Before the trip, I read negative reviews about broken old rooms and noise due to animation and was already prepared for the worst, but the hotel turned out to be much better than I expected. Firstly, I got a clean room, with new plumbing, and secondly, it was quiet and I didn’t hear any disco sounds at night. Because I also heard negative reviews about the rooms from tourists who were vacationing at the same time as me, I think that I was lucky, but the hotel is probably carrying out phased modernization and renovation, and I was accommodated in an already renovated room. There were also no problems with the language described in the comments; at the reception they spoke German and English, and some of the rest of the staff also understood English. The room was cleaned perfectly, there was never any dirt anywhere, towels were changed promptly, the bed was always neatly made, and a one and a half liter bottle of water was left every day. I liked the food, especially the desserts. Beware of the cakes - they are so delicious that you can add a couple of kilograms! :))) The animation was only in French and was intended exclusively for the French. It was interesting for me to watch from the outside, but I couldn’t participate, because... I don't understand French. But the animators worked well and it was even cool to watch. I liked the beach - white sand, good entry into the water. The first couple of days there was a storm and a lot of grass was thrown out, but it was immediately removed. Although the hotel should update the sunbeds and mattresses a little, and also add more when the hotel is completely full.
In principle, I would have given five stars, but the only thing I didn’t like was the WiFi: despite the fact that there were 3-4 networks, it was barely possible to establish a connection for more than a few minutes at a very low speed. Moreover, the connection was only at the pool and near the reception.
Overall, I was pleased with my stay; the price/quality ratio was quite acceptable.

superb stay in a human-sized hotel with two swimming pools and above all a very beautiful beach. We tried the private beach and frankly it's really great.
the rooms are spacious but need to be renovated but for information the renovation started in April 2024..
the restaurant is large and buffet style with very good and varied food.
there are two bars with local alcohol and some cocktails.
you have shops in the hotel and especially much cheaper outside the hotel opposite.
To visit the island I advise you to take a taxi, it's really the best.
the entertainment is very correct but be careful of the loud music around the swimming pool.
practical info:
the hotel has a currency exchange office at reception
he can lend you beach towels with a deposit of dinars or euros per towel
BE CAREFUL the wifi is not great it is present in the hotel lobby, towards the indoor bar and towards the pool bar ONLY. the solution is to take a Tunisian SIM card (Tunisie Télécom for example) for less than 20 euros you have 20 gigabytes to take at the airport or at Midioun.
you have a superb grocery store opposite the hotel run by ALI who will be happy to serve you and provide you with information if necessary.

We spent two and a half weeks at Palm Beach and had a great stay!
Good points :
- The entertainment: Everything is top notch, nothing to complain about! A huge thank you to Mido and Lilou who are adorable and know how to set the mood, but also to all the others who are just as sparkling and smiling: Eva, Abir, Eulalie, Maeva, Sheyna, Wassef, Nadim, Elbabs.. It was pleasure ! ♥
- The mini club: No children personally, but I was able to see the excellent work put in place by Maxence, Enzo, Hannah, Nesrine and Zazou. The activities for little ones are varied, the mini club is super cute and well equipped and all the children I met were delighted!
- The restaurant/Bar: The food is varied and very good. The cooks and waiters managed by Mohamed are all very cheerful and attentive.
- The rooms/cleanliness: A huge thank you to Salma, who is by far the best maid I have ever met. The room was always very clean with very beautiful towel sculptures with flowers etc. Thanks also to her colleague Dalila who took care of my room when she was away. The hotel's common areas are generally very clean, especially the pool toilets, always very well decorated with flowers by Rabiaa and Mohamed.
- Location: Very beautiful private beach with direct access with many parasols and deckchairs.
- The Director, Mohamed, is regularly present in the hotel and always very pleasant and smiling.

Negative points :
- Unfortunately I found that Youyou - before being ill - was not very hands-on and distant with vacationers. Which can be quite frustrating, especially when we are used to very present Leisure Resp. Once again, my congratulations to Mido who performed very well in his absence!
- The rooms, although clean, really need a refresh. Some of the plumbing is visibly in poor condition since the hot water supply pipe exploded in my bathroom at 1 a.m. the day before I left, flooding my room, the hallway and other rooms. However, I salute the speed of intervention of the night receptionist as well as the Technicians present who were very quick to resolve the problem and remove me.
- The staff who are far too insistent and sometimes behave inappropriately and who completely change their behavior and treat you badly when you refuse their advances or when you eat with entertainers.
- Intolerable behavior on the part of certain vacationers, at the same level as the Marseillais or TPMP: Big arguments almost every day with an anthology of insults, each one as elegant as the other in the presence of children for a parasol or deckchairs , guys who want to come to blows... In short, if we are not at least civilized and capable of living in a community for a week, it would be better to rent an AirBnB next year. Fortunately, 90% of the hotel are absolutely charming vacationers!

Otherwise overall, I recommend the Palm Beach, a pleasant hotel, with very friendly staff and vacationers! See you soon ! :)

Read this review before booking thinking you are in a club with a real benefit, this Pension is null and void.
On arrival the First Impression is that the Pension is dirty. At the reception you are given a room and left to fend for yourself. No baggage handler to guide us.
Rooms are a disaster, sleeping hell, the employees are aware of it but can't help us. The room is to be completely renovated although the Pension also, there is no storage and the bedding is horrible. All included is a sweet dream, not enough aperitif for all, the waiter of the all inclusive pool bar is alone for all guests however if you pay the cocktail they are 2 to prepare. You have to fill your bottle with water I let you imagine hygiene all the bottles pass through and all drink from the neck (me included)
Frankly I have done a lot of Pension in djerba and this one is the mediocre of all. I’m glad I went home, it’s the first time!
The beach there are only deckchairs that break your back and for the beach bar walou water in canister in dubious glasses! At 4000 euros a fortnight for 2 it is expensive paid for the low end.
The positive is the restaurant so congratulations to the chefs and waiters.
This Pension is unworthy it is a maximum of 3 stars. The pool is dirty like the rest
The animation is quite good especially the chef he is top, it is excellent driver of atmosphere.
I don’t have the words so much this Inn is a shame!

