The room was advertised to include shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, but there was only a 2-in-1 without conditioner. There was no toothpaste or toothbrush provided. Additionally, having only one power outlet near one bed in a room with two separate beds is not very convenient.

The hotel is a few steps to the beach, and 2 mins walk to a bus stop. Plus several restaurants around the Cala Major - San Agustin area. They provide beach towels and a carry bag, a large comfortable bed, and wonderful sea views, graced by a full moon, during my stay. Have cash handy when wanting to rent a lounger and umbrella by the beach. People start putting towels on chairs very early in the morning.

Be Live Costa Palma is one of 3 Be Live Hotels located very close together, so check the prices for your stay for each of the 3 Be Live hotels (Costa Palma, Cala and Merivent). We chose the Costa Palma as it suited our budget. All 3 hotels are located very close to the Cala Major beach.

We were very happy with our room (#3518) on the 5th floor which had superb views of the beach and built up residential area to the left of the hotel. A huge bedroom contained 2 comfy beds with excellent white linen, a lovely spacious balcony and a lovely shower room and separate toilet. If there was one thing that would have made our stay just perfect it would be to have tea/coffee facilities in our Superior room. So if you enjoy your morning cup then bring your own kettle (and mugs, a bar fridge is provided to keep your milk cold).

The pool area was spotless, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, the swimming pool water inviting and sparkling, the beach close by (literally a short walk from hotel reception), beach towels are provided with a deposit of 15 euro per towel (full refund once you return the towel).

A bus stop is close by to take you into central Palma, bus fares are 2 euro each way.

This Inn's great location on beautiful white sandy beach in Cala Major.
The beach has sunbeds (6€/day) and umbrellas (7€/day) and beach bars.
The turquoise water color is amazing, the water is clear and very clean compared to other beach in Palma!!!
The staff remains professional and attentive despite language barriers with 24-hour reception.
The bus number 4 is nearby, the purchase of direct ticket in the bus, no CB accepted.Provide changes (2€ each way), in 25 minutes you will arrive in the center of Palma.
The room is large with amazing sea views.
The savory/sweet buffet breakfast is quite varied, and the most of this stay is dinner at one of 3 restaurantd of your choice. Our choice remains the Mazai lounge restaurant. Choice of dishes on the menu is varied, very nice presentation of each dish, very friendly and professional waiters.
It was one more beautiful stay on Palma.
We returned to this Pension next year, for sure.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of May, it was chosen for its seafront location.
The new room assigned with a non-double bed we had to request to have the beds joined together because the double beds were all queen size.
Intercontinental breakfast only flaw the juices served were undrinkable.
We had a problem booking 2 massages in the spa, we didn't get what we had booked and when we mentioned it the young girls at the reception were absolutely not worried about the problem but about making us pay...
So we take a package that includes 85-minute massages and mud wraps... they give me an 85-minute massage and for them the price remains the same since they used the same time... I'm shocked... the only worry payment at reception. No further comment.

The hotel is nice and the staff friendly. I had a room overlooking the sea, I would say very nice and the cleanliness was great (I didn't understand why they put the sign for saving water and then change your towels every day anyway). I loved the free beach towel service with daily change and the spa (cost 10 € entrance) located in the adults only structure. I found the offer of the bar a bit expensive, but perhaps in line with the high prices of Mallorca. Only 3 sore notes: 1) the reception staff was very welcoming, but poorly trained (apart from one, Italian) on providing basic info to a vacationer as means, advice on where to go out in the evening etc... 2) the blind bathroom without a vacuum cleaner and 3) we had to report that the soap (dispenser) was out of stock.
I would still recommend the property... really good and rich breakfast.

Very disappointed with the welcome and the Pension that deserves to be redone.
As a couple, we had booked a superior room with double bed and balcony sea view (so quite high Award). Upon arrival, we are assigned a room with a bed for one and a half people (proof in photo). So I call to explain that this is not what was planned that there are 2 of us and from there the receptionist tells me that she knows but that she has no other rooms available. But I insist on saying that it has been 3 weeks that I have booked and that it is inadmissible to assign me a room for 1 person.
Moreover, working in the hotel industry, I know it was a mistake on their part. In short annoyed, after 45 min she finally assigned us a room with 2 separate beds but glued so it did the trick.
As if that were not enough, we were allowed dirty towels, a clogged sink (we had to do it ourselves of course). Apart from the Pension view which, it must be said, is magnificent, everything is a disaster. Breakfast very poor, and my spouse does not eat pork but even specifying the chef has put some in
The omelet and did not apologize after he was shown it was necessary to queue again.
In conclusion, expensive, unprofitable, unpleasant staff (except Lucrecia for the understanding the only one able to apologize a minimum) and unhealthy Pension.
Photos in support.
Cdt,
LBM

Definitely not a 4* structure. Overpriced for what has to offer. No parking availability (only 5 slots at €18/day). No sunbeds included on the beach. Stayed 4 nights and beds weren't changed in day 3 as expectations were set at check-in. Booking.com reservations treated way differently compared with friends that reserved through hotel website (late check-out and staff going extra mile). On last day no longer on the restaurant lists, but accommodated after fluffing papers several times to make sure we're not some outsiders. bottle of still water offered only on day 1, after that reception sent us to the 24/7 supermarket.

The positives- room with an amazing view, beach front position, half of the staff quite friendly the other half seems that they hate their jobs and that's pretty much it.

Room Tip: No parking, no sunbeds, ancient structure that needs renovation thoroughly. Our room had no door...

We didnt like the smell all over the hotel (weird urine toilet smell) which was the strongest in the lobby (during our whole stay at the hotel), but luckily not in the room.
We loved the view from our room. Reception ladies were very helpful, all hotel stuff was super nice, especially young boy from the bar.
After we arrived we thought the room was clean but later on we saw few things we didn’t like (glass stains on the furniture under tv, dust on the plate with bathroom stuff etc) so we didn’t use towels or glasses cause we were afraid that they’re not really clean. We used beach towels, but after 2 days when we left them on the floor cause they were dirty and we left the sign on the door that we ask for cleaning, we were hoping that we can have fresh ones, but we found them on the floor next to the door exactly how we left them, also there was sand all over the room. We saw that balcony was cleaned, and the bed was made but the rest was like before. Either way we’ll remember the hotel well, we spent some nice time and we love people that work there.
The minus was also very loud renovation noise from the early morning, but we understand that it has to be done sometimes.

We requested in advance a room with a nice view and we were given one with an obstructed view towards a rather bad ceiling. When we requested a change they replied: "To have a room with sea view you have to book and pay for a room with sea view" which seems an unprofessional answer. The hotel is not in good condition, as seen in the pictures. The towels are so old they scrape your skin. For what it cost this hotel expected much, but much more. I don't recommend it.
