The Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate earns accolades for its attentive service and vibrant atmosphere, complete with modern touches and entertainment such as a DJ at the wave pool. While travelers commend the hotel's cleanliness and spacious rooms, some remarks point to the need for decor updates and quieter accommodations. Diverse amenities, including multiple pools, are popular among guests, despite occasional maintenance issues. Opinions on value are split, with praise for staff dedication but criticism over costs and aging infrastructure. Situated in a serene location, the resort is ideal for privacy seekers and golf enthusiasts.

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed at Omni for a family vacation and it was a fantastic resort. We prefer relaxing vacations, and Omni definitely provides that with all their on-site amenities. I was worried it would be super crowded since it is a convention resort, but you would never know that walking around the grounds. Our absolute favorite was the pool area. We spent time at the wave pool and lazy river every day. We went in the middle of June and it wasn't crowded at all. There were plenty of pool chairs available and nothing ever felt crowded. I was also surprised how good the wave pool actually was considering it was at a hotel. We also utilized the miniature golf course and did the kayak fishing, which was a lot of fun. I really appreciated how the resort grounds were laid out, even though it was a convention resort, all the restaurants and amenities were close together so it was very convenient. The grounds were just beautiful to walk around and the mini-golf course is to the west so we got to view a beautiful sunset while we played in the evening. The room was spacious enough and we all felt the beds were really comfortable. I also appreciated the bathroom had plenty of counter space to put everything since we were there a week. We stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the pool, which I would recommend getting a room with a balcony. It wasn't large, but it was nice to be able to step out and view the scenery. Overall, this was a very beautiful and relaxing resort and great for families.

Clean but so is Motel 6. Large rooms but Hampton Inn has spacious rooms. Chaotic parking and check in process. The resort is so geared towards extracting every cent by pushing their valet services that the check in and parking experience was an absolute disgrace. No traffic control out front, no clear signage, rude valet attendants. They keep blocking off areas of the self parking lots to the point where there are no available handicapped spots available. We met other couples there and one of them needed handicap parking. The self parking lot with handicap spaces was closed and being used exclusively for valet parking. When they pointed this out they were told they could valet park. Some of us don’t want people driving or being in our cars and nobody should have to submit to invasion of their property in order to avail themselves of legally mandated handicap accommodations nor be forced to spend $45 a night plus tips for the indignity. Self parking is $35 and it is not unreasonable to expect the legal minimum amenities. With hundreds of rooms they have a paltry 2 charging stations which when I tried to find them were in a cordoned off portion of the lot. Really? TWO SPACES? Going to the rooms is like exploring a rabbit warren. Finding your room is like negotiating a labyrinth. Heaven help them if there is ever an emergency and people need to evacuate the building. This was my first and definitely last stay at this resort. I can think of many better experiences that cost north of $300 a night. For a good time AVOID this one.

Staying here now - won’t be back. We came for a soccer tournament and my daughter’s birthday, and we were barely able to sleep last night as our neighbors were having a drunken party well past 2 am. When I put on a robe, knocked on the door and asked them to be quiet around 1, a man answered red faced and visibly drunk saying they’d turn the music down. They didn’t, continued blasting music and slamming doors. I called the front desk four times asking them to intervene (last call to them at 2:17). The front desk rep told me during the 4th call that they would “evacuate the room” insisting that we shouldn’t be inconvenienced. Imagine my shock receiving a note under our door from hotel security the next morning saying they “were not able to hear any loud noises.” I guess I was calling all night for no reason. The next morning I spoke to front desk manager Marcelle who was quite pleasant but seemed to know little about the previous night. She was happy to move us to a new room so my husband, two kids and I packed up all our stuff and moved to a new room while the loud, unapologetic drunkards remain. Why weren’t they moved? Better yet why weren’t they asked to leave the property after receiving multiple warnings (as the manager told me she’d learned they received after my complaints). Horrible service.

I had booked my stay at Omni Orlando at ChampionsGate for a conference several months ago, and had received a confirmation from the site from which I booked. However, when I arrived, for whatever reason, there was a different name under the same reservation number. Immediately, Amina and Destiny handled the situation with grace, persistence and professionalism. Due to the confusing situation, and their efforts in trying to rectify the situation, there was a significant wait that had transpired, while I was at the front desk. However, they were incredibly gracious, and demonstrated poise throughout the entire circumstance. I have not seen professionalism in the business sector quite like this in a long, long time. They ensured my satisfaction and even provided some additional benefits at the resort due to the inconvenience that had been experienced on my behalf. But it wasn’t these actions that impressed me or made me happy; it was their maturity in handling something that was challenging, and the way they displayed a sense of duty and responsibility in reconciling the matter. Additionally, we had family checking in later during our stay and they made extra effort to ensure their room was right next to ours. We felt like Destiny and Amina were looking out for our needs at every turn and made every effort our stay was particularly enjoyable. This hotel is very fortunate to have such young professionals working on their staff.

We were totally disappointed when after giving our car to valet and bringing all of our luggage into the resort only to find out that we had to reload our luggage and drive to the villa where there is no valet , no one to help with our luggage Once in the villa it wasn’t difficult to realize that the unit was a very old privately owned condo in a rental program If this is the type of accommodations your happy with you would be much happier booking on Airbnb at a fraction of the price You could probably stay for 3 or 4 nights for what I paid for 1 night

I wanted to start off by saying I have never written a review for a trip on any website. However I felt a need to do so in this instance. I stayed at the Omni for a Commercial Meeting for a week, it was my 50th Birthday the week prior so I decided to invite my girlfriend to come visit after my work event for a few days to celebrate. It was our first day and we went to the pool/Croc's Bar & Grill to get a drink and relax while deciding what we wanted to do for the rest of the trip. We were immediately greeted by Matty and from that moment on, once he knew of my birthday and our plans he was incredible. Great service, incredible drinks, kind, funny and most of all inviting. Little did we know that later that day Tanya would come and introduce herself with the charm and joyfulness of someone who truly enjoyed her career and hosting guests. She had talked to Matty knew about my birthday and proceeded to ask if there was anything she could do to make our stay even more special. We said no thank you but felt as though she was dead set on making us memories. Later the next evening as we returned to our room there was a very unique surprise waiting for me, it was a birth day dessert and a card, we were floored by her creativeness and such a kind gesture. All in all it was a special stay and it was made great by several members of the staff but specifically Tanya and Matty. thank you very much for a memorable experience. Jason and Jen.

Do not waste your money on reserving a room at this resort. The costumer serves was nothing like I ever experienced. I arrived around 1:00 am due to flight delays. When I arrived, the attendant at the front was not very approachable or helpful. I ended up not getting in my room till 2:00am.
