Andros holiday hotel was the worst hotel I ever stayed and trust me, I travel a lot. Apart from the fact that it is super old as a building and with an old fashion design, this hirel has nothing to give you. Both lobby and rooms were dirty, in our room the shower's door was missing for no reason, no enough light in the bathroom, the towels were torn, just one usable socket in the room and not even close to the bet or a place you could sit... the swimming pool is extremely deep and TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE FOR CHILDREN! Please dont let your children EVER play in such a swimming pool: it is very deep and old, you can be hurt at every corner of it. The breakfast was just nothing. No refill of the buffet, once we went to eat at 9.30 and there were just eggs and cheese. I know that the hotel once must been a great hotel, maybe during the 80s. No it's just a nuisance for the visitors.

Me and my family, four total, booked three rooms. Within the first day, we noticed two of our ACs did not function properly, my sisters leaked water into her room, mine simply did not work. They sent someone to fix this after about a day. My fridge leaked the entire stay despite raising the issue. The rooms are small but nice, no complaints except there is no energy socket near the bed. Very annoying when you want to get work done. The hotel staff were a mix of friendly and unfriendly. The cleaning staff were rude and almost hostile should you dare stay in your room past 10, but the rest of the staff was ok, nothing special. One of the receptionists was nice and helpful, she deserved the tip she received. The hotel as a whole is a bit run down and despite claims on TripAdvisor that they fixed this, they did not. Everything looks and feels old. However my biggest complaint is the cleaning. The first day my sister was met with a cup with hairs of the previous visitor which the cleaning staff dumped her toothbrush in, I personally was met with a toilet that was still full of the previous occupant's waste. Unpleasant. Near the end of my stay the bathroom smelled horrid, basically like a sewer. Merely opening the door to the bathroom was enough to make nearly anyone gag. Nothing was done about this despite raising the issue multiple times. Overall the hotel could be amazing and for the price it is currently at, its acceptable, but it is a lot of wasted potential.

I love this hotel, it has the perfect location and wonderful facilities for enjoying your holiday: lovely little beach and a crystal clear pool, good breakfast. It is also within a short walking distance from the port of Gavrio, where there are several bars and restaurants.

Very convenient location to the port &village.5 min drive away. The hotel looked like it was grand one day, long ago. The hotel looked abandoned now with only 1 car in the parking lot. We walked in the front entrance noticing that the gardens needed TLC. The lobby is massive and has a grand appearance. The view out to the sea is spectacular! 5* The room door is plain wooden door. It locks by pushing a button on the door knob. No dead bolts, chains, or real secure door locks. The room was small with a double bed. Heavily painted orange/white walls and ceiling. 3* No decor on the walls. Just old left over hooks. Only one person can walk by the bottom of the bed at a time. The double doors open to the fantastic view but the balcony was tiny with 2 chairs and a small table. The bathroom had a very old vacuum like hair dryer. No bath mat for the floor. Dining and drinks take place at the pool bar and pool restaurant. The pool chairs are very old. The cement pool is large and deep with diving board. There is also a decent sandy beach area that no one told us about. We were the only people eating dinner there. Breakfast is served in the upstairs hall in buffet style. The cleaners were noisy in the hallways with their mops. The employees are wonderful trying hard to please us serving food. It is sad, as I think this has real potential to be a great spot. Owner should invest money to upgrade rooms, pool chairs, gardening of weeds, and flowers It could be grand once again if only......
