Ernando, Egki and Giannis very friendly and helpful! Lovely people and good drinks! Good resort and would recommend. Alpha beer on Draught, all inclusive worth it. Live music on most nights and good access to pool and lounges! Enjoyed our stay.

Hotel's Favorite
I visited Michelangelo in Sept 2022 on a solo trip and was not disappointed. I arrived early morning and was swiftly checked in with a complimentary drink and taken to my room on a golf buggy. The room was excellent and to a good standard. I was closer to the main restaurant area but noise wasn’t an issue and still had a great view looking out towards the sea. I spent the majority of my time around the infinity pool, I am an early riser so never had an issue with getting a decent spot. The beds are comfy and perfect for a relaxing day around the pool. It can get a little windy so I recommend the towel pegs! I visited the beach a few times which was clean and always had beds spare. The beach bar is also handy! I 100% recommend getting up early at least once on your trip and watching the sunrise from the beach - it is spectacular! The staff throughout the resort are all so friendly. With it being my first solo holiday I was a little nervous I wouldn’t speak to anyone all week but I was wrong. The pool bar staff (apologies I can’t remember names) were always so welcoming and checked in how my trip was going. They made an effort to remember drinks orders too which was a nice, personal touch. The reception staff were extremely helpful with advising how to get into Kos town and recommending other things to do on the island. I booked into the Asian restaurant one night and the food was excellent - definitely recommend booking in here during your stay. The food at the buffet was always well presented and tasty with a good variety. It can get quite busy in the main restaurant but I never had an issue getting a table or waiting for food. An iced coffee in a morning from the pool bar goes down a treat! I also took advantage of the spa and had a massage which I totally recommend doing. The resort itself is out the way making it quite quiet which is exactly what I wanted. Having said this, the bus into Kos town is regular and only cost a few Euros. There’s a supermarket just outside the hotel if needed and Agios Fokas beach is just down the road. I visited Therma beach - I walked and it took around 45 minutes but it’s also accessible by bus/car. It was worth the trip but does get quite busy so be prepared to share a small beach with many tourists. Overall I couldn’t fault my trip in any way. I would go as far as saying it was perfect and I would 100% return in the future. Thank you for an exceptional stay!

Having spent 5 days at the resort it’s been a fantastic experience. I have an issue with guests reviewing this hotel with the expected “it’s not 5*” comment. For any experienced traveller its very obvious this place deserves the classification, especially if you put it against other local hotels at the 4*level. Of course there are other locations that offer a higher level of 5*, but they aren’t at this price point. The staff are very friendly, but as usual it helps to be friendly back. It’s s large hotel so you aren’t going to have staff following you around. Food and drinks are at good level and we were impressed with the care and how everything is presented. For anyone moaning… go spend more money.

Pure perfection. It is honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I recommend upgrading to a room with a sea view, as the views are breathtaking and make the stay so special. The room was immaculately clean and had tea and coffee, fresh bottles of water were provided every day in the mini fridge. On our arrival, we were offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco and were taken to our room by a buggy and our bags were taken to our rooms. There was a complimentary bottle of wine, a fruit bowl and a sandwich in the fridge as we had arrived too late to use the restaurant, which is a lovely touch. Cleaning service was every day with fresh towels. The hotel's infinity pool is fabulous. The staff are all lovely and go out of their way to help make your stay as relaxed as possible. The whole set up is absolutely perfect for a holiday - great food, entertainment and a mini market - we didn't want to come home! Thank you to everyone who made our stay so very special...to the front desk, the lovely lady in reception who assists guests, the waiting, bar and chamber staff - you really work so hard to ensure we all have a great holiday and it is super appreciated. We will definitely return.

