I'm still in this Pension. I'll start with the negatives. The room is old and the taps are rusty. The staff at the reception very cold, the Impression of disturbing them. Animation team on top. The food is good is varied. Very large pool but at 10h more deckchair. People book them at night or in the early morning by putting a towel on them. The beach is full of seaweed by the water which is not transparent unlike other beaches in Djerba.

Hello I share with you my experience in August 2024 at the 4 star Inn djerba Castille.
The welcome was not top some staff are not welcoming smile or nothing, in short the clean room the food 0 always the same thing grill pizzas dough salad of any kind drink and water at will but not enough
On arrival they give you a bottle of water in your room c all after there are water fountains you have to fill it psk tap water is not clean.
The pool clean, the beach lots of seaweed but there is a beach next door you can swim, it is super clean.
Deckchairs c a big problem you have to wake up early in the morning to have one more people book the day before their deckchair they leave their
Business avoid leaving a psk towel the Pension collects towels and dishes in a place on the floor with other towels.
Kepler that blah our flight was happily moving the Inn warned us the day before Check-out.

Nice all-inclusive, on a human scale, far from the mammoth hotel that all-in hotels are in general.
Room: on the reception floor. Large, shower room suitable for people with reduced mobility (as requested), cleanliness, linen changed every day, bed made up, room cleaned every day. Once the curtains are drawn: pitch black, windows closed: no sound. Impeccable air conditioning. This is the first time in years that I have slept without an alarm, from evening to morning. Only one regret: no terrace in the room. But after all, we are there to participate in the life of the hotel in the common areas.
Reception: sympathy, laughter, always willing to help. Very professional.
Activities and shops are at least 1.
Bar: professionals, serious, always attentive.
Terraces: several sunny terraces and some more in the shade.
Downside: umbrellas would be good on the large terrace at the bottom of the bar steps. But it's just a detail.
Swimming pool: gigantic, a real joy because we are not on top of each other, suitable temperature, we are not afraid of diving in or being frozen. A big plus! This swimming pool has done me as much good as 10 months of physiotherapy.
Barbecue bar between swimming pool and beach: large number of tables, attentive staff, friendly but professional.
Beach: superb beach. Clean, little or no algae. The beaches going from the Lagoon to the small port of Aghir are the most beautiful in Djerba and this is one of them. Here again, it feels like Polynesian waters...
Restaurant: as far as I'm concerned, I found dishes that suited me every day. Unlike some all-in hotels, there is not a buffet of 100 different dishes, which means that the food tastes good and you enjoy what you have on your plate. I fell for the Tunisian couscous which I love but there is a choice and everything is good. Staff who take great care of their row of customers and are always on the lookout for your needs.
I recommend this hotel where I found nothing to complain about - although I am very picky. And I regret that my stay was limited, because I would have liked to have stayed a few more weeks.

we arrived at night (4 hours) the hotel was dark and we had to find our room by the light of the telephone. The general switch is controlled by a key, very difficult to turn
The quality of animation is not measured in decibels! Noise at the swimming pool from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. rest impossible
The canteen is far from a 4 star if you arrive after 8:30 p.m. the dishes are empty. Alcohol flows freely but to have fresh, drinkable water you have to pay
Outdated outdoor furniture especially at the beach
In short, a hotel that operates at the minimum
Swimming pool - room and staff ok

I was extremely disappointed with my stay in this 4-star hotel, but it does not offer the basic services expected for this category. During my stay, I encountered several problems:
1. Personal hygiene products were only supplied on the first day and, despite staying seven days, I was informed that there would be no replacement. I had to buy them on my own.
2. Internet access was a big problem. There was no internet in the rooms and the connection in the common areas was very weak. I had to buy an internet card, which generated an additional cost.
3. There was no personal safe in the rooms, only at the reception with an additional cost to use it.

In addition to this and other details, when I tried to formalize a complaint at the hotel, I was informed that there was no complaint book available, which left me even more frustrated.

On the other hand, I want to highlight the excellent work of the rooms cleaners, who were always very professional and attentive.

My stay ended up having an extra cost of about 50€ due to the mentioned problems. I do not recommend this hotel until these issues are resolved.

