I have just come back from 10 nights at this hotel and wanted to write an honest review of good and bad points, it was a last minute booking and good value so we went with it. Also I will give so tips if you stay here. We arrived around midnight and was greeted by a lovely gentleman behind reception who offered us water and pizza as everything was closed however we was tired so didn’t bother. We stayed in the garden rooms out the back of the complex and I have to say these were very tired looking with a few issues and very noisy to sleep in especially the traffic and dogs barking during the night, however the plus side the cleaners came in everyday and done a good job. We had a balcony with a sea view which was a plus as I wasn’t expecting it, however the let down was it looked on to a waste dumping ground so it spoilt the overall look. The pool area is lovely with a bar and eating area, yes the water is very cold but I always find pools abroad freezing. The food in the pool eating area was really nice with huge portions so would recommend that. There was activities around the pool everyday by a very happy chappy. There is a very steep walk down to the beach area so be careful especially on loose paving, yes I believe you have to pay for the beds down there however we went down and left our bits on the side wall to enjoy the warm sea. The main restaurant, very busy and sometimes it was a free for all especially trying to find Cutlery, cups and bowls however we found the staff helpful if asked. The issue I had with the food is everything was just luke warm even though it looks steaming it really wasn’t so we ended up eating out most nights but on the plus side the desserts was very nice so offered popped in for that. Out and about tips, the local bus stops just outside the hotel and is very easy to use, we went to Rhodes town 3 different times and it’s €2.50 pp each way and takes about 15mins, they run late into the night. A trip on the bus to Lindos again from outside the hotel was €5.00pp each way takes around 1 hour the buses to here do get very busy and it’s busy when you get there with lots of walking, however seems to quieten down after 3pm. If you want a nice sandy beach then head to Kalami beach which is a 25-30 min walk to the right of the hotel or a couple of bus stops. Kallithea springs 20 min walk to the left of the hotel another must see if you visit the island as it’s so pretty, €4 each to get in and if you want a bed it’s €20 for two beds with water and two cold drinks and you can stay the whole day, food is available which was very nice. Another little hidden village is Koskinou, quite a walk if you are up for it but I think there is a little train that you can catch behind the bus stop across the road from the hotel if not. Overall we’ve had a Lovely holiday and made the most of the sightseeing on the island. The hotel is definitely not a 4star in my eyes however there is some very nice parts to it and it was a good base to get around the island. I have inserted some photos of our stay.

Hotel's Favorite
I stayed here with my partner and another couple, transfers were quick and easy and check in too, our room was a little bit of a walk which isn’t an issue, an escort to the room first night would have been good though, took us a while to find it. Upon checking in the staff at the lobby bar were kind enough to make our group toasties with crisps which was much appreciated as it was about 2am and we hadn’t ate in a while. Rooms were a good size and comfortable, cleaned daily, and a beautiful view, a/c is great also. The rest of the hotel is kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Food- there was always something to eat at breakfast, the food is a little different than what I’m used to in Scotland but I never went hungry and it was all cooked well, dinner was good, something different every night and the deserts were lovely. The lunch bar down by the pool was lovely also. Location- in a great spot only a short taxi ride away from both faliraki one was and the old town the other, close to the water park, right next to the beach, can’t fault it. Staff- the staff were great, especially maritiana and arta down by the pool bar who were so nice and friendly and made our stay even better and Petros and Maria in the lobby bar. We oversell had a great stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel

The room was very clean and the location was good. Most of the staff were really friendly and that's where it ends I'm afraid. All cooked food, breakfast and dinner was cold, not helped by the fact the dining room was cold. The outdoor pool was ridiculously cold, no one stayed in for more than 5 minutes because you would end up with hypothermia! We went in to the sea, which was much warmer than the pool. We also had a swim up room which we didn't take advantage of because, again, the water was so cold. Would NOT stay here again. There was limited choice for vegan and vegetarian, on our last night the choice was so poor it was salad or salad!

We stayed for two weeks at the hotel. We found all of the staff extremely friendly and welcoming. The animation team were great fun providing activities during the day and evening if you wished to join in. We were half board and found the food and choice very good. The staff in the Olympia restaurant especially Margarita, Rafail and Ayya made us feel very special. The hotel has a great pool area and views across the bay to Rhodes town. We also went to the beach it’s a short walk from the pool and although stoney it’s good for snorkelling. There is a bus stop outside the hotel from which you can get to practically anywhere on the island. We visited Rhodes old town, Kallithea, Faliraki and Lindos. From Rhodes town you can get to Butterfly valley and Symi.

Stayed here for a week with my partner, we arrived around 10pm & was given a voucher for bottles of water & a free pizza which was disgusting! One bite & it was in the bin! Reception staff were rude especially the women with short hair! Rooms are very basic, the air conditioning is absolute crap, can’t use it when the patio door is open & it took us 3 visits to reception to get it fixed. Our room over looked 10 huge fans & the noise dsy & night was unbelievable, again complained but told I’ll speak to my manager in the morning till then basically put up or shut up! Pro’s are the animation staff he was great & so friendly & a lady that worked in the pool restaurant. Pool was nice with ample sun beds. The beach is a no go really & a trek too & full of huge rocks & stones. Also if you want to eat a decent meal Rhodes town or faliraki is your best options as no where no by.. bus is the best mode of transport as taxis not cheap. All in all I wouldn’t stay here again

