it was our biggest mistake choosing this hotel. first nigh we were accommodated in not finished newly built room with dust everywhere. next day we were moved into room with faulty canalization. all hotel services are very poor quality. pools are dirty. beach side stony and very small ~20 m., sand dirty, sunbeds were reserved by other holiday makers at... Had a nice week at this hotel. Paid a 3*, got a 3* hotel. I don't know what other people are complaining about. I wouldn't give it a 5 as is stated by the hotel itself, although some other guests said that the newly refurbished rooms they had were really nice. My room was out of the 80's but fine... More

After booking I then unfortunately read the reviews. Big mistake. Read them and take heed. How they have given this 5 stars I do not know. Similar experience as previous review. Booked to stay all-inclusive in the hotel. At check-in we were asked "do you have a car?" Fortunately we did as we were sent up the road to some... More

This was our first ever all inclusive experience and so we were unsure what to expect. We arrived to a clean and impressive lobby and the staff were friendly. They informed us the hotel was overbooked so we had to go to an apartment owned jointly by them (Rosebay Apartments) approx 800m down the road. These rooms were clean and... More

Me and my partner went for a week holiday in June. The hotel was a little run down and needed a lick of paint here or there. Not a massively choice of food. The food was not to to thou. No dessert except fruit and ice cream which was a let down. You have to queue for a drink or... More

Crete is beautiful, this hotel slightly less so. Our room was basic, and the bathroom was a little damp (due to the overpowered shower and thin shower curtain). On the plus side, we had steps from our terrace straight into the nicest of the three pools, and the hotel was right on the beach. Savoury food was fine (some of... More

This hotel is nothing like the photos on their website. How it can be classed as 5 star is beyond me. We had booked a superior sea view room and had asked via email for a top floor sea view room which we received confirmation that we could have. We were then shown to our room not on the top... More

Well I will start with the positives our first visit to Crete and I can say it's a fantastic place with very accommodating people. Rethymon is a fantastic town with lots of good places to eat which we discovered due to the hotel not being a great place to eat. I will kick it off with our arrival got to... More

Just returned from a two week stay at the Agelia Beach Hotel, the weather was amazing but the hotel itself was disappointing. I was going to give the hotel a 3* rating to reflect how many stars the hotel should be. However after the experience me and my partner had I have decided to give this hotel a 'poor' rating....
