Gourits River Guest Farm lies in the heart of the Garden Route, overlooking the majestic Gourits River, the valley and Langeberg Mountains. We always strive to make every guest feel at home while experiencing the tranquility and peacefulness of the Farm. From staying in the guest house to camping next to the Gourits river - sunsets, birds chirping, the harvesting and blossoming of the aloe ferox and the echoing of the Fish Eagle make this an unforgettable and unique stay. Whether guests want to relax in nature or do various activities, we offer it all. Activities such as canoeing, mountain biking (own bikes), 4x4 and quad biking (own bikes), fishing, swimming, bird watching, hiking, and sightseeing can all be done on the farm. Come and enjoy your stay and don't forget to have a taste of what we call our 'delicatessens' - the fresh farm meat, fynbos honey, the local springer fish and the malva pudding.

Tourist is a working farm next to a game reserve and because of its unique isolated location (still within 10 min from a village) great for relaxing and enjoying the stars at night. You can even see the milky way!

We had a great time at Kuus Farm and really enjoyed being off the regular tourist travel highway. We stayed at the Guest House that offers a lot of space and a nice pool to relax. Kuus and his wife are great hosts. It was a great pleasure taking to them and learn about life and challenges on their farm and South Africa in general. Lovely Victoria prepared very good dinners and was so nice with our to little girls! Especially the awesome lamb chops in combination with a great selection of freshly prepared salads will be long remembered by us. We also really enjoyed the nightly view on the stars. We will definitiv highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to enjoy the beauty of the country side and is not afraid If from time to time ants show off to clean the remaining breadcrumps. We stayed 2 nights there in January 2023…

We really enjoyed our stay by the river. It was nice and quiet and we had the whole place to ourselves. One surprise was when the sheep came into the campsite - I had my dog with me (prior arrangement) and we had to restrain her a little bit as she is not used to sheep and lambs. It was sadly a bit windy and we had to cut our trip short, but I will DEFINITELY be back! The facilities are lovely and clean and the owners are awesome. It is a working farm, so just be aware that there will be some bleating and moo-ing during your stay!

Excellent mixture of Farm life and Nature. The kids enjoyed and assisted with the feeding activities of the baby sheep and goats as well as seeing how various farming activities are handled. The right environment for city kids to experience real life. Good spot for fishing (catch and release). Excellent Birding paradise. Fish Eagles, Great Cormorant, Grey Herons, Hammerkop, Sacred Ibis, Egyptian Geese, Steppe Buzzard, Giant Kingfisher, Halfcollared Kingfisher and a wide variety of other birds were observed. Very peaceful environment for relaxing. Spacious camping site, which allows for playing various games by all. Nice area to use your mountain bike. The owners are very friendly and ready to assist when a need arises. We will return.

Lovely grassy campsites in a quite area on a working farm. The farm is centrally located to many lovely beaches and small towns to visit. Kids enjoyed driving through a fenced game farm to get to the camp site. Friendly and helpful staff.

lovely quiet spot with beautiful view over the river. Host helped out with x-tra space when we needed a seperate spot for my son to write on line exams. great patio for outside meals and spending time together.

The location and surroundings were perfect for getaway that allowed us to disconnect. Being Easter, there were kids of all ages that played soccer, cricket and swam. The space was safe and ample to really unwind and enjoy. We'll definitely be back

It was such a nice stay, and we loved that we could take our doggies with, they had such a nice time roaming about. Just the ants that bothered them a bit. Only thing that will make it even better is if there was a proper braai spot and a power source
