We were today for lunch with our 2 years old daughter. We could not choose from the main menu because apparently during the lunch time you can choose only from a much limited menu. There was nothing for kids and when we asked if they could cook for my daughter just pasta with tomato sauce they brought very disgusting spaghetti, not fully cooked and on the top of it they put ketchup!!!! As this was not enough on top if it was eidam cheese which stick all spaghetti together and it becomes a very disgusting unbeatable thing. How hard it to cook pasta for kids please??? We will never visit this restaurant again
The reception at the reception is okay. they spoke German and were warm. The rooms are very dated. Many large pieces of furniture are in it and therefore also packed. Everywhere you walk the floor creaks, you have to love it! (it is an old house) The shower and toilet are clean but urgently needs renovation. The beds are moderate, you can sleep on it but then you have said everything. The hotel is located on a fairly busy road. But if you close the windows you do not hear much. The restaurant looks modern and looks good. food is good to do! Breakfast is also normal and good!
there is a very friendly staff at the hotel reception and at the hotel restaurant, breakfast was fine, nice indoor and outdoor restaurant and good cuisine, not enough parking places at the hotel, but it is possible to park nearby
The reason the hotel's website has an outdated picture of its facade is now overly clear. The hotel was and I emphasize was at one time possibly grand. Now, it is a grand old disappointment. The reception and its staff have no clue of what, how and when and could give 2 in the wind for it. We should have a discount on the room, receptionist did not know how to calculate 10% nor had a clue on how to use a payment terminal. Car parking is limited to 5 spaces in front of the hotel and when asked where we could park you are basically given a shrug. However there is free parking about 4-500 metres down the road but be early, this is where all the bathers visiting the lake will park. The rooms are poor to average, wifi is not availabe as stated in the descritptions on various websites and if it is, it has an excrutiatingly poor signal because even in the lobby area we couldn't connect. Sat TV is also not available despite again, what they say. It is dbt-tv. Rooms are average sized but clean, however we thank staff for the holes in the towels, it made hanging them on a hook much easier (note sarcasm). And lastly no airco of any kind, not even a ceiling fan. No, this hotel has had its days and if I could turn back time I would gladly spend my Eur 150.00 for 2 nights somewhere else. Breakfast was average, nothing special but more than adequate with all the typical czech items available. Another saving grace is the restaurant, Good food, friendly waiter who did advise of a more child friendly bathing area and a large kids play area.…
