My 6 year old son and I have just come back from 11 days at the Eden Roc. I nearly cried when I left! We have had a fabulous time and would recommend to others. The location is fantastic - not far from airport, 10 mins from Rhodes Town and the private beach / cove is heavenly. It's like getting into a warm bath! The water is so clear - we loved snorkelling every day and we much preferred the pebble beach to a sandy one - less mess!
The hotel room was nice. Nothing special to be honest and a little dated. Would have been lovely to have had a fitted airer on the balcony instead of having to hang everything over the chairs and railing to dry. The communal areas in the hotel are very clean and welcoming. The shop is great - and very fairly priced. The kids disco was too young for my boy, which was a shame as he loves to dance, so i was grateful for the arcade room, although spent more in there than i had wanted to!
The evening entertainment, i thought, was amazing. We were thoroughly entertained every night. We enjoyed bingo too but you have to pay to play.
We never struggled for a sun lounger - it was great the hotel left a small stack of spares in each location. If I couldn't have found one, i felt confident the hotel would have helped me find one.
The slide pool was much loved by my boy and the lifeguard there made it all so much fun.
The 'big pool' is salt water, which took some getting used to, but it is brilliant it is so huge and we never collided with anyone whilst playing on our lilo!!!
The food is incredible, we loved the buffet restaurant - there was so much choice and i never felt bored of it. Breakfast is a little chaotic and they did run out of coffee cups by 10am a couple of times, but eventually they would find me one once the dishwasher was emptied! The restaurants are amazing - we particularly loved the Greek one and they catered very well to my son. We were thrilled.
The hallways and stairways desperately needed a vac whilst we were there and the top of the skirting boards on our hallway were thick with dust, this was a real shame as the rest of the hotel is so lovely. There are a few cracked tiles that need sorting and some of the steps' lips around the pool showers could do with sorting out and making clearer. The communal toilets also needed cleaning a little more frequently. But none of this took away our joy. The reception staff are lovely and were always smiling and asking us if we were okay.
Overall, I was thrilled with the hotel, was never bored or desperate to get out and about as it feels so spacious, esp with the restaurants.

Having decided to try Mediterranean Islands this was our 4th one following 5 star hotels in Cyprus, Malta, Crete and now Rhodes and it was easily the best so far following a 10 day stay from 9th October 2024.
Firstly the people both at the hotel and on the Island are so friendly and helpful. All the guest relations and restaurant staff were outstanding particularly Tsampikos who booked all the A la cart restaurants and nothing was too much trouble for him Thank you. Talking of the restaurants, having 9 different ones was one of the main reasons for booking, along with the location near beautiful Rhodes old town which was 20 minutes in a taxi (as was the airport). The main buffet restaurant was always excellent so if you didn't have a booking in one of the others this was always available and sometimes in the evening we had a little starter course in here before going to one of the others where we had a reservation, as it had things you didn't want to miss! It could do with better hot plates though as some of the food was only just warm. The Greek restaurant by the Beach did both the best daytime and evening menu. booking needed for the evenings only.
The bedrooms were modern and well furnished and the air conditioning was ok and reasonably quiet on the lowest setting. I had a sea view room which was lovely and on the quiet side overlooking the Beach. The other block had rooms overlooking the main bar and swimming pool on the right which was not so quiet at night until the bar closed.
Only 1 main Adult pool (2 kids pools 1 with water slides which is well placed up in the gardens away from the beach and main pool ) Overall, a great experience at Eden Roc. 5* people, food, drinks, rooms, sun loungers and salt water pool. Will definitely return and I rarely do that but it really exceeded my high expectations.

We had a lovely stay here and we would rate 5* to the massage team, we had a lovely massage and staff knowledgable and friendly. Would also give 5* to the staff in the grill restaurant and the staff on the beach bar and Italian restaurant. We had a later checkout time of 11am as our pick up time wasn’t until 7pm due to an evening flight. However the hotel offered a free curtosy room for half an hour to freshen up in which was helpful. However they told us we had half an hour but then would phone us 10 minutes before we were due out, to chase us to see if we were finished. Some things we found could be improved upon were: Tea, coffee and milk wasn’t topped up in our room throughout our stay. Had to keep asking reception or taking some from the buffet. Cleaner would just knock and walk straight into room, could do with signs to put on door handles to say do not disturb or ready to be cleaned. Cleaner left our balcony door wide open making the room temperature high and our belongings unsecure. We chose a garden view room but didn’t see any benefit booking this as couldn’t see garden due to big tree blocking the sun and view. Also don’t get to use the pool nearby, or the lounge 800. Couldn’t get into three of the A La Carte restaurants despite trying to book when we arrived which is disappointing. Possibly not enough restaurants for the amount of people.

