We were made very welcome, given a short presentation of the hotel and the application (Blue APP). Arriving at 8:30 a.m., we had lunch at 9 a.m. The hotel provided a room for us to change and enjoy the swimming pool. We got the room at 2 p.m., the room had everything we needed 2 wardrobes, the toilets separate from the bathroom. The room was large and spacious. Use 4 to 5 hours in the living room to fill the fridge.
The food was excellent, wide variety of fish, meat, vegan and gluten-free dishes. The food is much less fatty than usual. The servers were friendly. Special mention to KILANI our server and M.ALI one of the cooks who were GREAT.
On the entertainment side, the team was great: Mokhtar, Hamza and the others Blue Fit and Yoga. With the app, it was super easy to book our activities.
The beach was awesome and the beach bar too. Very little algae compared to other hotels, you can directly see the difference, the security guys were very present even at night.
Small negative point, during the meal the air conditioning had a little difficulty, but it was only during the meal. Look at the room, the air conditioning works very well. The maintenance staff maintained the hotel well, we could see that they took our comments into account.
Boulbaba, the owner of the tea and hookah room, was great throughout our stay, great welcome with unlimited and free tea, cheap hookah 9 Euro or 27 Dinar.
IN SHORT, we loved our hotel and our stay. We will return there, for sure!!!

Holiday rating: TUI BLUE Palm Beach Palace, Djerba, Tunisia
We would like to share our extremely positive experiences at the TUI BLUE Palm Beach Palace in Djerba. Already on our arrival we were warmly welcomed with a drink and a refreshing, damp cloth. While we were registering at reception, our suitcases were already taken to our room. This service impressed us immediately!
Our room was of the type "DUO Extra Garden" and corresponded exactly to the description. It was quiet and offered a beautiful view of the garden – a perfect place to relax.
The buffet restaurant was another highlight. The waiters were always polite and attentive. Our drinks were served to us for dinner, and used plates were unobtrusively and discreetly cleared without us feeling disturbed. The whole hotel complex was well maintained and in very good condition. Of particular note is the pleasant tranquility at the relaxation pool. But also at the active pool it was amazingly quiet and relaxing.
We used various activities, such as beach volleyball and an Arabic language course with Daly, one of the entertainers. Daly has enriched our stay with his positive nature and humor, and we hope to meet him again next year! Another highlight was the hookah rehearsal with Bolbaba – so good that we returned to the hookah bar almost every night. We spent a wonderful evening there every time.
A special culinary experience was the à la carte restaurant “Flamingo”. The food there was of the highest quality and we tasted excellent. In the evenings, there was also live music, belly dancers and varied shows, such as a Blue Moon party or an impressive fire show on the rooftop followed by fireworks.
Our conclusion: We will definitely come back next year! We hope to find not only the same hotel, but also to see the fantastic staff again. It is the staff who created this unique atmosphere and made our stay an unforgettable experience. A big thank you to the whole team!

This was a bit of an impulse last minute booking to somewhere I had never heard of before but it was a real pleasant surprise. Direct flights have only recently started from Manchester so it means it isn’t touristy. Guests are mainly French & German, however all the staff speak various languages and some were really happy to get to practice their English.
The weather was lovely for November and the hotel is a beautiful adults hotel right on the private beach.
Pros
STAFF. - Entertainment team - On our first night we realised we’d brought the wrong adapter plug. On mentioning to Rabie (aka Rico) from the entertainment team he immediately spoke to his manager and they’d ordered us 2 plugs that were brought to us the next day. During the day there’s no pressure to join anything as you can book online or just turn up at your leisure. In the evening Rico is on hand to chat to all the guests and dance with those who wish to, even with a sore ankle! He’d only been there 2 weeks when we arrived so not sure what they did without him before that. - The bar staff are also amazing and you’re never left without a drink a drink for long. The also come and take drinks orders at your subbed. - The staff at the Flamingo restaurant / bar are also all lovely and I was treated to a card trick on my last day. CLEANLINESS - Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels if needed. - There are cats around but the staff make sure they don’t go on the tables. There were some very cute kittens when we were there.
Cons - Food in the main restaurant was bland at times but I think they just try and keep neutral for fussy eaters. - The only real negative of the whole holiday was even though it was the end of season (a lot of staff were finishing for a few months break) and there were fewer guest, we were still declined late checkout. That meant we had 4 hours waiting round that could have been spent enjoying our last day of holiday. This tarnished an otherwise beautiful holiday.
Info - you pay the hotel tax on arrival and can use euros as you probably won’t have changed money by that point - i’d change a small amount at a time at reception as you can’t take money out of the country or take beyond security in the airport as everything is in euros anyway - staff don’t expect tips but will appreciate it. You can give directly to them or put in the boxes by reception which they share out between teams. They all work so hard, many without a break for 10 months so why not leave tips?! Especially as you can’t take money out of the country. - you can book bbq and L’Olivier once each during the stay as part of all inclusive. If you download the TUI Blue app you can make bookings and other requests online. I checked in online in advance this way too to save time.