We stayed here for week. Beautiful hotel. Very clean. I personally loved location. We got a beautiful sea view. And for us it was not a big deal to jump in and take a bus to faliraki or Rhodes town. Or simply take a taxi from a station very near from hotel. From hotel one taxi for 1-4 person to Rhodes city costs 11 euros. Food served at breakfast and dinner is very good too, and variety changes daily so you don't have to eat same things day and night. I appreciated local food served but there were always many options for people who chose to eat something like French fries, pasta or pizza. To me it was 5 star experience since it was everything we wanted and got a great value for the money! But I understand that some people they prefer more to stay nearby Rhodes town, or all-inclusive. Some people also get suprised that when you choose something else than all-inclusive, it also means that mostly everything will cost you extra from drinks, to safetybox and wifi etc. Pool area was very clean and enjoyable too. Something I never thought I would enjoy and take a part in was activities in hotel. They are something I skip usually very gladly. But I have to tell you that activities here were very fun and animator Kiko is amazing personality! As a person who shys away from every group activities, suddenly I found myself dancing Sirtaki many nights and taking part to aquaZumba etc. Special thanks to him, I had really fun time and will always remember that! All around hotel service is very good and friendly. I want to give special thanks to Panagiotis and our waitress Vania. You made this hotel stay go from 4 stars to 5 star stay. Even though in Greece and Rhodes you do get very good service from workers in tourist industry, you both went over that and it was very easy to tell that you are a big addition to how this hotel is experienced. I have to give special thanks and credit to these 3 staff members. Our room was modern, beautiful, and ac is super powerful to mention! Oh and also room service is very good, we were a little bit unsure about their cleaning schedules and we didn't know that we have to leave yes/no sign for cleaners if we want room cleaned or not, but cleaners came always when we called and asked for cleaning or new towels before we understood the sign system. (at any time). And they cleaned even the floors of our room, when they arrived. Our room and all public areas around hotel were very tidy and shining clean and it was very enjoyable. All in all to sum it up this hotel was ecxactly made for our needs and was worth more than we paid in my opinion. I was pleasantly suprised. And I do recommend this hotel to especially adults who don't mind staying few minutes drive away from Rhodes town and who are not afraid to jump in bus or taxi, or rent a car to see the island. Don't hesitate, because all these options are made really easy if you stay in this hotel. I really recommend this hotel for people who enjoy peaceful stay and clean places, no extra noises or people roaming around from other hotels. It felt a little bit more private to stay here when I compare to other resorts and that was something I really love. Just excellent. I will come back to this resort for sure.

We stayed here this year with the family and we had a great time, the location is quite good few shops about a 10 minute walk away, Falaraki isn't far on the bus if you want abit of nightlife or shopping. The Hotel is decent with a great pool and a few activities throughout the day to get involved in. We were half board and the food was okay but not much variety, the staff in the restaurant were all lovely and very welcoming (Margarita, Rafail,Anna). I would recommend this hotel because it was definitely worth the price we paid.

- I stayed with my wife for one full week at the beginning of September 2022. - I had corresponded with the hotel well in advance and requested a room not far walking distance from the main facilities. - Also I mentioned that we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. - We arrived already at 1pm which was early, but this was no problem and we were given a room very near the lift on second floor which was near to all facilities. - This was a great plus! - The staff in reception were very helpful. - I had informed in advance that we needed gluten-free food for my wife and lactose-free dairy products. - This was handled very well. - On the first evening the head chef from the kitchen personally showed us around the buffet table pointing out the gluten-free foods which were the majority. - He did this on some other evenings also.- Wonderful, helpful professional worker! - The main gluten-free exceptions were the deserts and breads. - However the chef actually made my wife a personal gluten-free cake desert one evening which was wonderful. - We had really no problems with the food. Also at breakfast the staff provided my wife with gluten free bread and brought us lactose -free milk to our table. Wonderful! - We wish to thank Katerina and Marina in the restaurant for their attention, help and service. - On two occasions they specially prepared a “Reserved table” nicely decorated. - Hard working ladies! Thanks! - The lady on the second floor who cleaned our room daily was very helpful. She quickly changed our bed pillows which were very large to smaller ones. - The hotel, even though it is older is spotless clean and well maintained. - The pool area always had plenty of sun-beds and is kept very clean. - We had small problems with the air-condition and one of the lights in the bedroom but these were fixed very quickly. - Sometimes the noise in the late evenings was disturbing due to our room location. - All in all we had a very pleasant, easy week. All the staff we encountered were helpful and happy. - The price / quality was in balance. - Satisfied and thankful!

My wife and I stayed here with our adult daughter and her boyfriend for 7 nights. When we arrived it was past midnight but we were greeted with a pizza and a drink from the bar. We booked two rooms but the morning after we arrived we were offered a family apartment which was very spacious with two double rooms, two bathrooms and large living area overlooking the pool and the sea. The hotel was very clean, staff we extremely friendly and helpful and food was good. There was always something for everyone at breakfast and evening meal. The pool bar and restaurant were very good value for money and the pool area itself was always clean. Hotel bar was good and reasonably priced. All in all a very nice hotel.

We stayed 7 of us at Kresten Palace including 3 children and it was a great stay, we really enjoyed the facilities and the staff was great especially Vana & Irini in the restaurant who took care of us every night! The entertainment was great too, my son enjoyed the kids disco on a night time! We had a slight issue with our room which was resolved and rooms was switched. It’s a great location as in close to Rhodes town and a regular bus stop outside! Only downside would be that there are no irons in the room and you are charged to use them which wasn’t helpful but otherwise I would return.
