Stayed at the Sallamai resort in Koh Samui for two nights as part of a 2 week trip to Thailand with a friend. Sallamai resort is a very small, cute and friendly hotel ran by a French couple who went out of their way to ensure we were settled and happy for our stay. The rooms are nice and private... More

Thank you for your lovely review the Sallamai team appreciates. You are right to point out that we are located at 400m from the main road (not really at 15 min walk but 5 min ;-)) and that to get around in Samui to discover the hidden treasures of the island renting a scooter or a car is compulsory. We... More

Went with my girlfriend. We don't have high standards, just looking for a decent stay. Usually i go to hotels with high rating only, But i really don't understand why this one got so many good reviews. The only good thing was the nice welcoming and a helping hand. Cons: 1. Got no blanket in my room. Found out only... More

Dear Sheldoz you booked and stayed 1 night as you planned it, no need to run. True that blankets are available at reception on request, but if you had carefully checked before booking (or simply asked for it) you should have noticed that reception is open from 8AM until 8PM... No surprise. As far as your other comments are concerned,... More

A small, friendly, comfortable, family run hotel set in a quiet location. The owners do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They'll arrange excursions and transport. Good breakfasts and a nice pool to chill in.

Couldn't ask for a better stay. All staff very pleasant. Very keen to help and advise about the island. Breakfast good. Location was ok for what I wanted. Will need to hire a moped to get round the island but the hosts will do it all for you. Rooms clean and nice.