Responded Dec 18, 2024
Dear Toni J, Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review about your stay. We're delighted that your impulse booking turned into such a pleasant surprise! We're thrilled to hear about your positive experiences, especially with our staff. It's wonderful to know that our entertainment team, bar staff, and restaurant personnel made such a great impression. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words. We appreciate your feedback on the food in the main restaurant and the late checkout issue. We're constantly working to improve our offerings and services, and your input is invaluable in this process. Thank you for sharing helpful tips about the hotel tax, currency exchange, and tipping. We're glad you found our BLUE App useful for bookings and check-in. We're sorry to hear about the disappointment with the late checkout. We strive to accommodate such requests whenever possible, but it can be challenging depending on incoming guests and room availability. We'll review our procedures to see if we can improve in this area. Once again, thank you for choosing our hotel for your holiday. We hope to welcome you back in the future for another delightful stay in Djerba. Best regards, BLUE Guide Rim

Positive points of the staff: professionalism / listening / responsiveness / efficiency / kindness. Never forget that, to benefit from the qualities mentioned above, you simply need to be pleasant and respectful towards hotel staff. In the event of a problem, it is important to provide precise information and, whatever happens, only calm can lead to a solution.
Positive points of the hotel space: adults only / great cleanliness of the interior spaces, including our room / well-maintained exterior spaces / very quiet and fairly well soundproofed hotel / all spaces are arranged in such a way as to never have the feeling of being bothered by the large number of residents.
Positive points of the culinary offer: the variety and quality of the products (fish, shellfish, meats, desserts), as well as prepared dishes / large selection of excellent pastries.
Some small renovations would be welcome in the corridors and rooms, while being a negligible detail compared to the conviviality of the place.
A special thank you to Rachid Anis (Deputy Director), Ramzi Tekitek (reception manager), Mouna (reception), Wafa and Sabrine (BLUE Guide) for their attentiveness, their efficiency and above all for their great kindness.
We have had the pleasure of returning to this hotel for several years for an excellent stay and not only will we return in 2024, but we recommend it to those who appreciate tranquility, friendliness and good food.

We have been flying to this hotel, which we consider to be the most beautiful on Djerba, with friends for years. The kindness, friendliness and attentiveness of all the staff cannot be topped. The range and quality of the food is excellent. I think that everyone will find something tasty here. There is low carb, vegan, vegetarian, diet food, local dishes, fish, meat, salads and the best delicacies for dessert. The service concept is lived out every day with a smile and tireless commitment. The location on the beach is unbeatable and there are enough beach chairs available so that you can still find free ones at midday. When the wind is strong, however, most tourists flee to the pools and then it becomes difficult to find a free chair, especially since these are "reserved" as early as 7 a.m. Thank God the management reacted a few days ago and pointed out the problem. We can only hope that tourists will change their minds. The hotel offers a "subtle" entertainment in the evening, which means that the music for the sundowner is wonderful, a saxophonist alternates with a harpist and a solo singer on the terrace when the weather is nice to get the evening in the mood. From 9.30 p.m., musicians take turns to perform, encouraging people to dance until 11 p.m. Even with the all-inclusive offer, we didn't hear any loudly shouting tourists getting drunk, and from 11 p.m. the bar is almost empty. In my opinion, the crowd has become much younger in the last two years, but anyone looking for Hully Gully should choose another hotel. Anyone who chooses this hotel is looking for peace and relaxation, and the "adults only" concept contributes to that. In my opinion, there is nothing to criticize or complain about, but I do have three comments. -can the management provide the small step in the area to the outdoor terrace by the pool with a small ramp (or leveling device) for wheelchair users so that these guests have an easier time getting to the table -can the management please pay more attention to ensuring that tourists no longer feed the cats at the table. The cats have their own cat hotel with a feeding station by the relaxation pool. I also don't think it's particularly hygienic when cats lie on the upholstered armchairs indoors.
We will be traveling to this hotel again next year in May and are already looking forward to being welcomed by friends.