We have just checked out of the Michelangelo Resort & Spa and to say we are disappointed with our stay here would be an understatement. We were completely sold on the photos of the beautiful infinity pool and views, modern decor & overall luxury feel of this hotel. The only thing that has lived up to our expectation is the infinity pool and view. As a 5* establishment, we were expecting 5* treatment which we sadly did not get. Upon arrival, we were approached by the hotel porter who took our suitcases to reception & offered us a welcome drink. The lady who checked us in at reception was friendly, explained everything about our stay. We were originally booked for Half Board and she did ask if we would like to upgrade to All Inclusive, which we did on our second day. Well worth it as it’s €35 per person per day, lunch on the first day cost us €48 alone for buffet lunch and 2 drinks. The porter (very friendly!) then took us to our room, 1029. The room was pleasant enough, fully equipped with everything you need. Couldn’t work out how to use the safe so we didn’t use it! Nice Rituals toiletries in the bathroom and across the hotel. Bed was good super king size, pillows for me were a bit too soft but that’s personal preference. Now for the part that lets the whole hotel down. Meal times at the main restaurant were just awful. Waiting staff were unattentive, we had to flag them down for even basic things like getting cutlery! This morning for breakfast we weren’t even asked for tea or coffee, despite the waiter walking past us numerous times. In the end we gave up as this was just the norm at mealtimes! At a 5 star hotel, we do not expect to have to chase a waiter to get a drink of water or cutlery to eat our meal, which they were not even apologetic about. Secondly, the staff are not friendly or approachable at the bar areas. Not a smile in sight, but able to smile when in each others company all gathered around on their phones. At the main bar area, we ordered some drinks one afternoon and I went to go sit down. I was quite shocked to see the guy behind the bar was staring at me trying to get my attention to go and collect the drinks from the bar. Again, we don’t expect this at a 5* hotel! On our first day, my partner went to the pool bar to ask for a towel, the man behind the bar was very rude and unhelpful and just pointed lazily at the towel kiosk and said “10 o clock”. The guest experience manager was very friendly, we booked to eat at the a la carte restaurants. Service was slightly better down there but still not 5*. The Asian restaurant is definitely worth going to more than the Mediterranean, however the champagne breakfast was delightful. I did read the reviews before coming here and was slightly concerned, however took them on the chin. Sadly we would not return to this hotel.

Really do not know where to start. From the moment we arrived after a long journey, the night manager on the desk greeted us with a smile and informed us that there was a snack in our room as we had missed dinner. There were also welcome drinks on arrival. The staff throughout the stay were amazing, from the housekeeping, restaurant, porters and bar service. Special mention to Janice bar manager who was always around to ensure excellent service. Even though a 5 * hotel, it was not pretentious but friendly. Food was superb with it's selection and quality. We tried the two special restaurants in the hotel, Mediterranean and Asian. Again, the food and service was amazing. The gentleman in the Mediterranean restaurant was fabulous as regards knowledge but cannot remember the name ( P. Captain) I think. The hotel is spotless and quiet and a 15 minute bus journey from Kos. Would need a car if so not want to use the bus. Pool areas were fab especially the main pool. So big, separate kids area and a quiet pool. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with fidge and hairdryer. Oh! The view is spectacular from the pool.

We stayed in the Michelangelo resort from the 21st - 28th of may. After a pretty long ride with the transfer bus (stopped a lot of other hotels in Kos City, so slow traffic) we arrived in the hotel. After a smooth checkin we were taken to our rooms with a golf kart. The hotel has an infinity pool which is nice. But there are a lot of sunbeds around it, so it feels kind of cramped. And after 10 you will not find a free one left. The poolbar has friendly & busy barmen/women. One weird thing is that they did not want to make a Black Russian as it was not included in the all-in menu. But they would serve a wodka & kahlua seperately... The other pool is less crowded but the bar was not open there, so if you would like a drink you'd have to walk... The hotel also has a private beach with a bar. The beach also didn't feel as crowded as the infinity pool because there was more space between the beds & rows. Food is served in the main restaurant, there was plenty of choice and everything was hot enough. The spa is pretty expensive, 50€ for a 25min massage. The fitness needs to be booked a day in advance which is a little strange, but it also has hardly any equipment, so we skipped that after the first time we went.

I have just spent a week here at the Michelangelo with my two children aged 8 and 10. I was a little apprehensive travelling without my husband but we felt so safe and well looked after..The staff were so friendly and the biggest asset to this hotel. One lady went out of her way to find me after I left my AirPods behind at the pool restaurant. The food was fantastic with huge choices at each meal. One night we ate at the Asian restaurant where the sushi was delicious. We spent most of our days by the most amazing infinity pool with breath taking views. Right outside the door of the hotel we caught a bus into Kos port where we did the 3 island boat trip. My children really enjoyed this day trip. The weather was beautiful here this week. It was just a bit windy one of the days. Thanks to all at the Michelangelo for the most wonderful holiday in Kos. Mairead from Ireland

Having been given this holiday as a 60th birthday present by my Daughter and Son, I must say that the hotel was excellent, our room was magnificent, having a sea view with nothing but a beautiful view. The room was fully equipped with a fridge and tea, coffee and a separate coffee machine. The maid service was excellent, they couldn’t do enough and were very friendly. The hotel food was magnificent, there was something for everyone, there was also 2 speciality restaurants, The Mediterranean and the Asian, these could be booked for one night each while you stayed at the hotel for the week. The food was delicious. The pool area was extremely clean, and there was also the beach, where you could get a sun bed and relax and enjoy. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and accommodating. The guest relations and events lady was helpful with booking bikes for the day and the restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel.
