On a great spot, with a impressing view on the harbour, the centre of Pigadia and the sea, you can find the nice apartments of Dolphin. Quiet and yet close to the centre. Priced cheaper than the hotels, it makes it one of the best deals of the island. Air conditioned. Roomy, clean, with kitchenette, fridge and utensils will be saving you money if you are a small(2) or big family (5).

Simple but very clean apartment, close to the city centre. Highly recommend if you want a quiet room to stay. It is at the port and sometimes Ferries come but we enjoyed to see them. It wasn't disturbing at all. And enjoyed to fall asleep while I was listening the sounds of the sea. Sophia is a lovely, helpful person, hope to see her next year again!

Fourth time we have been to this hotel. Always the same charm, the same comfort. If you are looking for a peaceful location close to all shops and convenience this is the place. The owner is always so nice. A real mom to us and our son. We hope to come back soon :)

So this is one of the places that travel agency calls “quiet but close to the center”. And it would be if it wasn’t just above the main ferry and big transportation ships harbor. They are docking day and night during the season and sometimes oil tankers are staying for over 20h unloading the petrol. So bring some earplugs! Also garbage tracks are coming every day at 7 am, with more noise Studios and apartments are spacious and cleaning is good. Balconies and terraces are also big and have great sunset view

We (the family of three, teenage daughter), were Sofia's guests at the end of low season 2018. (14./24. 06.), lucky to move in rooms (2 big ones) with biggest balcony (2nd floor). And we'll be back, for sure! not only for owner's proffesional but warm reception, daily cleaning and good wifi... we're grateful to find THE BEST LOCATION in Pigadia on our first visit to Karpathos island: since we all have different needs, this particular point made the best of 11days vacation possible. - for the active one: every morning, from Dolphin Apartments, take a walk by the sea bank, enjoy peace and quiet, easy sunbeam (through the center, up and down, or by marina bay), than continue to the end of pedestrian road (parallel to the very long beach), pass by all those runners and yogins doing their morning routines ("sun salutation", "five tibetans", etc.) inhaling sea breeze... and then get back barefoot through the shallow water, proceed and enter the center to sip a italian esspreso with danish waffles or get some fruits and veggies, pastries on a wayback to the room... cca 8km on your pedometer! - meanwhile, the passive one (waking up after 9am) will do all the networking needed to be done in the room (kettle, toaster,... and still plenty of plugging for all your apps and devices!); ... and the little one is probably absorbing Karpathos on the terrace: ears, eyes and nostrils full! (deep shadow until 11 am); - be sure to make pause during strong sun (from 11am till 16pm... don`t be fooled by wind): cover your legs, arms and head! Since Dolphin Apartments are situated at one end of town, (just above the dock - ferries are easy to be spoted and be heard) use it to know Pigadia better! cuisine is mild and organic, people very relaxed... or plan a trip to explore Karpathos - bus station is 10 minutes away, or better yet - rent a car! There are many different beaches and good road ahead... - those few hours will fly in different taverna/restaurant/pasticceria each day (it's not easy to choose), and you will be still very close both to your apt and beach! another stroll by the beach to one of many cafe and family run restaurants (free wifi) will provide a good digestion! - after all that swimming and healthy tanning, you'll be back in your Dolphin apt as you mingle with the rest of thankful tourists through the Pigadia town with the biggest smile ever! what I like the most about Dolphin Hotel Apartments? the fact that it made possible to be in the town and at the beach whole day and night! Everything is just a feet away, but far enough to get some peace... but I must add something (about "peaceful and quiet place to rest and recuperate"): those ferries and boat horn are not loud - you are, my dear fellow travelers!!! take it easy on door handle, furniture and bath... we all live on the same planet (and share the same hotel apartment)... let's share a nice holiday memories!…

We stayed at Dolphin's for 10 days and really enjoyed it. Perfect position, clean rooms, beautiful view, awakening with the sound of waves...very hospitable hotel owner Sofia and service as well... My recommendation for this place definitely...

My wife and me visited Karpathos in July 2017. The apartment was very clean and confortable. The position was perfect and very quiet, it was near the center. Sofia is adorable, this is the best place in Pigadia.

A wonderful place to spend a summer vacation. The room was spacious, as was the balcony. It was clean and you have assistance any time. The utilities are OK. You don't need AC cos it's windy just enough to keep you cool. It is in the port, at the very end of the town corso. The Corso is closed for traffic from 7pm to 1 am. There are bodegas and supermarkets near. Loads of cafés and restaurants within 10-minute walk! Shops well supplied. There is a rocky beach in front of the studio. The only problem is noise every other night due to ferry arrival. Otherwise, a great place altogether. We're going there again! FYI, rent rooms on the 2nd and third floor... Magnificent view!!!!

We stayed at Dolphin's for 10 days and really enjoyed it. The studios are positioned as to be in the hearth of the village, but yet you have your piece and quite in the evening. We were awaken by the sound of the sea and it cannot get better than that. Our room was comfortable, extremely clean and had all the amenities we needed. Safety is also something you can really count on when staying here. The studios are also close to all the facilities you may need during your stay (e.g., shopping zone, supermarket, bus and taxi station, ...) Karpathos is a wonderful island, but what made our stay even more great was our lodging at the Dolphin's. Thank you for that!

We stayed 10 days at Dolphin Studio and we can say that those are great apartments where you have everything you need, with a wonderful sea view. You can easily sleep with the sound of the sea, it is really relaxing. You are close to many shops, restaurants, bakery and pastry shops. Bus station is very near, 5 minutes walk, if you want to explore other places and beaches.The city beach is 15 minutes walk. In front of the apartment is also a small beach where you can also go for a short swimming. It is clean and enjoyable. The host, lady Sofia is really nice and friendly, she always wants to give you an advice and provide help if you need. It is always clean and neat in the apartment. Mrs. Sofia really takes care of you and makes an effort that you feel pleasant and like at home. We are delighted with our accomodation and wish our host all the best in the future!…

We spent 10 days in Karpathos town – Pigadia, and we were accommodated in Dolphin Apartments. Although we expected modest accommodation according to the available images, we were very, very surprised. The location is great, and the rooms have a very nice sea view and partially view of Pigadia town and harbor. The rooms are also spacious and clean with new and functional furniture; the kitchen is supplied with all necessary appliances; the bathroom is clean and enough spacious. The personnel are very kind but I would specially like to emphasize the hospitality and warmth of the owner of the Dolphin Apartments lady Sofia, who is very friendly and willing to help and advice whenever you need. If you are looking for pleasant accommodation with good price, location and comfortable rooms – the Dolphin Apartments are the best choice in Pigadia.…