Very mixed for us on family holiday with an 18 month old
Pros The staff absolutely they worked so hard, run off feet in a busy resort The play park for kids was great Pools gorgeous to look at Entertainment team & mini disco for kids Champagne and wine bar Lovely soft toy on arrival for our wee 1 after a long flight Ice cream bar and patisserie Shop on site lovely Good shower and toiletries
Cons Unfortunately quite a few things
Cleanliness- our room had ants, we reported this to reception at 0900 and at 1600 whilst getting ready to go out for dinner they finally came to clean our room No beach towels in room on day 1 Cleaning cart outside room blocking pram constantly for entire week Double room with 2 single beds Phone did not work in room and I can see on another review this was reported previously and not fixed High chairs rarely cleaned properly - not enough staff Pools and drains around pools quite dirty
Swimming pools whilst lovely to look at rarely used as too cold, our 18 month old dipped her toes in occasionally but didn’t benefit from the pool
Food - we arrived late at night approx 1am and tried to book with guest relations the next morning at 9am for some of the a la carts, very difficult as mostly full we had no chance of eating at the Asian or Peruvian for entire stay. Buffet was variable sometimes cold, could never get coffee cup at any point in the morning for 5 mornings straight We were told to come back and ask about cancellations for a la carte as we were clearly disappointed but settled for Italian and grill which were decent and all we could get unless we took an 8.30pm slot
I ordered a cake which I paid £20 for for my partners birthday which never came, it took me 3 days to obtain a refund as reception sent me to guest relations and each staff members kept fobbing me off to the original staff member we spoke to
Noise - we had to make a noise complaint as 1 night there were men in the room next door (we think maybe the entertainment as they were dressed smartly and gone next day) so loud that we could have been in the party, nothing could be done about noise until after 2330 meaning 2 trips to reception
Reading reviews I think staying in the villas with the 800 lounge would be a different experience possibly

We had a great time I would definitely return We went beginning of may Room/hotel Hotel clean spacious a great beach location personally I even like the shingle as not a fan of sand when you dry the shingle just flicks off. Arrived at 2pm 3 rooms ready 1 room was not ready till 7 pm this is not really exceptable when we booked a year in advance also rooms were not together was scattered Along the corridor. The up side to this we did get to keep 2 rooms till 6pm on the day we left which was really handy as we had a late flight home. The room itself was clean and spacious The mini bar does not get refill nore does tea and coffee replenished
Food Buffet lovely I would rate this over the a la carte Resturant Loads of choice and sooo yummy We had a coeliac vegetarian with us and she pretty much lived on salad pizza and pasta Basilica Italian was not great food lamb lovely, pasta dishes not so much 2 of our group left to go to the buffet Drinks are great and plentiful every where.
Staff Can not do enough for you 98% of staff are in good moods friendly just a 2% are on the miserable side (but to be fair I could not do this job hence why I don’t) and some guests can be rather rude so maybe they encountered one of them on certain days. 😂 Dimitris bar tender always has a kind word and a smile on his face Yoga instructor and events lady she is hyper fun it’s a must to do her classes
Our 5 night break only cost £630 that’s all inclusive flights and transfer so happy bunnies.

We stayed in the 800 block as a family of 3. This was a lovely relaxing holiday for us all. We spent time at the pool and the beach - never struggled for sun beds at the beach.
Nikkos was absolutely fantastic looking after everyone and always had time for all of his guests and is a real asset to 800. It was a shame this area wasn’t exclusive to those who had paid the premium to be in the 800 block, Nikkos couldn’t manage everything on his own. Also, other guests had been upgraded for complaining yet didn’t pay the premium price.
The food in this hotel was amazing and makes this hotel. It is probably the best for choice we have ever had at an all inclusive hotel, so much variety and so many restaurants to choose from. We would like to say thank you (from table 26) to the lovely Emmanuela and her team, for her exceptional friendly customer service and care. All of the staff who served us were very attentive and extremely friendly.
The room was fair and could do with a refresh. Rooms are very basic and not luxurious in any way for what is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. Likewise, some other areas of the hotel could do with updating and general maintenance.
For the price paid, I was disappointed that my 16 year old had a sofa bed for 2 weeks, when there was easily room for a single bed in the room. Also, there is no air conditioning in the main bedroom, so it could get stuffy. Housekeeping let the hotel down as cleaning was not to a high standard - our balcony was not cleaned once whilst we were there and neither were the cups we used. Several times we were left without any towels or not enough towels and had to wait to have some brought up to the room, and it usually took several phone calls to reception to get this resolved.
The spa team were lovely and friendly offering good treatments but expensive for an outdoor spa - it would be much better if it had a dedicated indoor spa area to make it more relaxing, luxurious and to escape the heat and the noise.
Entertainment was standard for this type of hotel but there is not enough seats if you don’t rush - nobody wants to rush on holiday.
Overall, this is a good 4 star hotel and would recommend.

