We had a remarkably beautiful bungalow right on the beach. You could not ask for a better view, with a nice deck and pleasant room. The view and snorkeling right outside our room make the stay a big success. The two pools are also very nice. But our room air conditioner broke two nights in a row and never worked correctly the other nights, which is a problem when it is so hot you need air all night. And there was not ceiling or room fan to use as an alternative. The food was only so so, and it was annoying that we learned on our last day you could get an omelet on request as partof your free breakfast, when there is no sign of it at the buffet and the staff never mentioned it. There were lots of flies landing on the buffet food and the food offerings were poor, like cold and way undercooked bacon. Still, because of the location, it was a good stay. Sadly, they could make it a lot better by telling people there is the option of an omelet, better food in the buffet, and having fans in the rooms.

The room was okay, the air conditioner needs work and took a long time to cool down the room. The lights are a little confusing and the plugs didn’t work very well with an adapter for some reason. The safe in our room was also not working properly. The infinity pool is to die for, the drinks are wonderful, and the menu food is delicious, although breakfast was a little meh. There was quite a language barrier at reception which created a minor issue at check-in, but otherwise the staff were great. Would I stay here again? Yes.

A beautiful hotel with magnificent views, lovely pool and spotless rooms. Beds are comfortable and sheets new and fresh. This is a high end 4 star hotel and is a bargain. Staff go above and beyond just be patient as their English can be limited. The beach is lovely to look at but a bit rough to swim in with a bit of rubbish floating around ( a familiar story for Thailand). The restaurant is quite nice but a bit limited, the big downfall is the bar menu which looks like it was written in 1985 ( very old school cocktails) . They could do with someone revamping their drink list to include some up to date martinis etc - even the mocktails were lame : forget the Virgin mojitos it’s coke and ice cream! It can get a big boring as there’s not much around but overall great value and you can’t beat the view! There’s no supermarket around which is annoying but if you exit the hotel and turn left and walk for 8 minutes there is a small milk bar type of shop. Also there are a couple of extra restaurants but they close at 7.00pm

We had a great 2 weeks stay at the Coral Cliff Beach Resort. The hotel is clean and the rooms done daily. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough to make your stay better. If there is a down side, it's the location, saying that if you wish to go to Lamai or Chewang there are plenty songthaew that pass regularly.

Сhecked into the hotel on 02/23/2023 in the evening. The air conditioning in the room did not work, the sink in the bathroom was clogged. Due to the non-working air conditioner, the night was sleepless. The hotel manager just shrugged off my claims. The next day they moved me to a similar room without providing any compensation and communicating through their employees at the reception, explaining this by the fact that the hotel is full and this is not their problems.

This hotel seemed to have it all and it almost did. Villa was beautiful with a lovely sea view and the sound of the waves rolling onto the beach. Breakfast was nice if not a little basic, but covered all needs. Staff were very helpful. Weather which is not a fault of the hotel was extremely rainy which meant little use of the pools or beach. Luckily we had a car so we were able to get around as there was nothing nearby. The other option was scooter or shared taxi. The house service could have been better as we needed to ask for towels twice and the room could have done with a deep clean. After all said the site was beautiful as was the overall look of the resort.

We enjoyed our 12 days at this hotel. The view and the rooms are perfectly like on the pictures. There are small (private) beaches around the resort with "okey" coral riffs. The breakfast was good, but every day the same. From fresh fruits and omelet's to thai-food and bread with jam, everything is on the buffet. Every saturday and tuesday, there is a BBQ with very fresh seafood witch was delicious. If you will stay at this hotel, you will need a taxi or scooter to get to shops or excourse the island because there isn't much next to the hotel. The employers are very friendly and helpful but they can`t speak english very well.

This resort is built on the cliff between Chaweng Beach and Lamai Beach and the sea view from the bungalow is just spectacular. The newly and stylish renovated Resort has next to a nice tropical landscape also a impressive infinity swimming pool overlooking the ocean and Chaweng Beach. The little private beach is ideal for a nice swim in the ocean or a snorkelling around the granite rocks. It a great place to relax and enjoy the nature at its best and still it is not to far from either Chaweng Beach or Lamai Beach. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony and a strong WiFi. The dinner at the restaurant here was one of the best I had during my time on Samui, really fresh seafood and authentic Thai cuisine. And last but not least, the staff here if very attentive, very friendly and helpful to the last detail. I have travelled a lot in Thailand and elsewhere, but this is among the very best level of service. We had a great stay and will certainly come back when we visit Samui again.

We booked The Jacuzzi Suite because the tub and beautiful view but big mistake. 1st night we hardly slept because LOUD cars & scooters passing by often on the street right next to the building. The bathroom window and door has many gaps that could not be closed, so loud road noises and mosquitoes just keep coming into the room, a very bad design in an outdated building and dirty tub. We requested and moved to a Bungalow asap the next morning. The difference between the two rooms were night and day! Yes, got only half of the space but much newer, much quieter with nice view too. We enjoyed our snorkeling just a few steps to the private beach, saw some big colorful fishes. Breakfast buffet were basic and the same food everyday. The staffs at the breakfast were below average, too busy chitchat, and the chief took a long time just to make a few pancakes when there’s no other customer but us at the time. There’s no outside restaurant or massage within walking distance. No free Tuk Tuk from the hotel. So you will have to rent a car/scooter, or paying the high price of taxi for anything outside the hotel.

On the scale from 1 to 5: Location 4 - beautiful peaceful place, but need a taxi to get to the neatest village for food, massages etc. We walked a few times(around 4 km along the road) doable but not every day. Hotel grounds 4.5 - nice garderns, pools, very private, not many people around, quiet by the pool, lovely beach. Restaurant 4 - decent breakfast, breakfast staff was quite good, dinner average, dinner staff so-so Room 2 - we had delux with seaview room, I would not recommend this room type. Right on the road, very noisy, nasty smell, dirty windows. If you decide to stay in this hotel choose beachfront villa, otherwise get a standard room, delux seaview is not worth it. Hotel management 0 - non existent, we asked to speak to the manager about moving rooms, were offered an extremely expensive upgrade by reception staff. The manager never appeared, he/she is basically is hiding from guests. All our complains about the dirty windows and foul smell remained unanswered. On the last day of our stay electricity was off for around 15 hours. We received a letter from the "management" with the offer to spend 1200 bat on hotel F&B, but the reception staff refused to honour their own offer. Again coincidentally the manager was not around... Conclusion: lovely spot, lovely grounds, extremely poor management. We will most likely not stay there again. We go to Thailand every year and there many other lovely places where we feel much more welcome than we did at Coral Cliff.
