really nice relaxing place away from the hecticness of Colombo. There was only girl who worked there in particular who went well above to ensure we had everything we needed. The only comment and it’s by no means a compliant but it’s pretty big place and we had rooms at the very end and so the WiFi didn’t get that far. Not the biggest issue but could be for those who have to work etc. would recommend, based on views of the beach alone.

With the beautifully appointed rooms and the views over the ocean, this could be a real haven for a restful stay, even allowing for the location being on an unattractive road and away from being able to walk to all the great restaurants in Negombo. And for a moment, I was hopeful. But just a moment. Having been shown to my ocean view room at well past check in time that was still being cleaned, they put me in the room next door. But that was without checking the toilet worked okay and that you could adjust the air con from full blast and full noise. Not a great start when you have to keep calling for maintenence. No worries, I thought - I'll go for a swim. But then had to wander around to find someone who could give me a towel, and the infinity photo is an exceptionally flattering view of the rather shabby pool area. The sun beds are also rather tired and no mattress. Still, a nice room service meal would surely end the day in a better vein...or not. I thought I'd keep it simple given the challenges already experienced and so ordered a burger. Nope. Don't have any of those madam!! Settled for something I didn't really want: sat down to eat and then heard the same maintenance man from earlier, at 7.30pm, chipping and sanding the paint in the hallway outside my door. Not even the jet engine air con noise could drown him out!!! And don't get me started on breakfast the next morning.... The GM tried to help, but it was too little too late, and just doesn't cover all the issues. What a real shame.

Hôtel fantôme. Beaucoup d'infrastructures vides.

1.I had booked the resort for wedding Anniversary celebration, but the fact is they ruined my celebration, the restaurant staff are totally unprofessional and lacked quality in dealing with guest , 3 hours after the order , they themselves were confused about the food what we have ordered. There was no water on the table , including no one approached us also . Finally we had to leave the table with half the orders. The manager of the hotel also was unable to resolve the concerns , as he was busy in just chitchatting and always hiding away from guest. 2. The quality of food is below average level , seriously below the price as it was quoted in their menu. 3. Room service was like delay of 1 hour for drinking water and also there was no toiletries, slippers available in the room. In simple word , the overall rating of the hotel is 1.5 / 10 . ITS HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. Specially for European tourists , The hotel is not upto mark for the amount we pay.
