Everything about Gate Lodge is extremely comfortable, personal and meets your needs. Excellent value and choice of Breakfast and will provide an evening meal on request. I can only speak highly of an excellent host and accommodation while I have stayed at The Gate Lodge from September to December 2013.Home from Home Homely and Welcoming. Thank you.

Highly recommended if you want to stay somewhere within easy walking distance of Capital Park. It's clean and comfortable, the landlady very friendly and accommodating, and there's even tea and cake on offer most afternoons! Cambridge town centre is just a short bus ride away and there are several decent eateries in the local area.

We had a very pleasant stay at The Gate Lodge at the beginning of September and I can highly recommend staying there. You will find pretty rooms, very clean and above all a warm welcome. The breakfast, especially the fresh fruit salad, was delicious. Thank you again.

Superb B & B, friendly, but not overpowering owner, Susan is very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and quality furnishings in the bedroom and guest lounge complimented the grand exterior. Very quiet through the night with no road noise. Powerful shower in the en-suite and an excellent breakfast.

Lovely stay at the gate house, Susan was very hospitable and went out of her way to make our trip special. Felt like staying with a friend rather than at a b&b. Lovely sitting room and courtyard for guest use as well as good dining room facilities. Room very comfortable, en-suite a bit of a squeeze but bathrobes and towels...

Susan, the landlady, made us all very welcome. We had two of the double rooms, one having a king size bed and one single room. One of the rooms was en suite and the other two had the bathrooms across the landing. Bathrobes were provided. The accommodation is very nice, clean and comfortable, and the beds were very comfy. The...

We were looking for a B & B that was relaxing, friendly and good food and it turned out to be just what we were looking for. The bedroom was nice with a king size bed and the bathroom was just along the corridor with bathrobes provided. There was a pretty little courtyard outside but as the weather wasn't good...

I stayed here before an interview at the Ida Darwin Site (approx 5mins walk) Great welcome with homemade cake and a cup of tea and good breakfast the next morning. My room had a private bathroom (not ensuite). The room and bathroom were very clean and towels were plentiful and clean. I would recommend this B and B to anyone....

I stayed overnight in this nice and cosy B&B before my job interview at Fulbourn Hospital. The hospitality of the owner is unsurpassed and I was so impressed with the room and food provided. I had a great tea on my arrival at 10 pm and was impressed with a nice breakfast. I am glad that I stayed there and...