The welcome was terrible, due to the flight delay we arrived at 10pm and they placed us in the restaurant room showing us identical plates covered in film which contained vegetables, cheese and a kind of mortadella (very good!) abandoned, in twilight, without knowing what we could drink and where to help ourselves. For the room, we were shown the direction and luckily one of the guys who had just finished his shift offered to accompany us, otherwise who knows how long we would have wandered. The hotel itself is not bad, the rooms are large with a room with toilet (no bidet) and a room with sink and bathtub, a little uncomfortable I would say because it is quite high, our room with balcony was located on the first floor and did not have a nice view, only an olive grove, however quite soundproofed and with an excellent mattress, larger than standard TV which following a specific request (promptly satisfied) was tuned to the Italian channels: the first 3 of the most rai news 24. The buffet is varied and you never go without an empty stomach, I didn't find the cuisine particularly spicy or full of garlic, the big limitation is that you often don't know what's on the tray because the instructions, when present, don't allow you to identify the ingredients. However, for lunch outside you can eat a "kind of pizza" (pizza is something else!) but together with the pizza you are devoured by flies so the internal restaurant is better. The swimming pool is always overly busy and the beach is left to deteriorate with broken-down sunbeds, the number of which is decidedly small compared to the size of the structure, and the sea can only be reached after passing 2-3 m of algae carpet, so the sea is absolutely a no go. Nobody cleaned all week. Finally, let's talk about the towels that they collect in the morning and return in the afternoon, so when you return from the morning under the sun, you can't wash because they have collected the dirty ones and they haven't brought the clean ones yet, absurd! I don't recommend it and I definitely won't go back. The staff is friendly, always smiling and ready to try to understand and satisfy you, we will always have in our hearts the waiter Walid and the barista Walid who makes an excellent espresso coffee. In my opinion, it is the organization that needs to be revised.

I recently stayed five nights at the Hotel Djerba Castille and unfortunately my stay was extremely disappointing. I cannot recommend this property due to several issues encountered during my stay.
First of all, the rooms were in poor condition. Cleanliness left something to be desired, with stained sheets and worn towels. Additionally, the air conditioning did not work properly, making nights stuffy and uncomfortable.
As for the facilities, they seemed poorly maintained. The pool was dirty and uninviting, which prevented me from fully enjoying it during my stay. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was unstable and difficult to access in my room.
Finally, the hotel restaurant offered poor quality food. The options were limited and the flavor of the dishes left something to be desired. I was very disappointed with the quality of the food offered, which had a negative impact on my overall experience.

9 days of happiness in Djerba Castile, for our 5th year in all inclusive in Djerba but 1st in this Pension. Let's start with the welcome: When we arrived, disappointed to have a room without balcony, less than half an hour later it was settled with a smile, thank you. The rooms are clean and linen changed every day with a nice presentation by brave and very pleasant employees. All inclusive access to a wide variety of drinks at no extra charge (white and red vermouth, anise, cocktails, beer ..) You have to be complicated not to find your happiness! Same for buffet meals, whatever the time, even half an hour before closing, the dishes are filled again. The buffets are all very good with notes of spices and the Tunisian touch (if desired) even for classics such as pasta, it is very easy to vary the menus keeping identical bases of meat or vegetables. The restaurant's waiters are filled with energy of kindness and small personalized touches from morning to night. The setting is very nice from the pool to the beach and the gardeners are also hypersmiling. The excursions offered by Tarek live up to expectations Value for Money if you play the game knowing that everyone has to live and take their percentage, which explains a slightly more expensive rate than outside the Inn.
At the risk of displeasing some "disgruntled moans" I will conclude by saying that if we tourists are smiling, respectful, polite and pleasant towards each of the people employed in the Pension we receive exactly the same feedback and can only have a great stay!

Currently in this Pension I am very disappointed , the rooms are old , the food identical every day even if it is varied. Desserts are dried cakes with some fruit!! The deckchairs are always occupied by towels while there is no one on them. The reception staff is not very friendly, the Impression of disturbing them. Pros the animation team, fortunately they are there to animate because Pension to escape , plus the Pension is very far from everything , always take a taxi .
I would not recommend this Pension!!!!

I have been in Djerba Castille for almost 8 days and deplore the mediocre services of this establishment
The catering is truly catastrophic and a limited choice is inflicted on us, it's a shame to see this!!!
There is just one server who deserves attention for his professionalism, it is Aymen, always respectful and only one at the bar who is also deserving and whose name is also Aymen.
Breakfasts are offered with stale pastries and concrete baguettes
Nothing is acceptable in this restaurant, the managers are also unfriendly, and absolutely do not take into account the comments, the manager avoids his responsibilities, and when you ask to meet him there is supposedly none in this hotel! !!
It is not acceptable to offer a 4-star hotel that does not even deserve 2, given the services offered.
It would be important for Kepler to worry about better serving its customers, moreover the representative on site is not doing his job properly
In terms of entertainment, none have been offered for a week despite the friendly team!!!
The rooms date from the old era, the bedding is disastrous, and the cleaning leaves something to be desired
The pool and beach furniture is in a pitiful state, rusty slide, black parasol with mold, dump on the beach, no maintenance
So 1 week of vacation wasted and yet the price is not discounted
Thanks to promosejour for removing this pitiful hotel from their list
