our family ( 2 adults and 3 kids) had 4 nights on Hydra and were overwhelmed with this beautiful island. Bratera was a great little hotel, so well located to the port and restaurants. We absolutely loved this hotel with its old sponge diving history. The breakfast was such a cute set up near the pool and beautifully cooked cakes...

We were a bit disappointed by the hotel! The mood of the hotel is that you re visiting your grand ma. In a beautiful place but has not done renovations for quite a while ! Can be charming but the price doesn't match ... 200euros a night should allow you for a much better standing. Paint is cracking/ furnitures are...

Our first time visiting Hydra and my wife and I stayed at Bratsera. The best way to describe Hydra (pronounced "IDRA") is it is like the Island of Capri at a fraction of the price. And the Bratsera Hotel (the building is converted from sugar processing) is the best hotel on the Island of Hydra (also at a fraction of...

We had a nice room which was spacious and clean but the breakfast was not as great as people said before, I was missing local stuff, produced on the island, as well early checkout is not recommended, as there is nobody In the morning - and the hotel is pricey

We planned to have lunch at the Bratseta hotel. Our expections were high based on the positive reviews on Internet. We were in for a big dissapointment. The staff had more interest in their own business then in welcoming their guests (us). They even didn"t seem to notice us. Such unprofessional behaviour you wouldn't expect from a 5 star hotel....

The people and service are excellent has a small pool. Lots of beaches to choose from The town is full of small boutiques quaint artistic and not tacky. Breakfast is a buffet with local dishes served near pool. Loads of small restaurants and bars not noisy. Some of the beaches you need to take a boat others are walking distance.

It is ahistorical place with very nice decorated rooms, and the only with a pool inside, you can take your drink by the side of the pool. It was very clean and quiet, something that i like it! I didn't have many days only a weekend, and this place relax me!!!!

A short walk from the port to a very surprising hotel. Use the bar/ restaurant entry to avoid the steps if you have a large suitcase then it's all flat to the Reception. Our room was delightful with the bathroom downstairs and the living area upstairs with the beds on a raised platform . We loved the traditional decor and...
