Nice hotel, very clean but a dated although the furniture was in mint condition. The rooms were fairly dark probably as the furnishings were dark. Small unheated pool with limited sunloungers. Hotel was around 6 minute walk to the bars and restaurants. The beach was opposite the hotel but not very nice. We stayed for a few nights which was plenty of time to check out the Island.

We stayed here at the beginning of September, just as storm Daniel decided to rear its ugly head. We both found the hotel to be spotlessly clean and the staff friendly. Plenty of choice at breakfast time although the toaster was a bit of an enigma. The room was big enough and the bed’s really comfy. During the storm there was power cuts but the hotel must have an emergency generator. All in all a really nice hotel which we would go back to and would recommend.

We stayed at the Aeolos Hotel for a week just after Storm Daniel, and luckily the island didn't appear to have suffered in the same devastating way as Skiathos. We'd booked a sea view room, which was pleasant and had a lovely balcony/sitting out area overlooking the lawn towards the sea. However, the room was desperately "tired" and I was so disappointed not to find a kettle so that I could make a cup of tea or coffee. I don't think I can remember staying anywhere, regardless of the star rating, where a kettle hasn't been available. The bed was comfortable, but we did have to ask for extra pillows as the one pillow on the bed was too flat to sleep on. The lawn below our room had a pond with fountain, so it would have been nice if it had been filled with water and in operation. Perhaps it was because we were coming to the end of the season? Breakfast was served in a pleasant room which in the centre should have had a pond. However, this was completely empty during our stay and contained nothing other than an empty bucket which didn't look very attractive. The food at breakfast was adequate, but some of the items were over-cooked and, apart from the one day when fried eggs were available, the eggs (omelettes and scramble) were unappealing. Another mystery was the lack of a toaster. All that was on offer was a sandwich maker, that by the time you had placed a slice of bread inside, had flattened it so much it was inedible and impossible to cut. I must say that the staff who served breakfast were lovely and friendly, it was just a pity that the food offerings were below standard. This whole review sounds like a huge moan and I really don't mean to dissuade guests from staying here, it's just that there were so many little niggles that had to be noted. I must add that Skopelos is a wonderful island and we thoroughly enjoyed our week here.

Hello from Aeolos Hotel! Thank you for your recent stay in our hotel! We are very content that you enjoyed your stay and our hospitallity! Our staff is always more than willing to serve you in what ever you need. We provide to our guests after request anything exta they need as pillows or kettle. Our breakfast is awarded with the <> and of course is an issue of perssonal taste. Further there was a very bad storm all over the Greece and our first priority was the safety of our guests and our hotel the fountains was not a priority. Thank you for your review and your suggestions! It was our pleasure to host you!

Fantastic location, opposite the beach and a short stroll into town. A very clean and quiet hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Food was simple and lovely. Pool area and gardens were well looked after and clean. Perfect place to stay and relax!

The 30 minutes ferry journey from Alonissos to Skopelos deposited us at the port in Skopelos Town and the hotel is around 10 minutes walk from there around the bay on the outskirts of the town. This is a largish hotel, much used by package companies but there were few people there during our 4 night stay. We had arrived before normal check-in time but there was no issue about accessing our room early. The staff are really nice and the room was a decent size. However, the hotel looked like it could do with some modernisation overall. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and there is a decent pool with a small bar close by. We were very pleased with the lovely views back to the town and of the sea from our room. The small balcony was pleasant too, giving views over the hotel grounds in the foreground. No buses run past the hotel but there is a decent service from the bus station less than 10 minutes away. Some people had obviously hired cars and there is a good sized car park on site at the hotel. Overall, we were well pleased with this choice of hotel.

Beautifully maintained hotel. Extremely clean and well positioned for a short walk to restaurants along the waterfront. About 15 mins to main town. Excellent breakfast, which stays open until 11am. Apparently sea view rooms can be requested but we stayed in the courtyard which was actually really peaceful and cooler/more shaded than the sea view rooms. Large selection of books to borrow, also some games. Pool bar is open until 8pm, and serves inexpensive snacks. The staff are all friendly and the reception staff are really helpful. They phoned the night before we left to ask if we wanted a wake-up call or coffee as we were leaving at 6.25. If using a holiday company, be prepared for a lot of waiting around travelling to/from the island. I'd love to visit again but would travel independently to avoid all the waiting for the boat/bus etc.

This hotel is excellent. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean and rooms are comfortable with good air conditioning, comfortable beds and a good fridge. Rooms cleaned every day, with clean towels every day. Good breakfast included. Good location as within easy walk of town but still quiet and relaxing.

We found the Aeolos to be ideal for our needs, located in a quieter part of the town. The room and terrace were excellent and very well maintained throughout our stay. The only improvement would have been a larger shower cubicle, it was a bit snug to say the least. The hotel is a 10 minute walk along the seafront into town and ideally located for peace and quiet while being a short walk from all the action. The breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choices, and of a good standard. All of the staff were courteous, professional and polite. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend this hotel highly.

Lovely hotel in perfect location. We had garden view apartment which was quiet, as previously mentioned it did overlook other apartments so had to be mindful of this. There was ample storage, large rooms but pity shower didnt have a hook as we found it difficult to wash hair etc. Pool big enough, but could do with more sunbeds as got busy, the deck chairs bit dodgy. Staff pleasant especially at breakfast and pool bar. Downside was the indoor bar was never open, it would have been nice to have a chat with other holidaymakers if never used why was it cleaned daily?? Overall we had great stay and I felt very safe walking around Skopelos on my own.

Beautiful relaxing hotel. Great location a 10-15 min walk to Skopelos town and several great bars and restaurants close by. All Staff very friendly and efficient. But... Check which room you are getting as although the Seaview Rooms are fantastic with amazing views of the old town there are also Garden Rooms. These rooms overlook a dark courtyard with plastic grass and lots of balconies overlooking each other. You can hear everything and see straight into the other rooms. We booked with Jet2 and no differentiation was made between the room types with simply 'Twin Room' available for selection. No mention was made of the Garden Rooms and from the photos we mistakenly assumed they were all Sea View. Our Garden Room also had a broken shower and sharp chrome peeling off the shower basket. As no Sea View rooms were available and this was a special celebration holiday we upgraded to a sea view suite which although expensive was fantastic and well worth it!
