The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Clean and spacious with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating areas. Good sized pool. Acceptable breakfast. Quiet location. Very close to the beach and town for an authentic Greek experience.

We have just returned from this hotel on the 17th May 2016. Due to some mixed reviews I was not sure what to expect. Worse case scenario would be that I would buy a bottle of bleach and clean the room myself. FORTUNATELY! That was not necessary, we were pleasantly surprised. The Mother, Litsa, does not speak much English but... More

Hotel Miranda on Egina island is on a very good location on the city Egina in the town centre. Nice hotel in a old style, with a outdoor swiming pool, close to the marina and ferryes. But need a little renovation. In the past this hotel was the most nice hotel od the island

We arrived at 2:15 pm to the hotel, when we were told that we couldnt check-in, because the rooms were not cleaned yet. I would've understood this whole situation if the place was packed with guests, but in fact we were the only ones..and the staff was just casually having their afternoon coffe instead of cleaning.. Only advantages of the... More

This hotel opened in 1950 and I would guess very little has changed since! Like stepping into a time warp, with all the original furniture, shutters, bathroom with obligatory wraparound curtain, public rooms etc. Having said that, the a/c worked just fine, as did the fridge and there was wi-fi in the public areas (yes, there are concessions to the... Overall a pretty good stay! Location is awesome, walking distance from the main town and the ferry/buses etc. Also the pool is amazing. Wifi is good but only in common areas, it didnt reach our room but that wasnt a problem. Working air con in rooms, nice balcony, hospitable hosts. The only downside was the breakfast. Decent place, we'd stay... More
