We enjoyed our stay. They have beautiful manicured grounds and a refreshing pool. We enjoyed their breakfast buffet and the people were very helpful. There is a nearbye small beach that is a couple blocks away. The only negative was a musty smelling room.
As others have mentioned, looks good on first arrival, lovely pool and beautiful scenery with well placed flowers etc. However, enter your bedroom and it's a different experience altogether. Paid for a double room and instead had 2 singles crudely pushed together with no warning or apology or of course, a discount! At first I was willing to let it go but during the night the mattresses were constantly separating and one of us could have fell in the gap. No head board either so I banged my head on the wall once or twice. Toilet made a trickling sound all night and there was a huge, heavy full length mirror propped against the wardrobe unfixed. Accident waiting to happen a small kid will be crushed one day. Now let's talk about how they rinse you for tea and coffee. I get that we were on a room only deal. But not even a crappy little kettle and some coffee sachets in the room? Nope. You have to get dressed, and walk to their restaurant to be stripped of your money for a coffee in a cup the size of a contact lense. Really not good enough. The bar operates a system where you scan a barcode, place and order then wait for your drinks. And wait you will. For a very long time. My partner had to keep going up to the bar to ask where our drinks were and kept being told to sit back down and wait and they were not busy at all as far as we could tell. Not the worst hotel I've been in, but unfair to call it 4 star and charge as such.…
At first glance the place looks amazing, look a little closer at the room we stayed in and it is very shabby, although good selection toiletries. The breakfast was mediocre but the service was very poor - lots of staff but very little customer service. Does not cater well for those with allergies despite advertising such and advanced notice. If you’re looking for very quiet location with little around and no evening entertainment then this could be the place for you - in Hindsight should have checked location better before booking. Taxi ride is 10 mins to alcudia port ~€10. Many of the staff speak little to no English making communication very difficult. Unfortunately not a great experience for us
We were upgraded to one of their 2 slect suites when our select room's AC was not working. The terrace was fantastic with sun bed, sofa and chairs and a shower but all that did not alieve my disappointment with the room. This was supposingly their select suite, best room in the place. It is called a suite but is not a suite. The toilet is in an inclosed closet in the room with a wall that does not extend to the ceiling, allowing all sounds and smells to enter the main room. The shower is in another closet on the opposite wall. Open concept is not appealing with a bathroom. Another issue is that no one mentioned when making the reservation for the selct room that all of the 4 upgraded rooms are in the main reception building which has no elevator. Nor was there anyone available to help us with our luggage up the steep flight of stairs. I think that should be mentioned when reserving one of those rooms. Aside from those 2 drawbacks, the hotel is pleasant with a helpful staff and relaxing atmosphere. It is in a residential area so not many tourist around and very quiet, basically no night life to be honest. A very nice beach is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there is a small supermarket and pharmacy with in walking distance. One restaurant in the area and other than that, you have to drive into Alcudia or take a taxi. There is an empty lot that is free parking for the hotel guests which is down the street. We like the quiteness and relaxing feel to the place and love the beach nearby but do feel that the hotel is lacking a bit to be considered a 4 star.…
Unfortunately, we did not really like our stay in this hotel. The interior is of poor quality and (even more important) the walls are not thicker than a paper. Hence, you can hear almost everything your neighbours are saying or doing. Furthermore, you can hear very Cleary when anyone is flushing the toilet. This makes it quite difficult to sleep properly. The pool is good, the breakfast is OK. No one told us that you can order eggs, we saw that coincidentally. Staff wasn't really nice at all (except the cleaning staff, they were smiling and greeting all the time) All in all I would not recommend the hotel, it's not really what 4 stars can be like
The restaurant was much better, before the made it "modern". Salt bar is now next to Zero. No more life cooking for breakfast - luke warm eggs are not for everyone! The new check in is better than the old one.
Such a lovely relaxing classy hotel with superb staff who took extra care with my 86 yr old mother. Special thanks to Claudia for seeing to our needs. This is perfect for a total relax with the beach a five min walk one way and supermarket the other. Alcudia is not far in a taxi either. Food was lovely. There is no entertainment but we knew that. Only disappointnent was no english channels despite good wifi. You can arrange a kettle in your room at no cost. Highly recommend for couples and families.
October was a good time to visit Mallorca, the sun is warm, but not burning. The higher of tourism is over and there is a calm, relaxed atmosphere! We enjoyed our week in Prinsotel, Malpas. A bit of the beaten track, there are small, Sandy beeches, fantastic and dramatic sea views, extravagant villas and Victoria, a natur reserve with stunning Walks! The staff at Prinsotel were always helpful and friendly. The rooms clean and comfortable and always a plentiful supply of varied dishes for breakfast and dinner. The cocktail bar is situated close to the pool, the surrounding Palms create a comfortable, calm and exotic atmosphere.
An overall fully satisfactory experience. Friendly and helpful staff and service. Breakfast was very good: excellent variety of choice and food quality very good. Calm And relaxed atmosphere. Lovely swimming pool. 5 mins walk from two lovely beaches and starting point for hiking. Room was nothing exceptional but clean and silent. You can have beach towels for beach and swimming pool, and change them any time you want. Parking spots available for free across the road. Would definitely consider going back!
It says on the hotel headline that English is spoken. I have yet to find an english speaking member of the team. The staff are helpful but not friendly and the food is good and well prepared if you are on a half board menu. It is definitely a German frequented hotel which isn’t bad as they were all friendly and polite which is more to said for some English hotels we have stayed at. Downsides are the culture at the hotel .... v regimented and a lock on the piano says it all. We have , however, enjoyed our stay so far and are here till Saturday Jack