We returned from a week at the palm beach, we were two families 8 people in total with 3 bedrooms. Two classics and one superior.
Nothing wrong with all three. The classics are not impeccable and super modern but the rooms are made every day with little attention from the maids, air conditioning, shower gel shampoo soap and towels available. A bottle of water on arrival and then a water fountain at the bars and restaurants.
All day entertainment for all tastes, varied catering, everything is washed with mineral water and ice cubes.
Satisfactory bar, drinks too sweet for our taste but as in almost all clubs. Coffee tea etc also at any time.
Taste at 4pm daily (pancakes, cold pizzas, fruit, cupcakes)
Swimming pool/beach towels to borrow with a card to ask at the reception that serves as security.
Mini club for children from 3 years old.
Two swimming pools with two pools where the little ones have feet. Always a corner in the shade which is very nice.
For our part a great stay!

Pros: very nice and helpful stuff. When we came, there was a problem with a noisy toilet that was fixed immediately. Plenty of tasty food. Nonalcoholic drinks are available as a self-service, no queues for a glass of water! Beautiful beach and enough beds there (people prefer to stay by the pool). Superb animation team (miss you guys!). Extremely nice and helpful Czech animator Nikola.

Cons: the hotel would really use some renovation. Impressive lobby, but the rooms... Also, we were fighting for room towels daily - we got 2-3 for 4 people. We were not able to communicate this issue in 11 days of our stay. Many animations were for French people only as others just couldn't understand. Midday games based on the list of registered ppl when we never knew something was going on. Miniklub for French kids only (apart from the days when Nikola was available, but what about other nationalities?).

Palm Beach , 2 weeks in October. Djerba in October it is always very nice with sometimes thunderstorms and sea strokes but the temperatures both in the air and in the water are conducive to do nothing but swim.
The Marmara palm beach Djerba club hotel. What do you say? That it is a club that has existed for quite a few years, that we have been there 4 times that Marmara has got hold of this establishment , that the animators, all (or almost) are European, young and sometimes (very) noisy and that repairs or even improvements need to be made.
It has to close 2 to 3 months to renovate some rooms. Let's hope they do everything they can. We were in a room with shower, the slope of the bin was reversed i.e. the water, instead of flowing normally remained in the shower.
For the TV do not rush to turn it on it does not work or then the 2 or 3 French channels are jammed.
A few corridors are still lined with carpeting, which over the years has become dirty, stained and worn out.
The rooms are not equipped with chairs just a kind of “stool” with metal feet that makes a terrible noise when you move it. There are no drawers either. To store medicines and other books.
In the bathroom no paterne to hang pajamas and other dressing gown or shelf for hygiene and beauty products. Everything is laid in the washbasin which poses a problem for the cleaning lady who has to move everything if she wants to clean properly.
For the restaurant some would say that there is nothing wrong that everything is good, well cooked, hot and hearty. And others will tell you that the dishes are warm or cold, not cooked, that it is repetitive and that you spend a certain hour you find nothing (or almost nothing) to eat.
Make up your own mind and compare with other clubs if you have.
We have been going to Tunisia 2-3 times a year for 14 years. Palm Beach isn’t one of the bad ones, but it’s not one of the best either.
The bad points are to be put to the animation that pushes too hard their sound. If you want to attend one of their games it will be impossible for you to chat with your neighbor because you do not understand what he tells you. I've been complaining about the strength of the speakers for years, but nothing changes.
In 2022 I noticed that the beach mattresses had been changed. In 2024 I would like to ask that the beach chairs be changed. Spend 2 to 3 hours on one of these sun loungers and you will understand why. They are all stoned!!
I won't talk to you about calm and tranquillity. There were a lot of children during those two weeks. The kids need to move and scream.
One satisfies the staff. Always listening and smiling.
In short the Palm Beach is a good club where you can spend, especially if you have children, a good holiday for the rest of you to make up your own mind.

It is not an all inclusive but a full board, very few drinks are not charged (8 euros a cocktail!!) and the few drinks that there are are not cold, neither in the bars nor in the restaurant
Rooms in need of emergency renovation, sewage smells... despite the efforts of the cleaning ladies and Monia in particular, who do what they can with the few resources they have to make our stay pleasant despite the dilapidation of the premises
Access to the swimming pool is not safe for elderly or disabled people, step too high
On the other hand, what made us have a pleasant stay despite all that was a top entertainment team, full of energy.
There are good conditions for a pleasant stay if the management decides to renovate this aging hotel

Pleasant stay with acceptable catering. A willing and very active animation team without being invasive. A private beach with deckchairs near the Pension, very nice at this time of year (October).
Now we have to deal with the noise. Music until 1 a.m. Even closed window the music is there with us in the room. The cleaning of the room was not at the top. We had to change the fridge that was not working when we arrived. That said, we had to stop him at night because of his noise. The optional €40 extra service for fruit cutting, cold drinks and beach towels is useless. Towels are available free of charge with a deposit of 10 €. drinks are not replenished as planned!
