The Lodge is perfectly situated, efficiently managed with lots of little touches: an honour bar, cake and treats, delicious coffee and breakfast. My favourite is the bountiful garden and luscious pool. Thanks Nicolaas

The Old Village Lodge is a haven of tranquility and comfort. Beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated. Our room opened onto the garden which was lovely and we had our own sitting room. The bed linen and towels were lovely and the a very high standard of cleanliness maintained. Nicolaas is the perfect host and very knowledgable about the local area. His breakfasts were memorable and a great start to the day. After a hard day wine tasting it was wonderful to retire to the garden for a swim and sit in the shade and read a book. There are a few local restaurants and a good pub all in walking distance. Nicolaas will advise on these. All in all a wonderful stay and we hope to return.
