Detailed Reviews
The hotel manager was a joy to have as a greeter and got us to our room super duper fast which I appreciated as I had to use the restroom really bad. The hotel was spacious with two beds and two pillows each. Good mattresses and the water pressure in the shower was nice. The bathroom was super spacious as well!! He was flexible with the checkout as our safari brought us back after checkout so that was a plus too. A/C and bed nets were provided but it did need something for the net to cling onto near the head of the bed as there are no headboards. Other than that we were please and the hotel was easy to find! Would stay again!

+1
It was great budget hotel for Locals like us. And its located near to Kataragama Pilgrimage city in a walking distance. And the facilities in hotel rooms are awesome specaily the wash rooms are so clean and tidy.
Hotel Senora's Manger Mr. Suren gave us lots of tips and good service to make our trip success.
Foods can be taken outside or from the hotel itself. Foods are delicious too.
I wish and thanking the owner - Mr. Sahan Hettiarachchi having this wonderfull place in kataragama and giving it for reasonble prices.

Good location and free parking. Close to the famous Kataragama Devalaya. They even arranged a offering(puja watti) for a reasonable rate and someone will bring to the doorstep of the Devalaya, no need to carry all the way.
Need some renovation/maintenance for some rooms. We took three rooms, one had a kettle, not in others. Our wash- room sink water is very low, others good. Good A/C, good hot water, enough TV channels. May need good pillows, new bed-sheets. We asked morning tea at 6.30 and did not get. I had to ask and got at 7.15. Maybe a miss-communication. They offered a good rate for us. Staff makes this place clean all the time.

Nice place and everyone's so kind. The service is exceptional and the rooms are spotless. Location is so convenient to access Kataragama Maha Devalaya and Kirivehera. Therefore it's an ideal place for anyone to access around Katharagama

When it comes to the location it was nearby to the Katharagama town. Considering the rooms, they were so untidy we had to order them to change bedsheets 2-3 times. Deluxe rooms were nothing but cable t.v.Definitely not worth the price you pay. Bathrooms were so smelly and had bloodstains on the walls. Amenities were used before or dirty. Toilet potties were broken. And the service was much poor, as an example

One of the newer properties in Kataragama, conveniently located just away from the busy town centre. We'll maintained air conditioned rooms, clean bathrooms. The super deluxe room is a great choice. The kitchen turns out sumptuous Sri Lankan fare.

This falls into the Budget category. Interpretation of a stay at Kataragama depends on the individual's expectation. If its a local visitor who is on a strict pilgrimage with vegetarian fare and Spartan stay overnight this hotel is good. It is small, very clean and with very attentive staff,. The meals are very tasty and they do not economize on portions. It is about 05 minutes drive by car to the holy areas, very convenient. The rates are very easy.

This is a good budget hotel. All the facilities are there and room size is enough for four person. Cleanliness is good.staff is friendly especially asanka&darmasena who helped lot during our stay. Foods can be taken outside or from the hotel itself. Closely located to the devalaya. You can use threewheelers to go to kiriwehera.

Nothing exceptional about this hotel, except that it is VERY close to both the Kirivehera and the Kataragama devale. Clean rooms with A/C and mosquito nets provided. It would have been good to have some toileteries!
Worth mentioning that Asanka, the staff member, was extremely helpful, and went out of his way to make sure we were all ok.