We are just heading home from our first stay at Eden Roc and the last week has been everything we needed and more - relaxing, with great food and service.
We stayed in a garden sea view room on the first floor of the main hotel and the view was fantastic. It was close to all main facilities and was quiet on an evening. The room was basic but very clean and fresh bottled water was provided daily.
Two of the pools are saltwater which our little one was a bit unsure of at first but quickly got used to. The pools are great and never felt too crowded - we particularly enjoyed the slide pool. Being by the beach was excellent and we made use of the loungers by the sea. The water is lovely and shallow up to a point, so great for a dip to cool off and once it gets deeper it’s brill for snorkeling.
The food was outstanding - we tried 4 of the a la carte restaurants, with Miraflores being our highlight. We also enjoyed the Grill for lunch and Thalassos. There is never a shortage of food on offer, and it is all of a really good quality. The drinks were ok in the main, but the quality of cocktails seemed to depend on which bar member made them, with the exception of the wine & champagne bar which was consistently excellent. The service in all of the restaurants and bars was outstanding - we have a picky eater who likes things plain and no request was too much. Particular shout out to the two ladies in the Cone restaurant at breakfast and lunch time who were absolutely lovely and very attentive - the staff really made our stay, thank you again.
We headed into Rhodes town one day, booking a taxi at reception which was super easy and affordable. A round trip cost about €30 and was worth it - particularly for the Old Town which was beautiful. There’s not a lot around the hotel itself but we didn’t mind this due to all of the different areas to explore in the resort and different food options.
Cons: The only negative experience we had was when we first arrived - our room wasn’t ready as we were slightly before the 3pm check in time, which was understandable. However it took until around 4:30 for us to get our room keys and be able to change out of our travel clothes, with no apology from the reception staff. It would be great if there was a room for people to get changed in if their room isn’t available on arrival.
We also had little interaction with the animation team who didn’t seem to be promoting the activities that were on or coming round to try and get people involved. The only activity we were aware of was the bubble party.
All in all however, we would absolutely recommend Eden Roc to anyone looking for good food, fantastic service and a relaxing time.

Just back from a weeks stay at this lovely hotel and we had a great time. Stunning hotel with a lovely private beach and pool areas. Rooms are absolutely spotless and maids are in every day to clean it and give fresh towels/bedding (if you wish) Mini fridge is stocked for your arrival with some soft drinks/beers and bottles of water there for you also. We had a view of the pool area and sea with a decent sized balcony, the room is very spacious too.
Brilliant entertainment every night, it’s a very chilled relaxed place as the entertainment finished around 10:30/11pm every night. It would be good if they kept some music playing after the entertainment finished in the main bar area just while everyone is still sitting having some drinks though.
The bar has a very big range of drinks and cocktails with all branded spirits which was good. Lots of lovely cocktails to choose from too.
The food is absolutely delicious and everything is so fresh, from the fruit and veg to the meals we had no complaints at all. Lots of different options at the buffet to choose from breakfast to dinner. The lunches at the beach buffet were our favourite with the freshly made pizza. The Al a cart restaurants are brilliant and we made sure to try them all during our stay, it is quite difficult to get a decent booking as the spaces seem to fill up fast, we had to book them for the week the night we arrived and I’m glad I did as I don’t think we’d of got in any of them if I hadn’t.
The only down fall to this place would be the lack of staff. We went the first week of the season so maybe that’s why there was so little but we had to do a lot of waiting about. Whether it was at the bar for drinks, to get a table at the buffet restaurant or for service at the restaurants for dinner. We waited over 50 minutes for our starters in the Greek restaurant after having to ask for menus and drinks at the start also. The staff that were there were all so friendly and you can tell work very hard but they definitely need extra bodies helping them out. The chefs at the tepenyaki restaurant were brilliant and made it a very good experience while having a lovely meal.
Over all we were very happy with the price and would definitely visit again :)

We came to ER in August, we stayed in the pool bungalows, which were spacy enough for us as a family with two teens, they had two single beds each in the living room. Towels were changed daily and beds made with bins emptied and bottle of water left each day. Hotel was right on the beach and plenty of sunbeds even after 9am. All pool areas were good, but salt water which didn't agree with the son so we spent most of our time at the beach. The children loved the inflatable crazy sofa which cost us a small fortune but was worth it. Food was amazing, there wasn't a restaurant that we didn't like, the AL 'Carte was out of this world, the staff were attentive and go above and beyond. We fell in love with Nikos at the Pool 800 bar, he did the most amazing cocktails, and of course the lovely George at the champagne bar, he was the sweetest! Honestly cannot really fault it, We had so many things planned but didn't leave the resort, it was relaxing and treated ourselves to treatments to the outdoor spa area, the facial was amazing and I even fell to sleep!
Tips -
Take water shoes beach is pebbly Towel pegs Snorkels - This was the highlight for us all! Pina coladas on the beach were amazing If you want a sunbed right by the sea you need to be there at 8am At the Mediterranean restaurant you must try the 'lamb by the sea' mosquito spray is a must Just book!
