Our room was like brand new, reception staff were delightful and very helpful. Little pool and bar area charming. Good quiet location 5 min walk to coast. 10 min Walk along boardwalk to "Real Playa" restaurant (separate review) . I would return in a heartbeat.
What can I say? Absolutely superb hotel for a quiet relaxing holiday in a stunning location. Our room was clean, recently refurbished and stunning for the money. The staff were nothing short of brilliant. I have never felt so relaxed on holiday before. The location is quiet but near a lovely beach and with just enough good quality bars and restaurants around. I loved loved loved it!
Stayed at the Hostal Es Pi in early September, and most reviews on this site have it right – it’s a decent, basic hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. The place is relatively small, with maybe 15 or so rooms. Breakfast was good. Not surprisingly, it’s the traditional continental, with added fresh fruit and excellent coffee. The room was small, but well laid out, and a fridge was a useful addition. As someone else has mentioned, the air con was effective, but very noisy. The Es Pi isn’t surrounded by things to do: there’s a supermarket down the road, a couple of beach bar/restaurants within a few hundred yards, a car/bike/scooter rental place next door, and that’s it. If you stay here, you really need transport. It’s worth correcting a couple of errors in previous posts. The bus stopping outside is the L2, not the L1. If travelling to La Savina, you’re expected to get on the bus at the bus stop, head in the other direction a couple of hundred yards to the Insotel there, and come back in the other direction. Confusing! Also, a previous poster has described the beach as naturist. It wasn’t in September 17. I do have one complaint. Before travelling I received a message from Booking.com saying my card details hadn’t been recognised and telling me to contact the hotel. I did so, and got told “contact Booking.com.”. I tried again: “could you just confirm my reservation…” Response: “contact Booking.com”. FFS! What kind of outfit treats its customers like that? The response came from the reception at the Insotel just up the road, and from a lady called Zoe G, who seriously needs a word. I should say that the receptionist at the hostal was excellent – professional, friendly and helpful.…
The hotel is located on the south part of the island, near migjorn beach, in Ca Mari. All the staff was very very nice, specially Neus who explained us lots of places to go and restaurants to eat. The rooms are really beautiful, spacious and with new forniture. The bed was very confortable but disappointing it was two single beds together, not a double bed. The breakfast was good.
Location is good; only 5 minutes to beach and the area is peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was included and a great selection of options. Rooms are simple, clean and reasonable priced. Loved the area; beautiful beach and some nice restaurants and bars along the shore. Easy to get here from the port: the bus stop is directly opposite.
