The main problem I have with this hotel is the room. The bed is really uncomfortable. It comes with a soft top mattress that slips off. Not all windows are covered properly against the light. So it's too bright during a summer night. If you are a light sleeper like me, that's a problem. The bathroom only has a shower... More

We had a terrible night at Bryggehotel. Just opposite of the hotel is a bar with loud music and shouting people in the street. Could not sleep until 3:00 in the morning. That happens every Friday according to locals. Not acceptable for a hotel of that standard to offer rooms where it is impossible to sleep.

We booked a double room with sea view. This mens that you do not get a view over the parking, but not necessarily with a sea view. Some water view yes Room was tiny, which goes for bathroom facilities. Impossible to shower without making wet the entire toilet. Room had no charm. I would expect more at that price level.... More

We stayed here 3 nights in July after 4 nights in Reine. The hotel is in a pretty location in the middle of the harbour at Henningsvaer. Parking can be a problem in high season as although there is a large car park in the village it is extremely popular with day trippers, coaches, and camper vans. We had a... More

This modern hotel is built on a pier, looking out over the harbour, and across to the mountains - probably the most picturesque location one could imagine! Rooms are small, but with a good bathroom (with a real bath!) Breakfast was good, and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.

The hotel is in the centre of town and built on a pier (hence Bryggehotel). It offers kayak tours and rental bikes right at the hotel. The breakfasts are very good with the dining room overlooking the harbour. We had rooms on the ground floor which were small and overlooked a lane. The lane had a very good poster of... More

Henningsvaer is a most beautiful village in a most amazing spot. And the Bryggehotel offers the right type of accommodation to enjoy this very special part of the Lofoten Islands. It's situated at the edge of the village. Parking nearby. The style of the hotel is simple and elegant. Wooden floors with Persian carpets. Lovely deck. Good restaurant. Excellent breakfast.... We stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely room overlooking the harbour. We thought the decor here was very nice, contemporary but in keeping with the property. Very good staff, good restaurant, superb buffet breakfast and free tea, coffee and biscuits all day and no problem about taking these up to your room. We didn't have dinner in... More

We had a two day reservation for this hotel in our Jonas ScanBrit holiday. It is a very well situated hotel, the best in Henningvaer. The staff is nice and helpfull. The restaurant is good with interesting menu with a lot of fishdishes. One remark, we found the rooms a bit too small, the bathroom is rather larger for the... More

Very nice staff and clean modern hotell. Very good food, a bit expensive but worth it. Som noise from the "klatrekaffe" best to have room toward the harbour. But not big problem. If you rent car it is not a long drive too Svolvær but by bicycle it is som tunnels that is uncomfortable to cycle through. Tnx for the... More

Henningsvaer Bryggehotell The charming fishing village of Henningsvaer is situated on several islands. This cluster of islands are surrounded by impressive mountains that steeply rises up from the salty Lofoten sea. There are no shopping centres here, instead there are lots of small and cosy shops, studios, galleries and places to eat.
