We have sadly just left the Piteoussa Guest House after a wonderful week in Hydra- where just for a moment, the world felt like a good place again. We can not recommend this place and it’s wonderful owner Yiannis more highly. We were booked in June but had to move to September due to Covid. Yiannis could not have been more understanding. Any questions we had prior to arrival were answered fully and immediately. There was nothing that was too much trouble. And the room was gorgeous. A really lovely and clean yet modern space in a quiet part of town, a two minute walk to the harbour. The bed was big and comfy. And everything worked. Hot water, air con, kettle, safe. There was also a beautiful little balcony we could sit out on at the end of the day with a cold glass of rose. We have travelled enormously over the years and have been fortunate to stay on some of the best hotels in the world. In terms of customer service Yiannis rates as high as the best of The Four Seasons. Is the room the same size as a suite in one of their hotels. No. But at around $100 per night vs over $1000 you would not expect it. But I would really rather stay here, in Piteoussa and Hydra than anywhere else in the world. If you read this review- don’t hesitate to book. But please try and keep it a little bit secret. It is only small and we need to come back!

A two night stay in an absolutely marvellous guest house - large en suite room, comfortable bed, very decent amenities included and a very friendly and hospitable owner. Highly recommended, and we’d stay again!

Lovely building just 4 minutes walk from the harbour and very easy to find. We had a balcony room that was very spacious, comfortable and spotlessly cleaned daily. Excellent WiFi, good communication with the owner who was a very nice and helpful man. Very comfy bed & pillows, lovely views and very quiet and good value for money. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

We loved this hotel! Specious room, very nice design. Very quest street, so it was a pleasure to seat at the balcony :) very sweet that it even has Apivita cosmetics in the room. Great value for money. If this hotel will have also breakfast ( maybe in some near by cafe) would be just lovely! Anyway we enjoyed a lot staying there! For sure will come again! Thanks!

Loved my stay at the Piteoussa Guest House. My room was charming and the little baloney was the perfect place to enjoy an early morning coffee. A short walk to the main town harbor area made it extremely convenient for me to come back to the room for breaks throughout the day. I loved this charming island, the kind people that call it home and look forward to another stay.
