We’ve had a lovely week here. Public parts of hotel are very smart and trendy. Room was simple (we didn’t upgrade), but large, and clean, with lots of storage and a large balcony. Very comfortable bed, lots of hot water. Food was always good with a variety of dishes. Staff are wonderful. Really can’t fault this place. As well as the pool bar, there was also a beach bar a short walk away where loungers etc we’re free if you bought something - a 1 euro bottle of water sufficed, but we often had snacks and drinks too. We also enjoyed renting a car and exploring a bit of the island over 2 days, which the manager arranged for us. Would happily return.

Room Tip: Bring shoes to wear in the sea as there’s a line (about 2 feet wide) of quite large stones before...

The Louloudis Boutique Hotel was a lovely place for us to enjoy our first holiday on Thassos - the northern most Greek island, that we were informed is the Greek island most revisited. The fact that it is adult only was a key selling point for us. It's conveniently situated at 10mins drive from ferry & in a lovely situation - 5 mins walk from a beautiful stretch of beach - with a couple of idyllic beach spots that are so stunning that you won't want to spend time in the hotel pool! Unfortunately, there's no mini market within walking distance - if you don't have a hire car, you'll need to jump on the bus (but be sure to double check the latest timetable!) or order a taxi. It cost us €14 one way to nearest Thassos town. Our room was quite simple and apart from having 2 single beds pushed together instead of the double that we would have preferred, it was all that we needed. We were even happier to receive a kettle when requested! Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping everything spotlessly tidy & making sure we had everything else we might have needed. As a footnote, I should mention that we arrived much later than expected - 11.45 - and were kindly presented with a much needed & delicious plate of food that we were very happy to accept! We had a couple of gripes I feel I should mention: the Spa is almost non-existent as far as I can tell - I attempted to book treatments which never materialised for various reasons that I'm still not that sure of. However, the biggest issue for us was smoking in the dining area. There are no 'No smoking' signs but when we asked the staff, we were told that the hotel has a No Smoking policy. A number of people ignored requests not to smoke in the outside dining area, others respectfully moved to a specific area with ash trays clearly allocated for their convenience. The inconsistency seems to stem from the Manager being a smoker herself. It was evident that staff had no power to enforce the rule when the Manager herself was lighting up whilst joining a table of guests. Finally, I have to sing the praises of the staff - in particular, the breakfast serving ladies, (apologies we didn't get your names!), Natalie & Sofia - the wonderfully efficient, courteous and very helpful girls serving dinner (& delicious strawberry margarita's!!) - and as previously mentioned, the housekeeping staff. We had a really lovely time.

It is the second time here (2015 first trip). Accomodation in Boutique Rooms (biger, ground floor, big balcony, quiet). The hotel 200 meter from the beach. Good position, near restaurants, near shops and pharmacy, 5-10 minutes from the ferry (by car). Excellent quality in the restaurant, they use best of products, nice a la carte dishes. The owner and the stuff very friendly. Clean and nice swimming pool, cool pool-bar. We will return for the 3rd thime for shure.

Nice location, relatively near to the beach. I had a good stay there for 5 days and I recommend them. Positive issues: - Good dinner, - decent breakfast, - Clean room and enough big for 2 - A quiet location -Nice swimming pool Negative things - Internet almost nonexistent in the room - The access to the "private" beach is not free, the same as for anybody else. Is not expensive but it does not matter if I am a guest of the hotel or not. - There is no sign with no smoking in the eating area. It is unpleasant to eat in the same place where others smoke. I think it is an european regulation in this matter which it is not respected - Noisy neighbours produced a little disturbance late in the night and the absolute surrounding silence amplified this. -

Once again a wonderful holiday at Louloudis, thanks to Thomi, Natalie and Sofia. The hotel is an adult only hotel which means it's peaceful and quiet. It is set in a beautiful location. Short walk to the beach, beach bar for lunch if you don't want to grab lunch at the hotel. The pool is lovely to swim in not too cold - perfect for cooling down on a hot day. The beds are not the most comfortable as I like quite a soft mattress and these are quite hard. I just made myself a mattress topper out of the blanket and all was good. The hotel is clean. Supermarket up the road, but we hire a car, I wouldn't fancy trying to get anything back in the heat. What makes this hotel is the staff. They are just wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. It was like coming home. We will be back next year for our fourth visit. It is our little haven.
