This hotel was an amazing find! We stayed in the bamboo bungalow room which was set in the gardens and had its own private veranda.

The room itself was extremely comfortable with a kettle and fridge. Bathroom was large with a modern powerful hot shower. Nice crisp bed linen and fluffy towels.

The staff we encountered were very professional and friendly. Reception is closed between 10pm to 7am however there’s an emergency number to ring for any issues.

Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am and there was an excellent selection of fresh food, hot and cold, to choose from. They allow you to take breakfast wherever you wish, we sometimes ate on our veranda or in the gardens.

Highly recommended!

I arrived at the Rastoni and was not disappointed. Firstly, I had forgotten to book an extra night and though the hotel was full Afroditi found me somewhere else to stay at a very reasonable price, she was really helpful and saved me the cost of having to book the whole weekend!

I was shown to the garden room and the really pleased with it, the bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and the shower was great! I was on the ground floor so my doors opened up into the the amazing gardens that they have there.

When I returned following a sailing course, my sea view room was amazing! Once again, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the balcony view offered a beautiful view of the sea, sunset and the temple of Apollo.

The breakfast was very tasty and Dagma was fantastic when serving, always helpful and friendly throughout my time at the hotel!

All the staff were amazing at the hotel and with the hotel being situation 2 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the centre of Aegina, this is a great hideaway to relax whilst having the convenience of being able to visit and enjoy other aspects of this beautiful island.

Thank you to Afroditi and her team for a wonderful stay, will certainly return!

This hotel was truly wonderful set in the most beautiful gardens. We had the Executive room which was huge with a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens and the sea. All the staff were extremely helpful and as other reviews have mentioned the home cooked breakfast was both plentiful and tasty. Very close to the harbour and the beautiful port of Aegina and such a fabulous place to chill after 3 days exploring Athens.

We were first booked at another hotel and after friends visited this one, we decided to change our reservation and are so very glad we did! This is a gem! You feel like you’re in the garden of Eden with the beautiful gardens spewing flowers and fruit at every turn! Our room was extremely comfortable and well appointed…not huge, but plenty of room. There are some with private balconies and some views, which we did not have. We saw the most amazing sunset from the common balcony outside our room. Breakfast was included and it’s about a five-minute walk into town. Everyone was soooo helpful and we were able to do our laundry. I loved it!

Stayed here for 3 nights, whilst island hopping for a week. Charming small hotel with beautiful gardens, lush shaded areas, water feature and ample seating for alfresco breakfast. Staff were all exemplary. They couldn’t do enough to make our stay more comfortable and memorable. They assisted us with taxis, ferry bookings etc. And stored our luggage for late departure. The rooms are spacious and cool. Shutters and air con. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel has super views of the sea, and is just a 5 minute walk to the little beach with sunbeds and bar, and the bustling port with its shops and restaurants. All in all, a delightful stay. We will be back.

We had a really lovely stay at Hotel Rastoni. The room was amazing, the staff were very helpful and the grounds were beautiful-full of trees and flowers, etc.
The location is just a few minutes stroll from the centre of the town.
If you are staying in Aegina I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Rastoni

Without needing to write an essay, this hotel is splendid.
Very good service and help from all the staff. Very good morning buffet (the homemade jam was amazing). Rooms were clean and quiet. There is also parking available, I dont know if the space available is enough in summer where the hotel will be full..
Wifi signal was ok-ish with slow speeds, but thankfully still available.
Something I do have to note. There is a newer wing in this hotel complex and that where we stayed. The bathroom was bigger, with more comfort and space. The older wing is more traditional and with smaller showers.
The garden is absolutely beautiful and I definitely want to come again in summer and enjoy it more.
Even though it had small things here and there that I didn't like. I still recommend this hotel.

Stayed for four nights having previously visited Aegina on a day trip from Athens.

Rastoni is a five minute walk from the port and lovely Aegina town close to the impressive archaeological site of Kolona.

The three things that stand out are the friendliness of the staff, the beautiful gardens (which everyone mentions) and the eye for quality overall. The furnishings, the decor, the finish of the building are all of a really high standard. You don’t get the impression any corners have been cut. It’s very stylish, and while style is a subjective thing, it worked for us.

Staff were really helpful. Booking a car for 24 hours has never been easier. Slight problem with the room, sorted.

Two slight grumbles and a word of advice. Bathroom was a bit pokey, and there was a lack of mirror light in the bedroom. Book a room with a private balcony if possible.

Otherwise superb.

The hotel was beautiful and we had a large apt with a beautiful view. We had breakfast outside our room on a private patio and played cribbage in the evening watching the sunset. The breakfast was very good quite a variety of items to choose from. The staff was very helpful in arranging a rental car for us. Would strongly recommend this hotel.