In 15 days spent in this hotel I did not find much to complain about, which is exceptional. The room is spacious, ultra bright and very clean, well equipped with a wardrobe for each partner which is a plus and sea view. the mattress was on the other hand of very poor quality only negative thing to note The cleaning lady Mounira is very professional and very pleasant and I thank her (Ch 255) The meals are very varied and of excellent quality, including the barbecues. The pastries are made on site. The system of bottled water available in a window is a plus, as are the snacks and pastries a few steps away, 24 hours a day for the hungry. We have not tested the snacks because we are avoiding calories. The staff is friendly, polite and dedicated (apart from a waiter for the outside tables of the main restaurant who is very unpleasant, including with his colleagues) The deckchairs on the beach under the huts are widely spaced from each other, of good quality and the beach is very clean. It is permanently guarded by a guard all day long and supervised by a lifeguard for swimming. A drink service is available at the beach bar and the waiters come regularly to take your order if you do not wish to travel. The mini concerts from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. are of very good quality (sax, harp, violin, piano or singers) and the shows at 9:30 p.m. also including the fire show on the roof of the building. Our 9-day fitness treatment was very pleasant with good quality treatments and massages that followed the protocols. The staff is very friendly. From the welcome to the care there is nothing to complain about. Thanks to Naila Hamed and her colleagues This hotel fully deserves its 5* and of all those I have visited around the world, it ranks among the top. We will return there next year in August because the absence of children and therefore noise and noisy activity around the swimming pools is a plus when looking for rest after a year of work The all-inclusive formula is great because unlike many hotels there is a large choice of cocktails, moktails and non-paying alcohol at the different bars. I also noticed that a lot of people regularly return to this hotel A big congratulations to the management for the general performance of this in all sectors.

A superb Pension 5 * .Very good food. All the staff is very nice and friendly. From reception, luggage handler, security, bar staff, cleaning staff, maids, cooks, entertainment, shops ... the manager, all are very professional and smiling. On the other hand, my room 415, large, but a little old, broken front door, curtains did not close, bay window did not lock, and it took several claims for the bay to be repaired but not the rest ... No magnifying mirrors. In the bathroom and bedroom, towels, bathrobes, sheets and pillows are not worthy of a 5 star rating and need to be renewed. Thanks to the whole team.

Arrivals in a luxurious hotel that looks like a tale from the Arabian Nights... The kind welcome from all the hotel staff, a hello, a discreet smile... a briefing to explain to us all the infrastructures of this huge hotel. Installation by a very professional porter Faraht who took great care of us, spacious and comfortable rooms, nicely decorated, small downside in the bathroom where there are still bathtubs….. We only stayed 4 days, and were not able to take advantage of the restaurants with reservations, we ate in the large self-service restaurant. GORGEOUS ! Presentation, cleanliness, the quality of the products... bakers prepared the breads and pastries in front of us.... Cooks grilled fish at will…. Other meat stands, a stand dedicated to vegans, and desserts worthy of great pastry chefs. Congratulations to all this dedicated and discreet staff. The entertainment near the bar every evening, a very festive atmosphere. I almost forgot about care... I was lucky to have a lady with magical fingers who relieved my tension. Thank you to all.

Our holiday at TUI BLUE Palm Beach Palace was great! The reception upon our arrival was very warm, and even with a bigger problem the team at the reception together with TUI quickly and effectively arranged everything for us. The hotel and the whole complex are extremely well maintained, and our cleaner Siana surprised us daily with small decorative attentions. Our room was in top condition and always well cleaned. The minibar was replenished every day, but should anything be missing just a phone call.
The animation team was fantastic! Daly has provided plenty of fun for activities like volleyball and cornhole. The hookah bar was our favourite place to relax – Bolbaba always kept us in a good mood. There is a great selection of hookah varieties and tea.
The waiter team also did an excellent job, was friendly and attentive. The buffet was always rich and varied, with a good mix of international and local Tunisian food.
The indoor pool and gym were also in good condition and provided everything you need for a break or activity.
The evening program was varied and had something for everyone, but it was often too loud at the bar for our taste. We then found a quieter alternative in the hookah bar.
A positive surprise was that the towels on the loungers were consistently collected until 9am, so a reservation was not possible. There was also calm on the beach as flying traders were kept away by the security team. However, we were disturbed by a salesman of tours on the hotel complex himself, who was very intrusive and hard to miss at the central junctions.
Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and can definitely recommend the place!

We are back here to celebrate our 10 years of marriage and the baby moon, as I am pregnant...! We took the room with the "private" swimming pool which is actually shared with 5/6 other rooms, but very pleasant and quiet, for our anniversary they decorated the whole room, a touch of romance much appreciated ❤️ There are many included activities to do every day, from Arabic lessons, also touching on art and of course Sports, I particularly appreciated the water aerobics. The system for always having towels for the pool works perfectly, and it is really pleasant to always have a dry towel when you leave the pool... the cleaning of both the rooms and the common areas is meticulous and carried out several times a day... The buffet is vast with wide choices for all tastes, you are never disappointed, the numerous bars are always ready to serve you something good, the staff are lovely and helpful, but a special thanks goes to Anis, who made this stay unforgettable, truly making me feel pampered and making my every wish come true. Thanks again for everything and see you soon!
