopes in the area. For the rest ... very expensive for such an old hotel, with poor service, old dirty bathrooms, no cleaning during 2 days of our room, awful food in the restaurant, and a wellness center which has nothing about wellness (just a cold swimming pool and whirlpool, crowded of kids). Never again.

This hotel is from comunism age, still rebuilding and renovate. Restaurant there is excellent! Smaller new pool, whirlpool and electric sauna are pleasant for relax. Unfortunatelly all building is made from metal-concrete material an it cause not good soundproofed rooms, you can hear your neighboors in next and above room and corridor. Good distance to skiarea Kouty, about half kilometer. Hotel is in the middle nature with only driveway to hotel. You can make there many outdoor activites.
