We stayed at the Garden Route Game Lodge in February as part of a two week family holiday to the Western Cape of SA. We stayed for two nights with our daughter who is aged 4 years. We took part in 3 (of the offered 4) game drives and enjoyed them all. There were other families there and they wisely...

2 nights and 4 game drives. Saw everything and more, the rangers are very knowledgable and fun. All of the staff were helpful, happy and happy to help in any way. The day spa was an added bonus. Perfect for families, food was fantastic. We stayed in the Luxury family suites which were new. They had everything you need and...

Good for families with children - the children can participate in the gamedrive. At the Garden Route the best place for game viewing. It is a larger hotel, especially breakfast & dinner is very crowded. The rooms are very used but OK. Recommendable.

We stayed in one of the Sunset Ridge suites These suites are the latest addition to the lodge and were fantastic. The suite consisted of a sitting room with a sofa bed, TV and balcony, a large bedroom with balcony and views over the reserve and a bathroom with a large bath and a separate (rain)shower cubicle (no shower caps...

We stayed for 2 days and did 4 game drives. We saw Elephants (fed them too) Giraffes, Hippo, Rhino and best of all Female Cheetah with her three 11week old cubs. There are plenty of other animals too. The rooms are comfortable with everything you need and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Highly Recommended.

We experienced a relaxing and fascinating visit to the Garden Route Game Lodge last week. The staff were friendliness personified, our Lodge room was comfortable and the food at the Serengeti Restaurant tasty and beautifully presented. We each enjoyed a stress-releasing back massage at the Spa - and the route there took us past the elephants, zebra and buck, a...

We stayed for 2 nights in the new Sunset Ridge lodges which was amazing! Very luxurious and with our own view of the waterhole and the reserve. A zebra wandered past our window! We did 3 game rides and saw lots of animals close up. Our guide El-Mari is fairly new however her enthusiasm for the wildlife was infectious and...

We stayed for 2 days at the lodge in a waterhole view chalet which was very fun and rustic. Saw rhinos from the porch. It was a quiet place with opportunity to relax by the pool or on the veranda. The drives are at 0700 and 1700. As it's a game farm, the animals do roam freely (except for the...
