1) Location: About 15 minutes drive from the city center.
2) Rooms: Very adequate size. Great, large balconies. Kitchen with all the necessary kitchenware. A large, functional bathroom. Well-functioning air conditioning and refrigerator, hair dryer, and TV. It has everything you need.
Important NOTE: Due to the location of the hotel, all balconies overlook the sea and are north-facing. This is not an unimportant detail, it is a very important and wonderful detail. Thanks to the north-facing balcony, it is very easy and comfortable to enjoy. Sea view but shaded balcony. Great.
3) Beach: We came to Zakynthos to discover the wonderful beaches, but the hotel's beach is so beautiful and especially calm in the mornings and evenings that there is no need for other beaches. (The water was very warm in July. It was great.)
4) Restaurant: A quality and price/performance restaurant that does not require going to the city center. Delicious, fresh, quality food right on the sea.
Important NOTE: We ate the Frigania dessert, which is unique to Zakynthos, in 4 different places. The best by far was the Frigania we ate at Levantino's Restaurant. We learned that Mario's sister makes it. It is rare, but if you catch it, definitely try it.
5) For those coming by car, there are plenty of indoor parking lots. It protects the vehicle from the sun.
6) Cleaning: In studio/apartments, room cleaning is usually not like in a HOTEL. But Levantino is not like that. The rooms are cleaned very well every day. Towels etc. are changed. Hotel quality but Studio comfort.
7) I always want to be protected from the sun, but the small umbrellas on the beaches do not provide enough shade. But in Levantino beach, in addition to the umbrellas, there are also plenty of trees. So if you want to be protected from the sun, it is very easy. (There are also plenty of sunny areas for those who want to sunbathe.)

We where 5 families but I will share just my opinion. Rarely I have the feeling that I want to go back in a summer holiday in same location , usually I like to experience something new. But Mario, Anastacia, their stuff , location, the vibe I had there should made me to write a bad review in order to still find rooms when I will schedule my holiday :)) It was really nice ,friendly, helpful ...joyful and so on. Great rooms (all with sea view, clean , big, sunny, Airco , great breakfast , lunch dinner......not many options daily but tasty and special Greek one's (regards to Any) great view from sunbeds , incredible natural umbrellas , nice water . Indeed there are ~ 3 meters of rocks but Mario had a great idea to pass them with a bridge of bags with sand, Yes no big area for sand but I really did not need it . Grass was basically the same . Well.It was an EXCELLENT choice I had and I will go back 200%

Levantino studios is, for me and my friends, the reason why I go to Zakynthos. mario is the most valuable hotel owner I've seen, he knows how to make a pleasant vacation, he understood very well the way he should make you feel on vacation. Its beach, shaded by trees, is good for those who prefer the shade, the terrace is hit by the waves of the sea, in the evening it is worth sitting and watching the ships while drinking a glass of wine. We found this place a few years ago when we were exploring the island. An enchanting spot for lunch: tables next to the sea, really charming staff and wonderfully cooked food. Menu is limited, but I always prefer restaurants who do a few things well, rather than many things badly. We usually go for the sea bream which is always cooked to perfection.

Absolutely beautiful bay, great cafe with lovely staff, excellent standard of food and free sunbeds.
There is ample parking and the beach is not busy so very relaxing.

We have just returned from staying 16 nights in "Levantino 2" in a 2 bedroom apartment on the upper floor. The apartments are new with stylish furnishings, full fridge, hairdryer, t.v. and air con, all at no extra charge. They are kept spotless and towels and bed linen changed every two days. The balconies are furnished with very comfy chairs and have wonderful sea views, with the beach just a short stroll away.
We did hire a car for the duration of our holiday,( Merlis car hire in Kalamaki is very reasonable ) as the walk from the apartments to the road where the supermarket and a few tavernas are is very steep!
The beach is small but there were always plenty of sunbeds and its kept spotlessly clean.There is also a lovely lawned area with sunbeds , tables and chairs and plenty of shade if you dont wish to sit on the beach The sea is also calm so very safe for children.
There is a beach bar which is open for as long as you need it to be..... David says thanks Mario !! The food is cooked fresh by Annie which includes Papa"s own grown pototoes and is very varied with a "special" everyday.
What makes this place so special is the family that own it. They cannot do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble, and we were made to feel like we were family. Thank you Mario, Annie, Papa and Kasim for making our holiday so wonderful.

myself and my husband lee stayed here for eleven nights, after moving from a noisy hotel in kalamaki. this was the best move we have ever made,straight away you become one of the family,they can not do enough for you,mario ,the son is so friendly and we had such great evenings eating and drinking at the bar, we felt no need to go anywhere, it was all here, clean rooms,fantastic staff,especially quasim , the beach and gardens were execelent, clear blue sea and tropical gardens, we were given fresh apricots on the balcony every morning with our breakfast. we met wonderful friendly people of all nationalities. we stayed in the older apts near to the beach, they are typical greek,it was great to have a double bed, they also have a block of new apts which i must admit were luxurious just a short stroll up the hill, but we preferred to be with the family my husband has come home convinced he is marios cousin , there is also a small stone house that you can rent for a little more, this is great too. we will be returning in september to the levantino apts, that cant come quick enough. thanks mario and dad and quasim for making our stay so special you are such gentlemen, lots of love lee and nicky xxxx

lee and i stayed with mario and his family for eleven days to celebrate their easter and my 50th birthday, what a fantastic time we had, wee stayed in the beautiful stone house, the weather was fantastic and the company was brilliant, we met some new friends of mario called nikos and archondula they were very special people and we enjoyed our giros night out with them and mario and annie and dimitri, we are so happy to have met them and will keep in contact, and we send our best wishes to them for their forthcoming wedding in july. thankyou to mario and his family for making my birthday so special, that chocolate cake was fantastic. we will be back in september to this very enchanting place and look forward to seeing all the family and quasim, miss you all very much from nicky and lee xxxx

there is another tavern very close to our place
and about 800 meters far from our place and just on the main road there are another 2-3 restaurants and a supermarket...the only problem is that this road is a little bit steep ,but is walkable
and about taxi from the airport they charge 21 euros
but you can also contact with me a few days before your arrival and if everything is ok I can pick you up from the airport and we can arrange a meeting there
