Do you want to know where your ferry sleeps at night? Well, if you do, the Hotel Minoa is perfectly situated so you can watch the Express Skopelitis come and go. Well, okay, if ferry-watching is not your reason for selecting a hotel, this is still an excellent choice. Thanks to the hoteliers, Stamatis and Calliope for helpful information and...

Minoa Hotel should rate higher than two stars. It's simple, but wonderful with its complimentary breakfast, perfect location, super laid back, homemade everything (delicious), well air conditioned rooms with balconies, close to the Cyclades Islands Ferry boat (but no noise and fumes) -- but best of all, the BEST service ever. And, very reasonably priced. Joanna (Ioanna) made every part...

We've just returned from staying at the Minoa, and repeating what has already been said is pointless, because it is spot on. Lovely place, lovely family. I would have no reservations about going again.

For the second summer we stayed in a beautiful room with sea-view on the port, well equipped and comfortable. Ioanna the owner is a very charmant lady we make you feel at home when you step inside. Delicious breakfast served in the cozy garden with local products like homemade marmalades, cakes, juices and yogurts. The staff (all nice women!) is...

Situated at a little square, 100 meters from where the ferries arrive and with a nice harbour view (not from all rooms though). The owners are exceptionally friendly and hospitable. Rooms are fairly basic but nice. Breakfast includes freshly baked pastries from the hotel's own patisserie. 100 meters to a small beach and a "beach boat" departures regularly just outside...

My husband , son and I really liked this hotel. The rooms were simple and impeccably clean. Right in the centre of things yet nice and peaceful to sleep in. Owners were extremely kind in letting us use our room early as arrived on a 6am ferry, which was an enormous bonus. Breakfast was delicious . Loved Amorgos

Our stay could not have been more perfect from the time we arrived and were greeted by Stamatis and welcomed like family. We had the perfect room that was not only clean and comfortable but a view that was picture perfect. Stamatis gave us helpful information about hikes and buses and Hotel Minoa was in a perfect location to access...

What really makes this hotel stand out are the owners Stamatis and Johanna. It felt like staying with good friends. You do your own thing but if at any point you need any sort of assistance they have the best advice. The location is perfect (if you don't like the idea of the hustle and bustle of a port -...

A family driven hotel where you are a family guest rather than a hotel client. We had a big studio, spacious, very well equiped, very clean and quite. Delicious breakfast with homemade cakes/pies, in a very nice environment. This is a place where the word stress doesn't exist. Strongly recommended.

Johanna and Stamatis could not have made my one night stay at their hotel any more wonderful and memorable. Their warmth and kindness was truly remarkable and welcoming for a solo traveler. I was given a room with a mountain view; the room was spacious and comfortable. A great location right on the harbor but quiet. They recommended a non-touristy...
