We had a really lovely stay at Hotel Rastoni. The room was amazing, the staff were very helpful and the grounds were beautiful-full of trees and flowers, etc. The location is just a few minutes stroll from the centre of the town. If you are staying in Aegina I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Rastoni
Stayed here for 3 nights, whilst island hopping for a week. Charming small hotel with beautiful gardens, lush shaded areas, water feature and ample seating for alfresco breakfast. Staff were all exemplary. They couldn’t do enough to make our stay more comfortable and memorable. They assisted us with taxis, ferry bookings etc. And stored our luggage for late departure. The rooms are spacious and cool. Shutters and air con. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel has super views of the sea, and is just a 5 minute walk to the little beach with sunbeds and bar, and the bustling port with its shops and restaurants. All in all, a delightful stay. We will be back.
Sadly, what could have been a nice experience was ruined by the appalling attitude of staff toward the local (wild) kittens. We came away from the hotel very upset by unnecessary cruelty. When I contacted them to allow them the opportunity to clarify their actions, they tried to feed me a “tourist” response which I challenged and asked for the truth. They have still not replied…
I arrived at the Rastoni and was not disappointed. Firstly, I had forgotten to book an extra night and though the hotel was full Afroditi found me somewhere else to stay at a very reasonable price, she was really helpful and saved me the cost of having to book the whole weekend! I was shown to the garden room and the really pleased with it, the bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and the shower was great! I was on the ground floor so my doors opened up into the the amazing gardens that they have there. When I returned following a sailing course, my sea view room was amazing! Once again, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the balcony view offered a beautiful view of the sea, sunset and the temple of Apollo. The breakfast was very tasty and Dagma was fantastic when serving, always helpful and friendly throughout my time at the hotel! All the staff were amazing at the hotel and with the hotel being situation 2 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the centre of Aegina, this is a great hideaway to relax whilst having the convenience of being able to visit and enjoy other aspects of this beautiful island. Thank you to Afroditi and her team for a wonderful stay, will certainly return!…
This hotel is a real gem. Everything is great, the location is just a few minutes from the busy centre, clean rooms, great breakfast. The rooms are nicely decorated with good showers. The staff is friendly, the garden is amazing and has a tranquil atmosphere.
In our 10-day stay in Aegina, an island we visit for 11 years, we enjoyed the very best of hospitality in this authentic and lovely hotel. Excellent garden, wonderful people... overall lovely!!! We highly recommend
I stayed here for 2 weekends with my husband and we enjoyed it very much! Lovely boutique hotel with a very hospital team, clean stylish rooms with Bali design and delisious food! Additionally I`d like to highlight a queit location of the hotel with amazing outdoor green area. If you need a special romantic atmosphere, please, book a Executive Sea View room ( the best accomodation). Not far from marina and all shops, supermarkets and tavernas. Rastoni, you are the best in Aegina!
After spending a week sightseeing in Athens we needed somewhere to rest, and this was the perfect hotel. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They arranged car hire for us and even lent us the cash to pay because the hirer didn’t take cards, and we paid the hotel owner the cash the next day. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the centre of Aegina town. Turn down the road immediately right from the hotel, this takes you directly to the archaeological site of the Apollo Temple and to the waterfront. A more pleasant way to walk to the town than the busy (by Aegina standards) main road. There are two small beaches either side of the Temple, one a serviced beach, the other to the right of the Temple is free. The view from our balcony was wonderful, overlooking the gardens to the sea and the Temple. The room is large and beautifully furnished. There is both air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The room has a kitchen worktop with a sink and fridge. Cups and plates are in an overhead cupboard and cutlery is also provided. A safe is included in the room. The reception is not manned at night, but an phone number is provided if there are any problems There is a good choice for breakfast which is nicely laid out, there are no hot options. The garden is amazing, beautifully kept. There are a lot of shaded areas to sit and have breakfast. The garden is a real highlight of the hotel. We had a wonderful week at the Rastoni Hotel and we thoroughly recommend it.…
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of September. the room was lovely and very nicely furnished. the whole feel of this hotel is very laid back. We had a sea view, with a four poster bed. Room had air con and a ceiling fan so we managed to stay cool despite the hot temperature outside. 5 to 10 minute walk from the beach and port area and the shops/restaurants/bars. The host (Dagmar) was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our short stay. Breakfast was included and was fresh and tasty. Wish we had more than 2 nights here....will definitely be visiting again in the future
Wow, this is one absolutely stunning B&B, 10 mins walk from the main area of the seafront nestled in a quiet road and around 5 to the beach and some restaurants in a slightly different direction. We stayed here on three separate occasions – one night either side of our sailing holiday, and the weekend in between. So we experienced four of the 15 rooms (2 twins and two of the garden rooms). Each one fantastic. Could not fault in any way. The gardens of this hotel are truly beautiful to sit and eat breakfast or chill. Breakfast was more than adequate and the two ladies working there were nothing but first class in their helpfulness, friendliness.
