Travelled in August, family of four. Bus had to drop us at the end of the road, had to walk to the hotel, not too bad but on leaving we had to walk at 2AM. Major disappointment on being shown our room, down a below ground corridor to a small musty apartment. The fully equipped kitchenette comprised of a small...

Having booked this very last minute, we did wonder what we had let ourselves in for when the coach dropped us off at the end of a dodgy looking road at night. After a short walk passed some run down houses and couple of gangs of friendly cats we were greeted at the hotel by Vikki who is more than...

The Hotel was set in a nice quiet area of Rethymnon right near the beach and close to shops and restaurants on the main beach road to the main strip which is about a 25 min walk. We had to walk down a side street to get to the hotel as with parked cars the coach could not go down...

Very good, clean, basic room. This is not the place to go if you want panoramic sea views but it is VERY close to a stunning beach. Vicky (expat Brit) on the desk is a fount of useful info and there are eateries nearby (I recommend the Taverna Crete, out of the front door, turn right, turn right along the...

Booked through Thomson for 2 weeks in a 1 bedroom apt (worth the extra after seeing photos of studio especially for a 2 week stay) for the 1st 2 weeks of September. Good sized kitchen with a full cooker and fridge freezer. There was a microwave but no suitable pot/utensils to cook with. There is no electric kettle but there...

Our family with 2 child stayed there for 5 days. The apartment was pretty good, but too be honest it's old. The beach was close, but not the best one for small children - many rocks in the water. The price was good. In my opinion it's better too find the place to stay on the promenade closer to the...

This is a very nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. However it is not within a comfortable walk from Rethymnon port/old town if you want to eat there in the evenings but there are plenty of tavernas close by. The rooms are a little tired but the housekeeping is good. The bathroom has the usual problem of an...

Just spent 2 weeks at this hotel - perfect from start to finish. The rooms are spacious, very clean and we even had a side sea view from our balcony. All the staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful, special thanks to Vicky and Ravi on the reception desk, Sophia and colleagues at breakfast, the cleaners and not forgetting Marios...

These self catering apartments are the best we have stayed in over many years of visiting Greece. The staff (reception, bar, cleaners) were friendly and helpful from check-in through until the time we left. With our 2 teenage boys, we had a 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment was well equipped for Greece: full size cooker (not just a 2 ring...
